08/10/2025: I've been a customer for many years, and I'm usually willing to travel 35 km there and back to enjoy their arancini. I recommend trying their pastry shop and cafeteria, but especially their delicious arancini!! I love Sicilian pastry shops and cafeterias, but their arancini are, in my opinion, the best and freshest in the entire province!! I also recommend trying their delicious gelato and granitas in the summer. I recommend this bar to everyone!! And a special thanks to the owners and their families.

02/11/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for years and have always had a good experience. The service is excellent, the dishes are authentic, tasty, and of excellent quality. I returned today after about a year and was very disappointed. The staff was small and confused, and the dishes were of poor quality, especially the two starters, which were unfortunately terrible. I don't know if it was a general decline or a one-off. I don't think I'll travel far to check it out again. I just recommend going back to the old kitchen and increasing the dining room staff. A real shame.

28/09/2025: This place was recommended by several people. The pizza experience was quite good; if it weren't for the rest, I would have given it 4/5 stars. What lowered the average was the lack of clarity regarding both the reservation and the service. I called to make a reservation and was told that the table would be occupied by other customers starting at 8:00 PM and would be free as soon as it became available. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 PM and, after informing the staff of our arrival, we waited patiently. While waiting at a convenient table outside, we saw our designated table become available at 9:45 PM, but they didn't seat us until 10:00 PM, the time listed in their reservation book. Once seated, we ordered appetizers and pizzas. We chose "peeled potatoes" from the menu and expected them to be the actual potatoes, but instead, they delivered classic French fries. Which in itself isn't a big deal; the problem lies in pointing it out to the waitress, who replied, "These are potatoes with their skins on. When you fry them, the color of the skins has faded, but they're still there," which left us very perplexed. As I said at the beginning, the pizzas are quite good; the problem lies in the lack of clarity in communication. There's nothing wrong with saying "we're out of potatoes with their skins," but what's more annoying is the attempt to mock us, as if we'd never seen potatoes with their skins. I'd come back to try other pizzas; I hope I can change my mind about the rest.

30/11/2025: I changed my mind. Over the years, the service has changed, much more attentive and helpful, lively, smiling, and friendly. The cocktails are made with good-quality spirits, the food is very tasty and fresh, everything here has its own charm.

06/11/2025: Fantastic bar with great cocktails and a warm, welcoming atmosphere :). We had an amazing appetizer platter, everything was delicious! High-quality ingredients, don't hesitate! We would have liked to order main courses but were quite satisfied with the platter (we shared it between two).

26/10/2025: A family-run trattoria, unassuming but with truly excellent food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try the nduja bombette (or ravioli with ham). The homemade desserts are also excellent.

11/10/2025: We love it. We stumbled upon it three years ago by chance, looking for a place to eat, and despite its modest appearance, instinct told us to stop. The lady cooks like a pro: pajata, truffle ravioli, and bombette stuffed with anduja and provola cheese... Everything is super homemade and delicious. And the gentleman is incredibly friendly and welcoming; he spoils us with a drink, even a non-alcoholic one for my son, and always has a kind word for everyone. We hope it never changes, and I'm a little sad to write this review for fear it will be overrun by tourists, but they truly deserve it.

13/11/2025: An obligatory stop for anyone passing through Aci Castello or for anyone who simply wants to go, whenever they want, to eat well. Nice, family-run, very tidy and clean place located in the center of Aci castello. The Chef's cuisine embraces the Sicilian tradition, menu for all tastes with abundant dishes, particular and unforgettable flavours. He uses an excellent dough for the pizza which results very digestible with a very good seasoning (I took the Sbarretta, delicious). Very fresh fish dishes (I took one of their specialities, the "Ionian fried", with a crunchy pastry, fried fish and courgettes on a bed of SUPER salad!) DOC wines (the prosecco was excellent). I also had the opportunity to taste the Commendable first courses from the chef. The dessert was also very good, I took the hot heart, super soft and chocolaty. The cocktails prepared by qualified and very friendly professional barmen. Kind, helpful, hospitable staff, very professional, attentive to customer care and fast. The place allows also a recreational activity: "the game of chess". What can I say, an experience that I would do again and propose to anyone looking for a place where you can eat well at a good price with impeccable service in an enchanting place like Aci castello. Highly recommended!

19/11/2025: Every Sunday we go to the trattoria da Alfio with my family, I can only and exclusively say EVERYTHING GOOD 🐟🦐🦞🦀🦑🐙🦪🦞🍤 from the appetizer to the second course....but above all HUGE courses, the strong point of this restaurant/trattoria...the pasta allo scoglio 😍😍😍 EXCEPTIONAL!!!..
