07/04/2024: The one in Belpasso (Etnapolis) has always been the best OWW in the Catania area. The difference has always been made by the staff as they are capable, professional, good-looking, very sociable but not intrusive and who believe in their work. the rest is completed by the very high quality of the raw materials and the excellent preparation of the cuisine. Large rooms Ideal for families and anyone who wants to spend a cheerful evening. Possibility to play at the end of the meal with a varied variety of board games. Five-a-side football, carom and giant screen complete the setting. In my opinion, the choice of beers offered is limited but very suitable. Medium-high prices but you pay for the quality!!! Checking the green pass and all the procedures required during this pandemic. Good fun

Family-run place that makes you feel at home with abundant and excellent quality.
The cassatelle (horse meatballs with pistachio) are a must try.
When other places change, in prices, quality and products, Mantellina remains the same: Excellent!

06/04/2024: Don't hesitate to pass through the door of this small traditional restaurant! Magnificent surprise, it's family-friendly, you eat on a bench with a plastic glass but you are in the ideal place for Sicilian street food!
The welcome is great and you will feel at home, with excellent value for money as well.
30/03/2024: We stopped to try the famous horse meat and were not disappointed. The meatballs were very tender and all the preparations were very tasty but not heavy to digest. We also tried the famous stigghiola, if you are not used to it I recommend adding chilli pepper to tone down the "intestine" taste

03/04/2024: Bad because immoral cannot be said by convention; on a trip (a disastrous trip, regardless) with the school, this was the place chosen for the lunch stop; Well, there are about fifty of us in total. Well. Everyone was served, everyone in their advance payment included a - not even of excellent quality - meal with low quality products. Everyone, I was saying, except me. Well, the waiters didn't realize that there was one student among the many who would be left with an empty stomach. Poor star, he must shout, it's not the waiter's job to make sure he serves everyone and therefore provides his service and his professionalism and credibility as a worker and restaurant business. And imagine, I wasn't too hungry and I didn't even care about eating that dish; but it gets on your nerves enough that you don't pay attention to customer care. Especially when he chose that venue months before (indirectly, and it shows, but he chose it and paid for it). How sad. A lot.
