14/03/2026: An unusual and surprising restaurant. The four brothers gave us a warm and simple welcome. Delicious food and fresh fish. The homemade desserts were delicious. They offered us a tasting of local grappa: excellent. I recommend this restaurant. We had a lovely evening.

13/03/2026: Recommended restaurant. Four of us had dinner, ordering a couple of appetizers (rustico and octopus, both excellent) followed by pasta alla norma. The fresh pasta is excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is generally very high. Prices are reasonable. The service is very pleasant. Definitely worth a try.

08/12/2025: It was our first time and we loved it. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The owner told us their story, passed down from grandfather to father and now sons. We ate two platters, and had a bit of a wait for the second one. Two excellent carbonaras. The dishes were beautifully presented.

11/01/2026: After a pleasant hike to Monte Intraleo, we stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance, trusting the positive reviews. The experience was truly excellent. We were a group of four friends at lunch on Saturday. Gaetano, the host, welcomed us warmly and gradually became more and more welcoming. The restaurant is charming and original, with every corner adorned with various elements that hark back to Sicilian tradition and evoke a vintage feel, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts everyone in a good mood. The chandelier dominating the room is spectacular, crafted from a wagon wheel and fitted with industrial-style lamps. Gaetano's pride and passion for his work shine through in his communication with customers and in the authentic flavors of his dishes. The menu is simple, without frills. He recommended and brought us an assorted antipasti platter with samples of fine cheeses, ricotta, cooked vegetables, and olives. Next, we ordered pennette with tomato sauce enriched with broad beans, peas, eggplant, and mushrooms. The dish proved to be perfectly balanced in flavor, exceptional because the quality of the ingredients transformed a simple dish into true comfort food. A triumph of garden flavors. Gaetano is certainly the restaurant's added value. At the end of the meal, he offered us traditional sweets, and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation over liqueurs and coffee. 10/01/2026: A chance discovery that left us more than satisfied. The owner, Gaetano, is a fantastic person: welcoming, kind, funny, and above all, an excellent cook. We ate and drank wonderfully, and the place was tastefully decorated and well-maintained. For me, beautiful places always reflect the soul of those who run them, and I must say that the beauty of this place depends very much on the person behind it. Well done, Gaetano, and thank you for welcoming us at the last minute.

04/10/2025: Great lunch here on a Saturday afternoon when not many restaurants are open. Portion sizes are large and well priced. Seafood is delicious and cooked with great expertise. We will be back.

01/03/2026: Four friends and I went there on February 10th. To start, and this is a nice touch, we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco :) The meal was excellent, especially the homemade desserts—a real treat! Even though we only ordered one main course and one dessert, the owner, who is incredibly friendly, offered us a delicious homemade Limoncello. We highly recommend this restaurant.

20/01/2026: Excellent experience at Pizzika Pizzeria in Mascalucia! Fast and punctual service, attentive and organized staff. Pizzika is highly recommended for those looking for gluten-free and lactose-free options, with great care and quality. The pizzas are well-leavened, light, and highly digestible, a sign of carefully selected and expertly prepared ingredients. The restaurant is new, elegant, and very clean, perfect for both a casual evening and a more relaxed dinner. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is meticulously maintained, refined, and pleasant, ideal for both casual dinners and special occasions. The true strength, however, remains the cuisine: dishes prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients, carefully presented, and capable of satisfying even the most discerning palates. Each course demonstrates the passion and expertise that characterize this restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience. I will certainly continue to frequent it with great pleasure: never change a winning team.

08/02/2026: We ate at La Curva in Capumulini, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The quality of the food was poor, and the service didn't meet our expectations. The Catalan salad, which came with the appetizers but which no one specifically ordered, consisted mostly of tomato and red onion. It cost €62.30, which doesn't justify the decent quality and quantity of lobster. The mixed fried fish was cold and foul-smelling, while the sardines a beccafico and the battered cod were cold and tasteless. The Venere pasta was overcooked and lacked any flavor of bottarga, the main ingredient in this dish. Given its predominant flavor, I would have expected it to dominate the rest, but this aspect actually faded into the background given how overcooked the pasta was. In the lobster pasta, the flavor of lobster was a vague and distant memory. The caponata was truly inedible, a complete heresy for a Catanese, and the sweet and sour salmon was awful. The sea green linguine was decent, but neither good nor bad. However, there were a few dishes we enjoyed, such as the tonnarello with truffle and the Savarin, which was of the highest quality, so kudos to the pastry shop where they purchased it. Unfortunately, the liqueurs and coffee were not offered, and, while not required, that was our deluded expectation. In conclusion, our experience at La Curva a Capumulini was very disappointing, and we can't recommend this restaurant, or at least we doubt we'll return.

27/12/2025: A truly welcoming and pleasant typical Sicilian restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions generous. We also appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, who were quite prompt despite the restaurant being crowded. The dessert was excellent. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back very soon!

21/12/2025: The pizza was very good. We took the clasic ones and were very satisfied with it- both the dough and sauce were good. The prices were quite low. On the downside- the waiter forgot about us, and we waited quite a long time 😕 Anyway, I would come back

19/11/2025: Great pizza made in a beautiful oven. We had it right across the street from our apartment. They open after 7:30 PM and make fantastic Neapolitan-style pizza. Of course, we were customers every night.
