23/08/2025: Review Location Upon arrival, the wait to be escorted to the reserved table was quite long, a detail that clashes with expectations in a setting of this caliber. The terrace, overlooking the lake, proved to be a charming setting, elevating the experience with a truly enchanting view. Welcome and aperitif I chose to order a drink to begin. The lack of a small side dish—though not essential—did not show the attention to detail that is generally appreciated, especially in a fine setting. Cuisine The cordon bleu I ordered proved well-executed, with a satisfying balance of flavors and an overall convincing preparation. Ambience The restaurant's interior is clean and well-kept, conveying a tidy and pleasant image. Service The real sore point of the evening was the service: the wait staff seemed inattentive and, after the dinner arrived, didn't bother to clear the tables of aperitif glasses and plates. In such a prestigious setting, one would expect more attentive customer service and exemplary service. Conclusion Despite the beauty of the location and a reasonably solid cuisine, the shortcomings in organization and, above all, in service significantly diminish the overall quality of the experience. A place that has all the makings of a standout, but currently fails to fully realize its potential, leaving diners more disappointed than satisfied. - Culinaris -

07/06/2025: Io sono trooooppo affezionato a questo posto. Ogni qualvolta mi trovo a Firenze è tappa fissa. Cibo autentico e buonissimo. Qualità prezzo top. Ma ciò che fa la differenza, lasciatemelo dire, è la gente che porta avanti questa splendida “bottega”. Massimiliano, gabry e tutta la squadra….Mio posto del cuore a Firenze.

05/05/2025: Allá Vecchia Bettola está fuera de la trampa turística en Florencia - vale la pena dejar el centro y salir aquí. Nos encantó todo y la oportunidad de visitar otras partes de Florencia. La comida es maravillosa - el servicio y el ambiente también. Si tuviéramos la oportunidad y nos quedamos más tiempo en la zona, sin duda habríamos vuelto para otra cena o almuerzo.

21/08/2025: The pizza is very good, but this is the SEVENTH TIME we've eaten here, and SEVEN times (I swear, it sounds like a joke, I wish it were, but it's not), including tonight, they've gotten my pizza wrong. Twice, they've even gotten it wrong twice in a row—unbelievable, I've never experienced anything like this. Tonight, by the way, I hadn't asked for any changes, but the pizza was simply one of the ones offered; they managed to get it wrong twice, but the third time was good. There are too many covers and it's probably difficult to manage... One piece of advice: improve communication between waiters and pizza chefs and pay more attention to the customer; we're not numbers, we're people... A special mention to the waiter with the shaved head; he always treated us well (unlike everyone else), making light of the situation every time and putting a smile on our faces.

18/08/2025: The pizza is very good and easy to digest. Their gelato is top-notch. The staff is friendly, but if you go on busy days, it can get noisy. However, you're near a roundabout, which isn't ideal. A small tip for parking: It's best to go a few meters further and leave it at the Ekom or on the street. I left it one evening in the apartment building parking lots opposite the Roman road, where there are restrictions, and I found a flat tire with a large nail stuck in it. Whether it was accidentally or intentionally left, I can't say. But I've heard that every now and then, arguments or "mischief" happens. The signs indicate that it's private property.

06/06/2025: We've been cycling for two weeks. Best accommodation (and value for money) so far. Extremely friendly, excellent food. Beautiful view/sunset from the terrace. The vaulted cellar dinner was also top-notch!

10/05/2025: Serata tranquilla in coppia. Pizza buona. Bassa, come nelle tipiche case del popolo fiorentine ma devo dire molto buona. Carica di sapore e di ingredienti. Peccato per i prezzi da ristorante gourmet. Impossibile pensare di pagare una maialona 14,5€ o un antipasto toscano 13€. A ponte a Ema manca una pizzeria, a prezzi medi sarebbe sicuramente stata un’opzione per la routine ma così è difficile. Valuteremo se tornarci.

03/08/2025: Menù narrato, cantato e mangiato. L'oste, lo chef Massimo non canta le storie ma parla del menù e già ti predispone alla..tavola. Locale accogliente, nella piazza del Comune del piccolo paese di Marciano, servizio cordiale e piatti della tradizione locale contadina, del tempo delle battiture affollate e dell'acqua che si attingeva dai pozzi. Il pranzo, ben fatto, dall'antipasto ai primi e secondi, ti ricorda tutto questo con un tuffo nel passato e la bocca nel..piatto. Prezzi onesti per qualità/prezzo.

12/05/2025: Renowned for its Catalan cuisine but compared to other restaurants of the same level it is served either only lobster or a mix of prawns and scampi with vegetables The first courses are excellent but the portion is limited due to the quantity Considering that the location is not seafront, that the quantities are not abundant, that the quality is excellent, the service is excellent, the price in my opinion is too high.
