17/08/2025: I just left this restaurant with my husband. It's our second time here; the first was by chance, this time by choice. As expected, we ate wonderfully. The dishes were generous and tasty, the fried food crispy and dry, the desserts fantastic. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, attentive, and never intrusive. We'll definitely be back. 01/07/2025: A wonderful discovery among the flavors of Garfagnana We came across it almost by chance while searching Google for a place to eat, and what a nice surprise! After booking a table for two, we were welcomed with kindness and made to sit under a charming outdoor veranda. The environment is simple but well-kept, perfect for enjoying a quiet dinner. The menu offers a rich selection of traditional Garfagnana dishes, with typical products and really interesting combinations. We started with the “della Capannina” appetizer: a riot of local flavors with cured meats, crostini, spelt and other delicacies. Next, spelt flour gnocchi with pecorino cheese fondue and speck (creamy and tasty), chestnut flour pappardelle with leeks and sausage (a rustic and well-balanced dish), and a surprising rabbit stuffed with sausage, black cabbage and chestnut sauce, accompanied by roast potatoes ordered separately. They even offered us a taste of fried porcini mushrooms! The ending was worthy of applause: chestnut fritters (Necci) with ricotta and chocolate, served in a generous tray of six pieces, even though there were only two of us! Generous portions, excellent quality, more than fair prices and a warm welcome. An experience that we enthusiastically recommend. See you next time!

05/08/2025: The service was very nice but pizza is very disappointing. I am a frequent visitor to Italy and tried many pizzas in this region - this one was worse than I would have eaten in the UK. The doe was falling apart and buffalo cheese had absolutely zero taste. I suggest the restaurant should stick to what they are good at i.e. the seafood that seems to be getting very good reviews. If you are planning to eat pizza avoid this place unless you’d want to be massively disappointed.

17/07/2025: Very good steak, we had Black Angus, unfortunately only a few side dishes (onions, beans, potatoes), no salad, no sauces (e.g., pepper, Bordelaise, etc.), no salad (!), no fries (e.g., truffle fries). While the Italian tradition is respected, that's simply part of the experience at an international resort like Fort dei Marmi. Also, only one type of meat is Italian, the rest is international. The wines are very good, but the staff sometimes speak poor English and are a bit cold. Overall, good, but overpriced.

10/08/2025: A beautiful beach resort, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. It features a stunning terrace surrounded by greenery, well-spaced umbrellas, and the owners are incredibly kind and helpful, as are all the staff! It will be our go-to spot next season! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

30/07/2025: We've looked at and tested out many beach resorts in the area, from Forte dei Marmi to Viareggia. And we have to say that this one is among the best. The food is excellent and delicious. The beach is incredibly clean. The restrooms are well-maintained and clean. The showers are modern and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. A very fair price, and compared to the others, it's still better. All in all, probably the best value for money. We'd be happy to come back.

03/08/2025: We ordered the pizza menu and a few first courses, and ate in the evening on the terrace, which offers a picturesque view. Good pizza, like the Roman pinsa, with a light and digestible dough (leavened for 72 hours). Good service, avoiding small mix-ups (desserts not available, other desserts not listed on the QR menu, and other small items). Recommended

01/08/2025: We went to La Griglia sul Mare restaurant and had a great time. We dined on their fantastic terrace overlooking the sunset over the sea. The seafood was excellent, and the service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: The pizza didn't arrive due to the absence of a pizza chef, BUT... it was AMPLY compensated by the impeccable, fast, and friendly service... and above all by the fish dishes, which were nothing short of exceptional. We'll definitely be back.

05/08/2025: First time in Seravezza at this restaurant. Excellent wood-fired fish with vegetables. The first course needs to be reviewed. Spaghetti alle arsenale wasn't creamed enough. Price was normal.

27/08/2025: A disappointing experience. A tourist-catching pizzeria, I'd say. The pizza was smaller than usual (it was a baby, in other words), with a hard base that resembled a frozen pizza, and it also came with the wrong ingredients (I asked for a four-cheese white pizza, but it was served red). These were takeout pizzas costing €11, and for this quality, they're truly excessive. Likewise, the €6 for a beer. If saving money is the key, I also have doubts about the quality of the products.

10/08/2025: I got a Margherita pizza to go. It's good, simple, and cooked in an electric oven. The service is excellent; the lady is very kind and always available to accommodate the customer. The place only has outdoor tables, and in the colder months, they pull down the covers and warm up with mushrooms. The prices are absolutely competitive compared to other pizzerias in the area. Highly recommended.

26/08/2025: Slow service despite a reservation and poor customer service. The food quality has deteriorated compared to the past, and especially the price-to-value ratio has become quite steep. (Fried onion rings cost practically €1 a ring!!!)

21/08/2025: I really liked the place; I've been there a few times. The food is Oktoberfest-style: sausages, pretzels, sausages, pork shanks, etc. The food is decent, not excellent, but acceptable. The beers are good, and I think the quality/price ratio is good. We were a table of more than 10 people, and we averaged more than one beer each; almost everyone also had dessert. €32 per person.

14/07/2025: A takeout-only pizzeria, for us it's THE pizza! (Suffice it to say that we're willing to drive 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back at least a couple of times a month...). It must be said that it's a unique pizza, with a wide crust, long-rising dough, and—at least for us—exclusively Calabrian ingredients (grilled vegetables, spicy sausage, 'nduja, scamorza, chili pepper, spianata Calabrian, etc.). They also offer pizzas and calzones with classic ingredients. The calzones are excellent, as are the pizzas, all of which are generously sized (we usually order three between five of us) and at very competitive prices. For us, it's a regular stop that we always look forward to!

12/07/2025: The terrace is beautiful; we weren't able to use it, but we called at the last minute and they welcomed us inside. Delicious food and truly friendly staff. This is the part of Calabria we love; we were welcomed right at home, with home-made flavors and excellent value. We stumbled upon it by chance, and highly recommend it.
