My experience at the Al Monterosso pizzeria and restaurant in Zafferana Etnea was positive. I ordered a pizza capricciosa, which impressed me with the quality of the ingredients and the impeccable cooking, fragrant and well-balanced. The space is spacious, with well-spaced tables that allow you to enjoy the evening in peace. The wait staff also deserves praise: friendly, attentive, and quick service. The only drawback is the parking, which isn't particularly convenient; you have to leave your car in the narrow side streets. Overall, however, an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy a good pizza, even with a group, in a welcoming setting.

We had dinner with my girlfriend and I have to say that everything was delicious. I had the porcini mushroom appetizers, which were really good, with generous portions. The desserts were also excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

A wonderful experience. A welcoming pizzeria/trattoria with friendly and professional staff. We ordered the pizza and were pleasantly surprised by the soft, delicious dough and the top-quality toppings. We'll definitely be back.

12/06/2026: During our vacation, we found this little pizzeria during an evening exploration walk. We had dinner here twice, both times we managed to sit at the inside counter facing the oven - it was great to wait for the pizza in this quiet peace and then eat it. The dough is very delicious, thin and crispy. It was a new and delightful experience, because we had not eaten this type of pizza before. We found well-chosen flavor combinations here, and the quantity was just enough to give a pleasant feeling of satiety. Locals also eat here, and judging by the reactions, it can be said that they are returning customers who really love this place. We had kind, polite service, I recommend it wholeheartedly 🤗🌞

08/06/2026: Nice location, friendly staff, the platters are very good, the spritzes are excellent but too expensive (Hugo Spritz at 10 euros).
