07/09/2025: We travel extensively and love good food. When we arrived this restaurant was recommended to us as being good and authentic, so our expectations were high! Without question, the service is exceptional. The food is the best we’ve eaten in all of Italy, not ‘just’ Sicily. Exceptional food, exceptional people, exceptional experience.

29/08/2025: We came to the restaurant on Tuesday evening and Mr. Franco welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. His son, the bearded one, is extremely knowledgeable about wine, so trust him! The dishes are original and all delicious. I highly recommend the seafood carbonara and the fried octopus with pepper jam as an appetizer. A fantastic experience, definitely worth trying if you find yourself on the island of Lampedusa.

06/09/2025: This restaurant is a real disappointment, although it is recommended if the waiter really does his job properly. The one who plays the boss is unpleasant, pretentious and disrespectful of the customer. It feels like the room is divided in two. On one side are the locals, on the other are the tourists... as for the quality of the food... It's flat and to top it all off the pasta arrived cold! Avoid

07/09/2025: Organization 0!! A restaurant that uses its reputation on Google reviews to mock customers. With such catastrophic organization, it's impossible to be rated so highly. We arrived at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. reservation. At 9:30 p.m., still no table, and we were told we had an extra hour to wait because it was full. Bravo, the organization!! Such rudeness in their actions that they don't deserve to be at the top of Google. We will never give this restaurant a penny and hope that everyone they've done the same to will do the same!

02/12/2024: Last year, on a one month sabbatical of Italy, I spent about 3 nights in Taormina and my first evening there was spent dining at TreQuarti Taormina. The gentleman who owns the space was so hospitable and made me feel so comfortable, made great conversation, and suggested one of my favorite dishes of the whole trip, swordfish rolls. (Don't knock it until you try it, it's a delicious take on fish.) Additionally, when I had first arrived to the quaint town, I struggled immensely to get my overpacked luggage down the stairs to my Airbnb, that happened to be across from this adorable restaurant. The owner of this restaurant helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs to my accommodations (in the blistering heat) and helped ease my embarrassment in front of his customers. I am so grateful for this interaction and the dining experience too. Definitely worth a visit to this spot!

08/09/2025: Got a table without reservation at 10pm. Very warm welcome, fast service. Authentic food, surrounded by Italian families. Avoid the tourist streets and visit this place instead!

06/09/2025: We got a nice pizza and Gluten Free pasta. The pasta wasn’t great so the server was super apologetic and nice about it. Overall the staff was attentive, but the atmosphere felt busy and like they needed more hands on deck.

23/08/2025: AMAZING! A very pleasant surprise. Everyone at the table enjoyed everything. We had appetizers, traditional first courses, and sushi, and every course was truly delicious. Compliments for the cuisine and also for the friendly and fast service. Recommended!

01/07/2025: don't go there if you're not from the area, Sicilians. (if you don't go there it's better). take a good look at the reviews of this dump, they are all LOCAL GUIDES, local people who have pumped up this place (unfortunately I trusted them) guys I'm not Sicilian and I'm not from the area, I don't care about creating hate, but the situation had gone too far, now I'll list everything. I'm here for work and I'm giving you a hand to avoid this negative experience. let's start with the adventure normal place, booked for 8.00/8.15 pm arrived on time. they make me sit at a table of my choice for 1 place because I was alone, from when I sat down about 40/45 minutes of waiting pass, they bring me some croutons salt and oil, then they ask me what I wanted to drink, no menu. I wait again for a good 40/45/50 minutes, when a lady from the kitchen arrives and tells me (without giving me a menu) "today we have pasta alla norma, chicken breast or steak, and a side salad or spinach". I thought "well this restaurant will have a different menu every day and so it will be like this for everyone" so I took pasta alla norma chicken breast and spinach. after almost an hour, I get this pasta alla “””norma”””, it was nothing more than overcooked tomato pasta with 3/4 pieces of eggplant, in my opinion supermarket sauce, but the thing I noticed is that the locals had the menu, and the food arrived immediately and much earlier.. after this questionable first course, about 40 minutes he asked me if I had anything else, I told him “yes I had chicken and spinach” the spinach arrived first, the spinach was made up of 80% garlic, inedible, a smell that made me want to throw up, and no guys I'm not joking, I took courage and ate some.., they were inedible. after 20 minutes the chicken breasts arrived, those were also very questionable unfortunately I didn't fuck up but I was too busy thinking that maybe I should leave, but I didn't. I leave the spinach there and I left some chicken because they were tough to eat, I go to the cashier to pay and I find a lady, she asks the old lady in the kitchen "what did the boy take?" and I to help "ah if you want I'll tell you what I took" she "no don't worry it's that she knows the numbers by heart" she clearly didn't trust. truly a scandalous place, guys don't trust the 5 star reviews because in this place the food is really bad, I don't know if they treat all those strangers from their land so badly, the fact is that I've been here for 2 weeks for work, and I've always found super nice people and I've always eaten well every day/evening, this was the only place where I had this bad experience where I even felt mocked, by all the ladies who work in this restaurant. total paid 1 water 1 first 1 second and side dish €23 absolutely to avoid

05/05/2025: Clean place, welcoming, quick and impeccable service even though it was full. With careful attention, especially to children, they give priority and the wait is reduced to a minimum. Abundant dishes and delicious. The owner passes through the raw cuts of meat before going to roast them.
