Chiantineria In Arezzo

My partner and I arrived at Chiantineria around noon and decided to start with a pleasant aperitif, then move straight on to lunch. It was an excellent choice! Huge applause goes to Alessia, the woman who served us: simply extraordinary! She didn't stop for a single second, moving from table to table with infectious energy and always maintaining a wonderful, sincere smile. Despite her hard work, she found the time to devote her full attention to us, stopping to chat with us, asking where we were from, and even giving us some invaluable tips on places to visit in the area. Her radiant professionalism truly makes a difference and makes you feel welcomed at home! The food and wine were also an excellent experience: The wines: We started the aperitif with two glasses of Vermentino, truly excellent. Afterwards, on the waitress's recommendation, we tried two glasses of Rame... what can I say, spot-on advice! The food: We ordered two truly exquisite tartares, beautifully prepared and incredibly flavorful. The only flaw? They were so good we would have happily eaten an even larger portion! The value for money was absolutely excellent, especially considering the high quality of the products and the attentive service. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passing through!

A very charming place, with a good selection of traditional dishes and an equally good wine list. Jazz music in the background creates a relaxed atmosphere. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable, considering it's right in the historic center.

We were on a three-day vacation with two other couples and a single person. We were staying in the center of Arezzo, and it was recommended to us for dinner. We were all a little disappointed. After making a reservation over the phone, we arrived at 8:15 PM. We ordered still and sparkling water, but it was lukewarm. We immediately pointed this out to the waitress, who brought us ice (it's not the best thing to drink sparkling water and wait for the ice to cool it and make it still). My wife and I don't eat rare meat or similar, so we chose other dishes, but they weren't available. We ended up choosing prosciutto with burrata (excellent). The house wine wasn't available, only glasses (€6.50). Scanning a QR code brings up another menu, and our friends choose dishes, but they're also unavailable. They choose a bottle and bring another because the other one was sold out. We order desserts, including ice cream with cantucci (two scoops to share), and they ask us to bring just one bowl and consume the ice cream for two from the same bowl. The waiters were kind but a bit slow, and while four of us ate, the other three waited for the steak tartare, which arrived just after we'd finished. We dined outside on the street, but the chairs were dated and uncomfortable, and the tables were a bit worn. We'll return to Arezzo, but definitely not to this place.

A special place where you can taste good wine and excellent Tuscan dishes.

Great place, the pici with white ragù were exceptional, we ordered seconds. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

A toast to Chiantineria – where wine, atmosphere, and Frenkie come together! After a long walk through the city, there is nothing better than settling down at Chiantineria. This cozy spot exudes pure Italian gusto: the wine flows, the conversations fly, and the atmosphere is so warm that you feel right at home immediately. We only had drinks ourselves, but the food that passed by looked so tempting that we will definitely order a plate next time. And as if that weren't enough: before you pay, take a stroll through the accompanying shop to pick up some tasty treats to take home. From a bottle of good Chianti to Italian delicacies – you always leave this place with a smile and a bag full of goodies. Oh, and Frenkie the Frenchie? Received like a prince here too. Dog-friendliness isn't a marketing gimmick here, but a way of life. In short: Chiantineria is the perfect place to unwind, raise a glass, and prepare for your next Italian adventures. Cin cin! 🍷🐾💛

We stopped at Chiantineria along a beautiful alley in Arezzo, drawn by the location and the traditional products on display. Laura Migliorini welcomed us with professionalism and a smile, and we trusted her and the sommelier. Two excellent red wines, a platter of unique products, and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended, if not mandatory!
