27/08/2025: A village food bar on the hill near Marradi, with outdoor seating practically on the river. A must-visit for me, especially for the excellent Tuscan bread and prosciutto sandwiches, as well as the platters with a good selection of wines by the glass. Delicious homemade desserts!

12/07/2025: A beautiful hotel in a unique botanical garden, just steps from the sea in Sant'Andrea on the island of Elba. The breakfast is truly excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and the service is warm and friendly. On Wednesday mornings, there's a delightful yoga class offered, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

22/06/2025: Excellent location to visit the other villages and it is 200 meters from the sea, excellent breakfast, well-kept and cared for place, we were welcomed by the owner even if it was late at night, if you like tranquility and greenery the Cernia hotel is the right place. 27/05/2025: We know that the chef we liked is no longer there, our experience refers to a long time ago. We have not been back since then - We tried the restaurant and we liked it very much. A beautiful atmosphere and a friendly and attentive service. We were welcomed with a smile and kindness. It is not the typical Garfagnana menu, the chef skillfully uses local products combining them creatively with spices and aromatic herbs. You must try the pappardelle all’ortica with fresh trout, dill and chilli. Finally a menu that also has vegetarian dishes!

31/07/2025: Ottima la scelta dei piatti (cervello soltanto su ordinazione). Abbiamo optato per un vitello tonnato ed un ottimo spaghetto del chianti e guanciale. Prezzi onesti, sicuramente ci tornerò per il cervello fritto.

09/07/2025: An excellent agriturismo in a quiet location, close to all the Maremma attractions. The very friendly and helpful staff ensured we had a truly relaxing holiday. The restaurant, offering traditional and local products, is also excellent.

21/06/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't get the rooms we booked because they were already occupied! We had booked two air-conditioned rooms next to each other in the spa building on the ground floor because my husband has limited mobility. On the first evening, there were no air-conditioned rooms available in the spa building, and we were told something about water damage. But all four rooms in the spa building were occupied (despite the water damage?). The next day, we were given a room in the spa building, but on the first floor; the stairs were difficult for my husband. Our friend only had one very small, dark room during her entire stay, which we hadn't booked! Answer: You may have had water damage, but not in the rooms we booked. The rooms we booked were occupied. Our spa visit wasn't free; we paid €60 for two people and two hours in the spa. We didn't receive a discount on the room either. They simply charged the price for the cheaper room without any further consideration. At our dinner on the first evening, the meat was inedible, and only half of the menu was served, again without a discount. There was also no discount for the room on the first floor, which was difficult for my husband, who has a mobility disability, to reach. If you would like to send us another discount, you have our email address. If we receive the discount promised here, we will post it here. We never received a free spa!!!! and no discount on the rooms either!!!!!!

28/06/2025: We had dinner on the terrace overlooking all of Florence. Very kind staff. Tasty appetizers, very good pizzas with many types of dough and stratospheric desserts. Absolutely recommended!

07/09/2025: We had lunch at Roberta's. The people were very kind, the food was excellent, the view was beautiful, everything was really good. I recommend it to everyone. They also make excellent jams, and everything is organic.

10/05/2025: Fiorentina EXCELLENT!!! In general, the quality of the food is good, the prices are fair and within the norm... I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat an EXCELLENT Florentine steak!
