10/02/2025: Always a special place, from dinner with friends to a wedding. Excellent food and lots of availability. For our wedding they treated us like gentlemen. We recently enjoyed excellent service for a retirement dinner. Until next time !!! I confirm everything for the umpteenth time!!

13/06/2025: Crostini with excellent livers, pici with Chianina ragù absolutely amazing, spelt meatballs with morels very good beer and coffee 28.50 euros I would say excellent value for money.....with the gem of a very convenient parking 150 meters away just outside the walls of Sansepolcro....highly recommended

27/05/2025: The missing fifth star is certainly not for the quality of the food, absolutely exquisite, both in quality and in the mastery of how it was cooked. In this respect, five stars above. We went for lunch yesterday, very satisfied also for the honest price paid in relation to what we were served. The ladies were very kind. Strengthened by this pleasant experience, being still there in the area, today we wanted to repeat. The place was definitely fuller than yesterday, but many customers outside the place had already arrived at the cafe and would soon get up, and in any case many tables inside were still free. We asked three times if we could stay for lunch and we were practically ignored, the only answer extorted with difficulty, in a very hasty manner running without even looking at us, was that it is not possible at the moment, try to sit down there at the back, let's see...(?). It would have been enough to say no, yes, you have to wait, come back in half an hour or whatever. I have respect for those who work. I understand that there are only two ladies who have to take care of everything, cook, serve tables etc. and therefore being under pressure a bit of anxiety and nervousness is normal. However, feeling completely abandoned and not knowing if and when we could eat we left, I saw that other couples followed us... ..maybe another help in the dining room would give relief to everyone. Too bad. If you happen to be there and there is room, stop though, the food is very good.

14/06/2025: Large parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We sat at a table right on the terrace above the river. Since there were only two people serving, they came a little late to take the order but I arrived quickly with the dishes. The typical Tuscan dishes such as peposo, osso buco, tagliate, fresh pasta, various types of sauces accompanied by a very good full-bodied red wine without sulphates delighted our sense of taste and smell. The desserts were also very good, as were the coffees. Fair prices. We didn't get to 50 per person. I recommend it if you pass by the area.

08/06/2025: We only went here for dinner, but it was fantastic. The focus is on game and meat, and we really overate because it was so delicious. And the staff are very friendly. A must-go!

10/05/2025: Ottimo pub sia per cenare sia per il dopo-cena! Il proprietario è molto simpatico e mette a proprio agio. Consigliato sia per una cena stile-pub (i piatti sono all'altezza così come le pizze, niente di pre-riscaldato!) sia per il dopo cena. Birra molto buona! L'ambientazione, in stile miniera, è fatta bene considerando che si trova in una struttura commerciale. Sempre ottima scelta musicale. C'è ampio parcheggio ed è facile da raggiungere.

09/05/2025: A real mine! Good pizza, Tuscany, they often offer you 2 appetizers as an aperitif.... The beer is fantastic, but from small (0.30cl) you switch to the liter one which you can still split between 2 with 2 glasses. Excellent value for money. Good music.... I had the honor of playing live with an old Rock band.

07/06/2025: Reading the reviews I came to this restaurant with few expectations... but as you know I have no prejudices unless I touch it first... panoramic terrace...... elegant furnishings friendly service... the pici alla Tonino were a pleasant surprise... even if a little too spicy for me they were very good mixed to perfection... the platter of cured meats just right delicious... as well as the platter of cheeses sublime... excellent wine list... I didn't like the warm heart cake... in my opinion passed and overcooked.... the prices are average

31/05/2025: Very nice view, very nice service, vary good food and very unpleasant restaurant manager. I've been in this restaurant last year and liked it a lot due to the wonderful view. So this year, visiting Cortona again, I wanted to come back and knew exactly where I wanted to be seated. During table reservation, I've specified where I wanted us to be seated (right by the fence to have a better view) which was well understood and noted in the reservation book. However when we got to the restaurant, the unpleasant manager refused to let us sit at the table we reserved, claiming it was reserved by someone else a month in advance. He refused to check the note left in the reservation book and made us sit right in front of the table I've booked. Those mystweious clients never came and the table remained empty for the rest of the evening. Long story short: great place except but unpleasant manager

11/02/2025: Good meat but vegetarian option totally without taste. We appreciate live music but it was so loud that we didn’t hear each other. Quality vs price not so good. Nice view for sunset.

31/01/2025: The place seems small from the outside but once inside everything is very nice and welcoming, full of references to the school (even the menu). I took the cheese cake with pear and truffle cream, very soft and very good, followed by the chocolate ravioli filled with gorgonzola, which I liked but even though they were huge there were 2 of them, and finally for dessert an exquisite cocoa cake with berries woods. I also tasted the Orange Cappelli with white ragù, very particular but perhaps a more liquid sauce that could bind better with the pasta would be better. Average prices, kind service, bathroom that feels the weight of the years (the door doesn't lock well), but all in all a nice place where I will definitely bring friends and relatives

30/04/2025: We went to this restaurant by chance and what a surprise! We were found a place without having booked, the dishes were delicious and very well received and served. Since we were very happy with our experience, we returned 2 days later with the same success.

25/05/2025: Fantastic place to have an extensive lunch, in the shade, very friendly and felt very welcome. Menu well explained. Pasta funghi is recommended, local wine, not expensive. Favorite place of Dutch people said the hostess.

03/02/2025: I ordered the vegan birthday cake because I have intolerances. The cake was delicious!!! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and satisfied my requests in full! Highly recommended!!!!

29/12/2024: Discovered by chance while looking for another pastry shop but I must say that it was a very sweet discovery, in addition to the always kind and friendly staff, the desserts are delicious and spectacular! Really good prices for an artisanal pastry shop; A little difficult to find.

05/06/2025: I honestly don’t know how anyone could say anything negative about this hotel—it’s absolutely stunning. The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and every detail was perfect. I worked directly with Debora to plan my wedding here, and it was truly a dream come true. We stayed in the Winery Suite and held both our ceremony and reception on-site. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience.
