18/08/2025: We also wandered in by chance but were greeted with warmth and kindness right from the start. The food was very good despite the slightly dated restaurant. The owner's friendliness was a plus!

26/08/2025: We loved our stay and hope to be back. The warm staff and attention to detail were next level, and the hotel itself is stunning. Breakfast in the square with a view of the beautiful white & green church was the perfect start to our day. Grazie mille to the team!
20/07/2025: First time visit to Florence and stayed at this very sophisticated boutique hotel. Everyone was super attentive, really took care of us. Very extensive breakfast and helpful concierge, they made the best out of our 2 day trip. Best place to stay in Florence!

12/06/2025: I went to this pizzeria some time ago and ordered the classic Arabic bread: the best I've ever tried in the area!!! When you enter the place it almost seems like it doesn't have tables, but if you go inside it has plenty of seats even in a small courtyard. Also suitable for groups of people.
Very light, not too crunchy and filled with excellent quality ingredients. Nice and friendly waiters, I will definitely be back!!! Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: A very pleasant evening, good food, attentive and kind staff, it almost feels like being with family. If you want to spend an evening in a simple but very welcoming environment with good food and spending a fair amount, go to Lanternina in Fornoli, Bagni di Lucca and enjoy your meal.

10/08/2025: We were passing through on our way back from Abetone at 5:45 a.m., and it was the only open bar we found for breakfast. The pastries and cappuccino were excellent. The owner was really friendly. And just steps away is the first bridge in Italy built from wood and iron, dating back to the late 1800s. If you're passing by, it's worth stopping by.
08/08/2025: Ho preso caffè macchiato e cornetto all'albicocca, al momento di pagare avevo preparato €2,80,come in tutti i bar, forse anche più importanti del Tintori, qui invece mi chiede €3,30, ma siamo matti, lo capiscono che fanno danni solo a se stessi? 🤔 👎

24/07/2025: Loved everything about this hotel, lovely rooms, great breakfast, the kindest staff and perfect location (Lucca is amazing so would recommend to stay at least 2 nights!!). Oh and the winebar that’s part of the hotel is a must too
10/06/2025: My husband and I spent two nights at this charming hotel. The staff are most helpful and friendly and very attentive at breakfast time. The selection at breakfast was very impressive with fresh coffees made to order. The room was very comfortable with everything available for your comfort. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

27/07/2025: Moeder en dochter doen dit puur uit liefde voor het vak. Moeder als kok en dochter als bediende, op persoonlijk niveau. De pasta carbonara was buitengewoon lekker, terwijl ik een regelmatiger carbonara-eter ben. Nog nooit zo lekker gegeten en heel authentieke ervaring zonder toeristische focus. Ook veel locals komen hier eten als vaste klanten. Warme sfeer, echte aanrader!
25/07/2025: Si quieres una experiencia gastronómica Italiano tradicional en la Toscana entonces ven aquí. Sí IT es un servicio lento, ya que solo hay nonna cocina en el ITchen y un servidor (la hija), pero es fabuloso. Tómate tu tiempo y disfruta del ambiente, nos encantó IT. La pasta gf estaba genial, el filete estaba tan tierno y el vino precioso, la crema de caramelo era la mejor que he probado. Disfruta del ritmo, IT es más lento pero relájate y sigue la corriente. Nos encantó IT y hemos reservado para volver!

14/07/2025: Had dinner yesterday with a reservation. Excellent fried fish in a homey atmosphere, at a more than reasonable price. We'll be back.
09/07/2025: Nothing short of excellent, from the food to the empathy and friendliness of the staff. The fried food has never tasted so good, as have the desserts. If you're expecting a fancy place, this isn't the place for you, but if you want to eat well and without huge waits in a clean and quiet environment, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back again and again.
