14/12/2025: One evening I happened to be there with my husband. It had been a while since I'd been there. We had a drink and then an appetizer. In the end, two arrived, but let's eat them. Two pizzas, and we'd been there for an hour. The pizzas were good, but the burnt black crust ruined the taste. It's a shame they ruined the aesthetics, yes. We were disappointed by the waitress, who was very rude to us. I don't know if we'll be back.

16/03/2026: I agree with other recent reviews that have highlighted the issue of interminable waits and lack of consideration. The coffee wait times are real, but this morning, after asking for it twice and seeing the obvious annoyance at the request, I left it there. Under those conditions, they're the ones who drink it. I paid for the pasta and left.

22/02/2026: The pizza is excellent, the service is fast, in short, top notch. One piece of advice: remember to handle the customer well. It's not about me, my service was top notch, but I've noticed that not all customers have the same experience.

21/01/2026: Nothing to say about the old management. Actually, it's a shame they're no longer there. But let's talk about the new management. I asked for a chicken. A girl came to me from behind the kitchen and took the chicken with her hands. I placed it on a counter and she took it back with her hands and put it in a bag that was closed roughly. So much so that I got home and the chicken was in the bag, not even in the foil. But the most painful note is that they sold me a chicken from yesterday saying it was fresh from today. It's really a shame you got the wrong customer. One because I'm a cook by profession. Two because you lost a customer.

09/01/2026: I was looking for hotel accommodations for January 6th. I looked on Booking.com and saw the Toscana Verde double room for €90. I called, and they emailed me a quote for €90. I went directly, and they charged me €98. The total bill, including tourist tax, was €104. The room was cold, there weren't enough blankets, the housekeeping needed updating, the bathroom had a sink that didn't drain... Breakfast consisted of yesterday's pastries... Obviously, this is my view of things.

01/01/2026: We booked this hotel for the night of December 31, 2025, as the last stop on our trip to Umbria. We didn't choose it because we knew the property, but simply because we were looking for a hotel with a jacuzzi in the room. We were assigned a suite with a jacuzzi: the room was nice, but nothing special compared to a 4-star hotel. The real problem came in the evening: when we tried to use the jacuzzi, the water was cold. We tried several times to contact the front desk, but no one answered. The result: no bathroom, and goodbye to the only reason we chose this hotel. In the morning, we reported the problem. The response was disappointing: we were told there was no problem, but that after 11 pm no one answered, even though it was New Year's Eve and the hotel was still busy. No apology, no customer service. We paid the full amount as if nothing had happened. I should add that the jacuzzi wasn't even well maintained. The breakfast was very poor, absolutely not up to par with a 4-star hotel, as was the overall condition of the property, which was rather questionable. For the price/quality ratio, I wouldn't recommend it. I found not only the handling of the issue, but the entire management of the property, to be appalling.

03/08/2025: A place a little out of the way from Subbiano but worth the detour. The atmosphere is like a small village café but with tasty, local cuisine. We had a perfect time.

07/01/2026: It's located in the newer part of town; if it weren't for the eye-catching sign, it wouldn't look like a restaurant. The entrance is at the back, offering a panoramic view in the summer. There's public parking on the avenue. The restaurant isn't large, seating 30-40 people at most. We went for lunch, and there were only two people in addition to our group. The service was quick, perhaps a little too pushy, and the waitress was present, coming to the table every two minutes. Dishes are cooked by a lady with a visible kitchen (the view is lovely). Portions are adequate, with reasonable prices. The tagliatelle, for my taste and experience, are larger than wide tagliolini, but the sauces and ragù are good. The crostini and main courses are pleasant, without anything special. Wine is available both in bulk and in bottles. The selection and variety of well-made desserts are good. The setting is adequate for the location, with a convenient bathroom and outdoor seating area. Dining outside under the pergola must be pleasant in the summer. They accept electronic payments.

I go in to buy cigarettes, I ask for 4 packs and ask if I can pay by card: I am told no, while for the purchase of a single pack I was able to pay by card (among other things the transaction was 30 cents higher than the price of the cigarettes). Unacceptable and illegal: the obligation to accept cards does not depend on the amount or quantity, but is expected for any amount. Such behavior should be reported to the Guardia di Finanza. There are many other places where you can buy without having to witness this absurdity. Never again.
