Da subito sono rimasto affascinato oltre che dalla bellezza, pulizia ed ordine delle sale soprattutto dalla professionalità, cordialità e disponibilità del maitre sig. Pappalardo che ha curato tutto nei minimi particolari non lasciando nulla al caso. Grazie al maitre ho scelto un menu molto raffinato e con portate di altissima qualità. Anche il personale di servizio e' stato molto educato e professionale. Proprietari particolarmente cordiali e disponibili. Casa Modò ha reso possibile ogni mio desiderio rendendo il mio cinquantesimo compleanno un giorno veramente speciale. Grazie di cuore

26/02/2024: I chose this location to celebrate my fiftieth birthday, a very important milestone. I was immediately fascinated not only by the beauty, cleanliness and order of the rooms but also by the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the maitre d'. Pappalardo who took care of everything down to the smallest detail, leaving nothing to chance. Thanks to the maitre d' I chose a very refined menu with very high quality dishes. The service staff was also very polite and professional. Owners particularly friendly and helpful. Casa Modò made my every wish possible, making my fiftieth birthday a truly special day. Thank you with all my heart

28/02/2024: Superb and large range of (only) Italian micro brewery beers. Highly recommended. Hoppe was opposite and run by same people, they just moved across the road.

20/12/2023: As soon as you enter you are greeted by a display case full of desserts which are a pleasure just to look at and the taste confirms the delicacy! Followed by the diner and excellent sandwiches. Suitable place for an excellent lunch break. Very welcoming and kind staff, as an environment there is the possibility of sitting both inside and on the bright veranda.

28/03/2024: We visited this place 2 years ago and had an amazing experience with the service and the mixed cheese-chartreuse platter. This time the portion was much smaller and the service less appealing, but it was fine. In 2 years things changed, there is inflation everywhere, etc. The platter was still enough, beautiful and delicious with a good variety.

11/12/2023: We asked if we could have the aperitif, they said yes, and then they didn't offer it. We ordered an antipasti and a pasta each. And the quality-price ratio does not correspond. The food was very passable, and at least for what we paid we ate much better in other places. Beyond the fact that we were tourists, they teased us and said something that wasn't true so we could sit down.

21/03/2024: Clean, refined and tidy location. We found kindness, friendliness and customer care. We were greeted with a welcome gift at the table and smiles. We highly recommend the delicious bruschetta, the fried mix, the pasta with pistachio, the second course with a trio of fish and the desserts, each better than the other. We opted for tiramisu, cheesecake and sorbet. All very good. We truly appreciated the surprise on the cake with the candle and the number 8, corresponding to our eighth wedding anniversary. A really positive note was the tasteful background music, set at a balanced volume which allowed you to relax but at the same time be able to talk. Two constructive criticisms concern... 1^ the pasta with pistachio: a smaller quantity of pesto would have been perfect. 2nd concerns the second course, I would have expected at least two prawns and not just one since it is written in the plural on the menu. I would have liked to give 4 and a half stars but since it's not possible, I go overboard and give 5 well-deserved stars. Because truly, excellent value for money, all the staff are kinder than the others, possibility of a 20% discount thanks to a online application. Happy to have spent our eighth anniversary with you, we will certainly return with pleasure. A special thank you goes to the Lady, whose name we don't know but who, "is the business card of the place."

24/03/2024: I got to know this place through an organic video on social media created by an influencer who promoted the place "Abundant and refined aperitif". The video is not recent (2022) so I was careful to call before going to the restaurant. The very kind owner confirmed the accuracy of the video, made a short list of the dishes (short because I interrupted her) The "sponsored" aperitif included a mixed fish starter, 2 second courses and 3 desserts €18 Obviously it was false communication to attract customers, because it didn't coincide... I can understand that some courses change but if it is confirmed that the video is correct I expect the correct courses. The minimal aperitif was good, I liked the prawn. I didn't like the couscous, it went back, it looked like baby food. 2 aperitifs 2 people 1 bottle of water €45, for the quality and quantity the price is high. I answer...Yes, she was clear but in her own way... Aiming "for the catch of the day and the search for quality". I imagine that great research has gone into serving frozen French fries from supermarkets (unlike the chips with fresh potatoes advertised on the video). Great research into serving 1 small plate of second course, a sorbet, a spoonful of ricotta with a composition*deconstructed cannoli". I remind you that it's not with Fuffa that generates customers... because she confirmed that the video was correct. Assuming that the aperitif was good overall, no one criticized the dishes... but everyone in a public and democratic virtual place reacts and writes what they think. Let's not talk nonsense... about quality and fish. Allow me to tell you that the mussels are caught all year round but the "seasonality" and quality starts in June. Make every discreet review a strong point to improve yourself. Use your art and dialectical skills to write other advertising content. Remember De gustibus non disputandum est

Dispiace molto perché il personale è gentile, ma c'è da migliorare tanto

27/03/2024: We had lunch in this charming place after our tour to Etna - and what an experience it was! Their restaurant serves an exceptionally good and reasonably priced daily menu with a selection of antipasti, pasta, main dish and dessert - complemented with great wines of the place's own vineyard. It would already be enough for 5 stars, and I haven't mentioned the wonderful panorama to the sea in the foothills of Etna. By far my favourite gastronomical experience during my stay in Sicily - grazie!

While my wife left some 🤪 The very nice owner, available to advise you, the waiter who is an expert in evaluating the customer and in the service (he has seen the cutlery positioned in a certain way and immediately runs over to ask if he can remove the plate!). If you pass by Aci Sant'Antonio try the La Mastunicola pizzeria!!! You won't regret it 😉
