09/08/2025: I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with my husband and children, during our stay in Italy after coming from London, and it was a beautiful evening. The place is absolutely charming: everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the service. The staff were all kind and highly professional. A special mention goes to the waiter Francesco , who served each dish with detailed explanations, always delivered with genuine kindness and expertise. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well, and his warm personality brought great conversation and laughter to our table. I truly hope to return one day to relive such a wonderful experience!

07/08/2025: I've been to this location several times, but the event held on August 6, 2025, deeply disappointed me, so much so that I will never return. The evening, at a reduced cost of €55, was comparable to a village festival (which was certainly of a higher standard). The service was poor, the food was subpar, and there wasn't enough seating. When I asked for a table, I was told "this table is for special people." I, who pay, consider myself above any special person. Such a response is inappropriate and unprofessional, which is why I feel like I've done a little good for the Nicosia Winery, which has lost all my respect and consideration. People shouldn't be mocked in such a rude manner.

01/07/2025: Tonight I tried this take-out pizzeria for the first time. Excellent dough, just the right amount of flavor, well leavened and cooked to perfection; abundant and tasty toppings. Keep it up, and I will continue to be your customer!

18/06/2025: Una buena granita con muchos sabores y que sabía fresco y no de una botella. Cuando fuimos el frente de la tienda estaba cubierto de andamios, lo que restó un poco de la experiencia, pero no la culpa de la cafetería. Comimos naranja sanguinolento y café granita. Ambos deliciosos.

La prima location vista da internet e subito di presenza è stata proprio villa verdiana... In sintesi?!? Il giorno stessa visitata l'abbiamo scelta in meno di 24h... Non eravamo mai stati prima,a scatola chiusa ci siamo subito fidati del mitico signor Trubia e dalla sua collaboratrice Simona che mi ha seguito e proposto dall'inizio... E che dire,ci siamo sposati il20/07/2025 è stato tutto da favola,perfetto ed indimenticabile... Siamo stati trattati da Re e da Regina... I nostri ospisti stupiti ed affacciati dal luogo e anche da tutte le pietanze... 15/06/2025: Terrible, terrible, I bring 6 people saying let's go to Uncle Pietro's.....What a bad impression...without a croissant at 9.30pm, the two old men at the entrance I tell them after 35 minutes but are we stuck at number 4? I'm sorry but wait for the croissants, as soon as I make sure of the truth I see at least 12/15 people who were skipping the number because they knew them, life, me friars Ca vavva..well let's never go back to those who have bad luck

10/06/2025: I've tasted about 7 different flavors, including Dubai chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut, chocolate, lemon, blackberry, and Amarena cherry. They're absolutely delicious. You can go for it with your eyes closed. Thank you.

16/07/2025: Wow che dire, mangio pizza da una vita e questa è a mani basse la più buona che io abbia mai provato, premio due spicchi gambero rosso non a caso! Metto 4 stelle perché purtroppo il luogo non è all’altezza della qualità del cibo i tavoli sorgono nel mezzo di un parcheggio e in una zona non bellissima, lo staff potrebbe migliorare il cameriere grassoccio si aggira per i tavoli con un fare fastidioso e che mette un po’ a disagio i clienti dovrebbe insegnare qualche maniera!

06/07/2025: If it was just the food I would have given five stars, but there are some aspects that disappointed me... the pastry shop does not have tables where you can eat in peace, so with the photonic heat that it makes you have to take your things and eat them standing outside. Very good cannolo, cassatina for my taste too sweet.

20/07/2025: This place was a surprise, with a typical Sicilian atmosphere and an outdoor garden in the summer... August 15th 2024, a pleasant experience. The food is surprising, combining tradition and innovation. Everything was well-made, the staff was pleasantly welcoming, and you felt at home... between a typical Sicilian meat appetizer and pasta with watermelon and julienned calamari... I'll want to return. Good value for money, relaxing atmosphere.

29/07/2025: Trattoria la Casalingada Nino Mannino has been a Catania classic since 1982. Many places have opened and closed, but Nino Mannino is a true restaurant professional. His dishes are authentic, carefully prepared, and feature quality produce from the local market. Mr. Mannino is a gracious host and always checks on the tables to see how the food is going. I recommend the fried fish, the pasta alla norma, and the involtini.
