22/06/2025: Excellent seafood dinner, fresh food. The raw and cooked appetizers were delicious! Seafood risotto and home-made swordfish and eggplants were delicious.

12/06/2025: La Solitaria is a true gem for those who love fish, but it is also and above all a story of family and passion. From the first moment, you feel welcomed in a clean and warm environment, almost like at home, with a wonderful terrace that takes you straight into a mix of history and love for the sea. At the entrance, the beautiful boat as a counter could not be missing. The very fresh food, prepared with care and love that can be perceived in every dish. The quality is excellent, and every bite tells a story of authentic flavors. The first courses are superb. I, in particular, had the pleasure of tasting spaghetti with limpets, mauro and cherry tomatoes that were a symphony of flavors: simply perfect. Everything, really everything, was exceptionally good. In short, La Solitaria is a place to absolutely recommend and to return to. It is not just a restaurant, it is an experience where the freshness of the sea combines with the warmth of a family that puts its heart into everything it does.

01/06/2025: Esperienza straordinaria. Finalmente una cena a Palermo in zona Cala, degna di essere ripetuta e immagazinata in memoria a lungo termine. Prenotazione 48 ore prima e disponibilità del tavolo subito all'arrivo. Antipasto di ostriche alta qualità, con tartare di gambero rosso, passion fuit e peperoncino. Una delizia assoluta. Fritto misto di calamari, calamaretti e gamberi ottimo e asciutto, Non ho gradito, però, l'inutile maionese di accompaganmento, industriale e aromatizzata con qualcosa che non ho gradito. Ma sembra che la moderna tendenza obblighi a mangiare il fritto di pesce con la maionese. Per fortuna c'era mezzo lime. Cuscus con pesce ottimo anche se il vero cuscus incocciato mano si mangia solo in pochi posti in Sicilia. Perdoniamo. Due dessert molto ben eseguiti e, ovviamente, fatti da loro e non industriali. Servizio impeccabile e gentilezza da vendere. Per esempio hanno portato - senza chiederli - i fazzolettini imbevuti al limone per pulire le mani, mentre in un altri ristoranti vicini non ne conoscono nemmeno l'esistenza. Cinque stelle anche se qualcosa è migliorabile, per esempio il coperto comprendente tovaglie e tovaglioni in carta o TNT e posate abbastanza usurate.

19/06/2025: This was the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life. The carbonara was cooked to perfection, very tasty. The atmosphere is wonderful and so are the waiters. Everything was perfect. When we arrived at the restaurant we had no idea it would be so wonderful. I would go back a million times. The rose wine recommended by the waiter was also excellent.

Procedo con ordine: antipasto cotto di mare, fritto così e così, spaghettoni al gambero rosso e ravioli ripieni di gambero rosa eccellenti per la qualità del gambero. Dolci tunisini, 2 torte gelato e un sorbetto nella media. Ottima bottiglia di grillo, rapporto qualità prezzo alto: 200€. Servizio cortese e garbato, un’unica osservazione quando si cambiano le posate che correttamente vengono portate su un tovagliolo, posizionandole, bisognerebbe avere dei guanti o per lo meno toccare solo l’impugnatura ,non mettere le mani sulla lama e sui rebbi. Sgradevole, non ho fatto commenti per non mortificare. L’aspetto positivo è che è gestito da giovani.

25/06/2025: We discovered this place purely by chance while rambling through the back streets of Palermo. We stopped for coffee and cake and I'm so pleased we did. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the cake was delicious - baked by one of the staff's mother apparently! A delightful place - so pleased we found it!

21/05/2025: I know and frequent places like this, so I know that I pay for craft beer, and that's fine... good and I pay for it, even if it's lukewarm and not cold as beer commands. But... not only not accompanied by chips or peanuts or popcorn, (on €28 of beers, 30 cents are nothing) to our order of chips (a few) and mayonnaise in a dwarf bowl...we ask for a little more mayonnaise...and in the bill we notice that they charge us €0.5. I'm speechless, as I told the boy it's not for the 50 cents... but in my life I've never paid for a little more mayonnaise. It's strange that they didn't charge me for the 5 minutes of IQOS recharge... Terrible marketing choice....for 50 cents you've lost customers and paid for terrible advertising. ad maiora

13/07/2025: One of the best gastronomic experiences of this trip. Haute cuisine blended with traditional cuisine in an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent. The restaurant manager guided us and advised us throughout the meal. We tried fresh oysters, a starter with raw shrimp on a bed of bread with ricotta, the best fish pasta dish we've ever had, and a tuna tartar with a superb sauce. The best part was when we asked him if he had hot chocolate for dessert, and he offered us a spectacular bar with 70% Criollo cacao, accompanied by a sweet wine that made the moment a wonderful memory.

12/07/2025: I loved this restaurant! Had a blast with their black pork ragú pasta, their wines recommendations, and please if you go, you have to try their blue berries cheese cake. You can thank me afterward.

17/07/2025: From sweet to savory, everything is delicious and fresh. Low prices. I recommend taking out the cannoli; they'll leave the cream aside for you to fill later. The staff is friendly and smiling.
