29/07/2025: Excellent family friendly restaurant. All fresco seating in a relatively quiet side street. Being just a little off the main drag, Via Maqueda, improves the quality and value. The octopus salad was excellent, as was the pasta alla Norma. The portions are on the small side so don't be afraid to order starters. The pinze (type of pizza) were also delicious and filling. Didn't have any dessert. Recommended! ***Update**** Having had pasta alla norma in other restaurants this week (I'm very partial) I can upgrade my review to 'exceptional'. I haven't had better yet.

25/06/2025: For lunch with friends, we took 1 course each, I personally took the fisherman's appetizer which was very good and super abundant, I also tasted other dishes and I must say that they were all very good, the service was also excellent, enriched by the friendliness and kindness that distinguishes the people of the south and the people of Santa Teresa di Riva, thank you

03/08/2025: Non si comprende la tipologia di ristorante. Si propone come ristorante greco-pugliese ma non offriva nè la pita nè le orecchiette. Una delle cameriere scontrosa e per nulla cordiale, l’altra, la più anziana, cordiale e gentile. Ambiente senza climatizzatore, tempi di attesa lunghi, prezzi non bassi e polpo immangiabile: sembravano gli pneumatici di un’auto ad Agosto dopo 12 ore sotto il sole cocente.

20/07/2025: We love this place, it's a small space with tables inside and some places on the street and in a tiny backyard. However, the food is exquisite and also unusual: this restaurant specialises in dishes from Puglia and Greece, as I understood thanks to a romance. The interior is simple, dark, but relaxing. The service is really nice, honest and hard-working people. You definitely need to book in advance. If you do so through a platform, specify where you would like to have a table (inside or outside). Try the squid stuffed with feta.

03/07/2025: every now and then you end up in a place by chance and it immediately becomes a place of the heart. we were enchanted by the food, the atmosphere and the sweetness of our waiter, who immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. it is at the end of a little street, it is in the middle of nowhere, but when you get there you immediately understand that it was worth it. exquisite meat, embarrassment of choice, relaxing atmosphere and prices that are unbelievable. a beautiful discovery!

29/07/2025: Delicious food, with generous portions. We chose the set menu (for two people), which includes an appetizer (we forgot to take a photo), but also includes a platter of cured meats, caponata, parmigiana, fresh ricotta, breaded eggplant, peppers, and zucchini, panelle, and battered potato croquettes. First courses: spaghetti with sauce and pieces of meat... busiate pasta with mushrooms, sausage, and cream. Second courses: sausage, pork, veal, and breaded roast. All this for €25 per person, including drinks (water, Coke, etc.).

27/07/2025: Delicious and plentiful food... The owners are kind and helpful. They even gave us a nice complimentary plate of excellent grilled pancetta. They also cater to celiacs.

02/06/2025: I absolutely recommend this place! Santa Cristina Gela is a beautiful small and beautifully situated village. There is not much to do, but the people are super friendly and the town has a nice atmosphere, also thanks to Albergo Belvedere! We stayed here after the first stage of the Magna Via Francigena and the owners Giovanni and Mimma welcomed us very warmly. Giovanni is also a good chef and we enjoyed both the delicious dinner and the energetic breakfast. This place completely recharged me to be able to complete the second tough stage of the Magna via. Giovanni and Mimma, it was very nice to meet you and thank you for the good energy during our Magna via. Grazie Mille !

26/05/2025: Great hospitality from Giovanni and Mimma. Highly recommended as a stopover when walking the MVF. The food is exceptional, the cannoli and ricotta the best I’ve ever had.

15/07/2025: Home cooking, the kind that's healthy and easy on the stomach. So many appetizers, all delicious, you could almost stop there. But do you want to pass up the first course? That's also very good. And the mixed grill? Charcoal-grilled. The wine might be better, but I suggest mixing it with soda water. The price? Quite political, around €35 or a little more.

22/06/2025: Spectacular, everything recommended by our friends. It surprised us for its authenticity, for its goodness. Both the phenomenal pizza a ruota di carretto and the menu. Everything of their own production. The cost is negligible. Highly recommended, Mr. Vincenzo, very kind.

02/08/2025: Excellent pastry shop in Petralia Sottana (PA). The owner is extremely kind and hospitable. They offer both traditional Sicilian and local products. I recommend trying the cheesecake and the ricotta and coffee pastry, which you can only find here. The Sicilian cannoli are also very good.

11/07/2025: Un posto da scoprire con l'aiuto dello staff che riesce ad accompagnarti in un percorso eno gastronomico della cucina locale anche con piatti non presenti nel menù che però appagano sia lo stomaco che lo spirito. Tutto con cordialità e simpatia. È un peccato soggiornare a Trapani e non farsi un giro in via Garibaldi al Gral Lounge Cafe' dove si possono gustare anche solo degli aperitivi strepitosi. 29/06/2025: Friendly welcome but the rush of the waiters who take your plate away from you while you're eating is also not great, the quality/price ratio is not exceptional, the location is very nice but we noticed that a lady was smoking freely inside the room, I'm asthmatic and immediately informed the staff of the problem who asked the lady to turn it off, her joke was (don't they know who I am?) said in a high-class and superficial way, understanding this the owners authorized the "lady" to smoke inside because she was provided with an ashtray and lighter, an unacceptable thing that I immediately got up and asked for explanations at the cashier they told me that it was normal and that the lady normally does it, after the answer I was speechless and immediately paid the bill without continuing my lunch. First and last time
