Quiet place. Picci cacio e pepe were good, but the peppercorns were quite large and too much on the plate... Tasty picania, changed after the first taste because it was a bit hard to chew. The owner remade our dish without hesitation. Terrible coffee (but that's the least of its problems). I still recommend going there.

Really tasty, hearty food. A bit outside of the city center which was a lovely change of pace. Wonderful staff and delicious food, and very reasonably priced.

As soon as we left, I couldn't help but express my satisfaction. The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere felt like a "friends' night," the background music was great, and the food was truly excellent. The selection of farmyard and hunter's cured meats was truly amazing, along with two other appetizers that were equally as good. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the side dishes were also excellent... Then dessert, coffee, and a digestif, and off we go!!! Just outside the walls, make sure to stop by if you're visiting Lucca!!!

Everything was perfect: from the food to the atmosphere/cleanliness of the place to the friendliness of the staff. Prices were average and portions were generous. A pleasant surprise just steps from the center of Lucca.

31/10/2025: I’ve been here several times in the past couple of decades but first time since 2017 I could come back and again it was amazing. I’m gluten free and they made the most delicious truffle risotto fresh and perfect. It’s more about the atmosphere and better if you can eat all the gluten but still I’m glad to come back. Nice people and perfect Tuscan cuisine.
11/10/2025: The dishes are also excellent to look at, the service is excellent and the interior of the restaurant is intimate.
