08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here.
This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well.
I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types!
Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.

04/07/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. The service was far below expectations, especially from the lady working behind the bar. She was rude, unfriendly, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. A smile and basic courtesy cost nothing.
I’ve visited this place several times, but unfortunately, we’ve never been treated warmly by her. From what I personally observed, she seemed much friendlier and more welcoming toward Italian and white customers, while our experience was consistently cold and dismissive. Whether intentional or not, that’s how it made us feel, and it was very disappointing.

04/03/2026: I've ordered three times, all through Deliveroo. The last time, they were 20 minutes late, and the Sud didn't have nduja (a basic ingredient, not an added ingredient). I called, and they were very willing to make us a new pizza and send it over. Both the pizza and calzones were very good.
26/01/2026: This place sells delicious pizza at affordable prices with friendly people. We visited three times in one week, and the owner's bright smile made our meals enjoyable.

30/06/2026: I've had dinner here many times. The dough is very easy to digest and the pizza is extraordinary. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, kind, and ready to accommodate every need. It's definitely a place that has become home and makes you want to go back every night...we'll definitely be back many more times. Finally, it's also a great place for those with celiac disease who still want to enjoy a good pizza (which is also very good). 😁❤️

24/06/2026: One of my all-time favorite sushi spots! It's my go-to sushi spot. Very large portions, especially the salmon gunkan with Philadelphia (my favorite dish at this restaurant), and everything is delicious. Friendly staff, accompanied by cute little robots that bring your dishes to your table automatically. Very nice and spacious place. Plenty of parking. A real gem!

In the total chaos of the crowded room, the lady who served us was excellent! Very patient, kind, and accommodating.
Very good food; we tried several fish dishes, including the fried fish, which was really well done!
We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. Just steps from the center, with ample parking in the back.

01/07/2026: YES! This was a terrific stop off for lunch, available to dine in at comfortable shaded patio in front or to go, and delicioso pizzas, salads, fried bread and desserts. We had the margharita, the red slice, the white slice, tuna salad, yogurt, bread and granola — all very fresh and high quality. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting, staff friendly and clearly love their craft — our family all loved it — grazie 🥰🇮🇹

05/05/2026: We ate at this small but cute restaurant-pizzeria. There wasn't much room between the tables, so I had to step away from the stroller. Overall, the evening was a great one. The lady who served us was very kind. The pizza was too thin for my personal taste, but the toppings were excellent. Dessert was delicious, different from the usual.
14/04/2026: We went there for lunch today. They are absolutely lovely and hospitable there. We shared a pizza and the pappardelle bianco di chianina con pecorino (at least that’s how I remember it.
It was fantastic, great prices, and a really nice staff. We should have eaten inside, it was quite loud with traffic but we had bikes so we needed to watch them. I would definitely eat there again.
