18/05/2025: Wow! ¡Qué hallazgo! Si alguna vez estás en Montalcino, Italia, no te pierdas este restaurante para el almuerzo. Mi esposa y yo vimos este lindo lugar cuando llegamos y decidimos probarlo. Bueno... estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. En el momento en que entramos en el restaurante, nos recibieron con una sonrisa, un servicio maravilloso, comida fantástica y un vino fantástico. Recibimos una sorpresa después de que pedimos - un fabuloso Amuse - Bouche. Además, el Insalada Caprese fue tops! Tuve ñoquis de espinaca con conejo por primera vez en mi vida y estuvo delicioso. Era ligero, tierno, y diferente a todo lo que he tenido antes. (Pero no se lo digas a Bugs Bunny.) Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar.

12/05/2025: Pasamos en este lugar encantador para el almuerzo y nos encontramos con un servicio maravilloso, comida fabulosa, y vino estupendo. Después de ordenar, nos sorprendió con un encantador Amuse - Bouche. El Insalada Caprese fue el mejor que tuvimos en todos si Italia. Los ñoquis de espinaca con ragu de conejo estaban bien preparados, ligeros, tiernos, y no se parecían a nada de lo que tenía antes. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar.

21/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con il mio compagno e, purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative. Il servizio è stato lentissimo, con attese interminabili tra una portata e l’altra, e il personale di sala si è dimostrato poco professionale e per nulla cortese. Il livello del cibo, poi, è stato sorprendentemente deludente: piatti privi di carattere, senza alcuna vera ricerca o emozione. Nulla che possa giustificare le ambizioni (o dichiarazioni) da ristorante stellato. Onestamente, non troviamo alcun motivo per consigliare questo locale. Anzi, lo sconsigliamo vivamente. Un’esperienza che non ripeteremo mai più.

19/07/2025: abbiamo sperimentato il menù di mare preparato dal nuovo chef che ci è stato riferito essere arrivato solo da pochi giorni. i piatti tutti molto equilibrati e ricchi di sensazioni , che nel mantenere i sapori di base si fondono con ingredienti a sorpresa mai esasperati nè dominanti per un connubio esperenziale perfetto. un servizio impeccabile , molto apprezzato nella assidua attenzione al commensale, resa insospettabile dalla giusta distanza ma presente nei preziosi e cordiali consigli del maitre di sala

21/08/2025: The place is cute and the staff was friendly. For the menu, I recommend the typical Lunigiana panigacci. I had them dry with cured meats, cheeses, and Nutella topped with them. They're excellent, and the way they make them is also unique, a little different than usual: they make them in a sort of small dish and cook them in the oven. You can have as many panigacci as you want, but after just the second basket, you'll be full ;) The very friendly staff even showed me the kitchen and where they make the panigacci. Recommended

20/08/2025: If you're craving panigacci, you're in the right place; the dried ones are really well cooked. The boiled ones stand out when they're au gratin...they're the only ones that do it.

21/05/2025: I was here to try the famous cube croissant and I have to say I was partially disappointed. I arrived quite late, around 11:00 and I was quite lucky because I got the last one with custard, luckily I didn't even have to queue for long, but let's get to the point. The croissant is good but the dough is just right and it frays like pressed bread, it has no particularity, almost rubbery which I was very sorry because the cream was excellent, very balanced, you could taste the vanilla berries, it was fresh and fragrant, a real shame. I also got a pressed orange and you can only eat it at the table. The bar is in a nice square and it is pleasant to have breakfast here, even if it is very touristy, as is the bill which was 12 euros.

10/07/2025: We booked for four people, but there were only two loungers per room at the pool. The kitchen facilities were the worst I've ever had in Italy. So, we had to do a big shopping trip, including a decent espresso maker, salt, pepper, oil, etc. When we asked if we could book additional loungers at the pool, we were told, "That's just the way it is."

03/07/2025: Nice place, with excellent services but cleanliness and rooms to be reviewed. Wonderful place where you can unplug and breathe a bit of peace and relaxation. Beautiful pool with sunbeds assigned based on the apartment number, so you can't go wrong. Very well stocked bar. Restaurant with excellent food, very good pizza, friendly and always helpful staff. The menu includes options for children and to our pleasant surprise a pasta for babies, which is prepared free of charge. As for the location, we are 25 minutes by car from the beach, but still easily reachable. Definitely an excellent location for bike rides or wine/oil tastings, which are promptly suggested by the reception. Having traveled with a small child, we did not have the pleasure of going into the excursions in depth. Unfortunately we come to the sore point of this resort, namely the apartment and the cleanliness. The website describes it as rustic Tuscan style, but we only found an old and poorly maintained house. I am very sorry to have to add a negative comment to the place, because in general we had a great time and it was a great week of vacation, but the cleanliness was very poor! Cobwebs under the chairs, hair on the sheets and in the bathroom, dusty and dirty floors (my daughter who started crawling, time to unpack the suitcases, we found her with black knees, hands and feet!!!), kitchen tiles all greasy, oven unusable, dirty tables, some dead ants in the child's bed (perhaps "acceptable" being in the countryside). Chest of drawers with a drawer with only one handle, so that was unusable, since it was very large and heavy and two were needed to open it smoothly. The drawers of the bedside tables smelled strongly of old/humidity so unusable. I strongly recommend equipping all apartments with mosquito nets, especially since it is a place in the middle of greenery and nature, due to the insects and mosquitoes constantly present. I must say that after I complained, the reception took care of providing us with mosquito nets by the meter the next day, that we could cut and attach as needed, and mosquito-repellent stoves. I conclude by saying that there will probably be some apartments that are newer and better kept than ours, I'm not sure, but the advice is definitely to improve the quality of cleaning because the services and everything else are really worth it.

06/09/2025: First of all, we had a pleasant six-night stay as a family; overall, we had no problems. I'd like to thank the hotel staff. Regarding the hotel, we chose this hotel because we had business in the Prato area. The location is quite good, 20-30 minutes from Florence and about an hour's drive from most important sites in Tuscany. So, if you're traveling in the region, the location is excellent. In terms of hotel service, it offers a full four-star rating. If the hotel were renovated, it could even earn five stars. The hotel overall is a curious mix of new and old materials. The Italian motto of "if it works, keep using it" is evident. Some things are very new, others are ridiculously old. It's clear they've replaced it as pieces broke down. So, there are at least 20-year-old fluorescent lights, motion sensors, curtains, and air conditioning remotes, but the TVs, faucets, beds, linens, and most of the bathroom are new. The hotel has a strange feel, but as I said, there are no problems with the service and operation. The hotel's amenities are fully equipped, including dental kit, hotel slippers, and a minibar. The cleanliness is incredibly good. Many compliments to the lady who cleaned our room; she made it spotless every day and was very attentive. The breakfast is very good, and the hotel restaurant is generally good, and you can choose to have lunch or dinner. The prices and quality are good. Parking is easy; there's free parking in front and left, and there's also a covered parking garage for €7 per day. There's a Locarto and Enterprise office inside, and you can rent a car. There's a beautiful outdoor pool and sunbathing area, which unfortunately we couldn't use due to the weather and the rush. Like its name, we loved the artistic paintings and objects. Now, my criticisms: our room definitely needed a fresh coat of paint. There's a coffee maker in the room, but a kettle would have been better. The security of the room doors is unsettling; they open with just a slight shoulder movement. There's no complimentary complimentary water in the room. The room thermostats are very old and need replacing; we couldn't adjust the temperature. In fact, a general renovation is really needed. Everything in the rooms is functional and meets every need, but we felt a bit strange there. This isn't the hotel's fault, but there's a serious mosquito problem in the area. Be careful. The hotel has placed mosquito repellent in every room. The hotel is trying to combat this, but the municipality clearly isn't. The area is generally struggling. Other than these minor suggestions, as I said, the hotel is very good. For the price and performance, you can choose it with peace of mind. I thank the entire team for their attentiveness. I will definitely choose this place when I return.
