14/04/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying, we booked a 5:00 PM dinner for two, one of whom was celiac. Despite the short notice, they were able to serve us excellent dishes, including gluten-free options, minimizing the difference between the dishes. The portions might be considered small, but given the complexity of the preparations and flavors, they're considered adequate. Everything was more than excellent, including the recommended wine.

17/07/2026: Don't miss it!! Kindness, professionalism, quality ingredients, and...everything is delicious! The pizza is superb, even for those with sensitive stomachs. Reasonable prices, plus the fresh mountain air above the city. Highly recommended.

16/07/2026: Exactly the sort of unfussy Osteria I love. It gets 5 stars for the fresh porcini salad. There is no way to describe the deliciousness except to go there and eat it. Service was delightful - our waitress spoke excellent English and was able to guide us to a wonderful selection of food and wine. But seriously, the porcini salad. Maybe the best dish of our whole trip.

12/06/2026: I am replying to your comment on Mrs. Valentina Buglio's review (who must have been blocked so as not to reply)...we only asked politely if the children's cutlets could arrive first since she said that the wait would be long and we would have waited without making any problems...tell her things clearly...about the meat I only wrote that it was a bit tasteless which does not mean that it was bad but not superlative either (a term never left our mouths) we said it was good when the boy (I think the older brother is very kind unlike the other) asked us, because indeed once it was seasoned it was...

07/06/2026: 2 stars only because the pasta was good... The meat was tender but tasteless... The grilled vegetables were equally good... One of the waiters was very superb... He couldn't advise us... He didn't give us time to choose, so much so that we were confused and laughed sarcastically as if to make fun of us... So much so that when we said "explain to me what the problem is" he left our table and thank goodness... At least the other guy was very kind... Even the children's cutlets arrived quite a while later and they had no taste at all, the meat seemed more like an omelette... the breading was quite thick and invisible... Too thick... anyway, we went there by chance, first and last time...

03/03/2026: Thanks to Vincenzo, we enjoyed two excellent American barbecue specialties: ribs and His Majesty the Brisket, which was fantastic!!! Not to mention the appetizers, side dishes, and desserts (I don't want to reveal the surprises)...all homemade, which is hard to find in a restaurant, absolutely worth trying!!!! PS: It's an understatement to say it feels like home, or even more so!!! At home, you don't have a chef cooking... thanks Vincenzo!

06/07/2026: The wait for the pizza was over 50 minutes. The seafood pizza was very good, the Oro Verde pizza had dried-out mortadella and buffalo cheese, which was hard and dry, and when cut, had the consistency of feta cheese, not melting soft cheese, and the lasagna had no trace of meat.

23/06/2026: We stopped for lunch on our way down the mountain, choosing at random and not wanting to eat something from a rotisserie or even the tourist restaurants near the Rifugio Sapienza. We were pleasantly surprised by both the welcome and service and the quality of the dishes we ordered and that were recommended. The price was in line with the quality, and there was a variety of wines to suit all tastes! Thank you, we'll be back!

10/07/2026: Loooooved this hotel so much. Nature overload. Great pool. Amazing service - everyone is lovely and fun. Wish they had some more chill food options for room service (pizza etc) but that’s my only criticism. I can’t wait to come back here !

22/06/2026: We stayed here for the first day of our honeymoon. Our experience has been amazing, especially the food in this hotel is really great. The pizza we ate and the dessert were unbelievable. I think the room we stayed in was also really authentic and nice. If you want to also explore Etna, it's not really far away. That's what we did. We had a really nice starting breakfast here, also really really nice, and we really felt like we were taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a wine resort. It was great

18/07/2026: Very nice for both events and normal dinners, I highly recommend it, but before the pizza was better because they had a wood oven, while now they have an electric oven and it has lost a bit but still recommended
