Il Garfagnino In Borgo a mozzano

I've been to the Garfagnino restaurant twice in the last few weeks. We had the Garfagnino appetizer with various cured meats, fried pasta, polenta crostini with sauce, etc., followed by the sliced ​​steak. The staff were kind and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable. We had a great time.

We're a local from Rome and came to this restaurant for dinner at the end of May, trusting previous reviews. The restaurant is located on the main road in the Borgo a Mozzano area, not far from some very beautiful villages. The ample parking is very convenient, the interior is large and charming, and there are also tables available on a spacious outdoor patio. The menu offers a wide selection, especially grilled meats (the tagliata is excellent and plentiful!), everything is very good, even the wine by the glass. Excellent value for money, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If we're in the area again in the future, we'll definitely be back to try your dishes. Congratulations and thank you again! Il Garfagnino Di Nonna Clara is one of those places you can't go wrong if you're looking for traditional cuisine done well. The atmosphere is simple and casual, just like a true trattoria, unpretentious but with a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It's immediately clear that the emphasis here is on substance rather than appearance. I chose the set menu, which includes a first course, a second course with side dish, half a liter of water, and bread. It's a convenient and affordable option, especially if you want a full meal without having to choose too much. The dishes are traditional, with beautiful, bold flavors and generous portions, just as you'd expect from places like this. The service was calm and friendly, without being overly formal. I waited about 20 minutes, which was more than adequate considering the dishes are freshly prepared. Overall, it's a genuine trattoria, the kind where you eat well and leave satisfied, without fuss. If you're looking for something authentic, it's definitely worth a try.

Nice place. We expected better in some areas, but it's still a place we'd recommend. The place is beautiful and rustic, just the way we like it. Very fast service and friendly staff. The house wine was excellent, as was the truly tasty "Lumino" appetizer. We expected more traditional flavors from the "Garfagnino" appetizer. The lamb chops were good, tender and well-cooked. The stuffed rabbit was less good, lacking in flavor and a bit stringy (at least for our tastes). Average price.
