We stumbled upon "Fisharia" by chance one Saturday for lunch, and it was a delightful surprise.
The dishes are truly delicious, and the wine is excellent, pairing perfectly with our choices.
The owner's friendliness and warmth are definitely an added bonus. We had the pleasure of chatting with her, making the experience even more authentic and enjoyable.
We also really appreciated the kind gesture of letting us try the delicious beccafico sardines: a small touch that makes all the difference.
A place definitely worth a stop, highly recommended!

A great restaurant in Catania! Fishiaria delights, above all, with its fresh seafood and authentic Sicilian cuisine. The dishes are very well prepared, the portions are generous, and everything is beautifully presented. A big plus is the friendly and helpful service, which creates a truly welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit!

I visited trusting that the objective evaluations based on Google reviews suggested it was a decent place, but overall, it is not a restaurant that is satisfactory for the price. The raw seafood mixed plate was edible, and the sea bass dish was also decent, but the seafood soup was the worst. It was so salty that I couldn't tell if I was eating seafood or just stuffing myself with salt. I ordered it to have the broth, but it was practically just saltwater and not even edible. I have no intention of visiting again.
The food was delicious, the prices were hmm... for 5 people it cost us over 100 euros, with a place setting of about 12 euros added.

The food is excellent, everything is fresh and delicious. One of the waiters is very nice and speaks Polish. I recommend Lux.

The atmosphere was lovely. We had mussels with pepper and tuna with red onions. The tuna was delicious, but the onions were perhaps a little too vinegary.
