Dinner with friends; we were undecided, so we ordered every first course on the menu, each one better than the last! Monica was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and after dinner we stayed with her for a bit of a chat! The taverna on the outskirts of town was wonderful; if you haven't visited, it's a great post-dinner digestif!

Out of all the restaurants we went to in Italy, this is the one I remember better. A simple, underground tavern, warm and homely, perfect to be in with your family. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The truffle pasta is still in my top 5 favorite foods I’ve ever tried. It created a memory in me that will live on forever.

Garfagnana is delicious everywhere you look, and you'll find great food. But here...even more. My favorite place. I was there less than a week ago and I'm already thinking about when to return.
