30/03/2025: Var i Biancavilla søndag eftermiddag. Byen virkede helt lukket. Søgte på GoogleMap efter en restaurant. Fandt denne, som havde de bedste anmeldelser. Vi blev budt velkommen af tjeneren, der mødte os i gårdhaven. Trådte efterfølgende ind i den mest "anderledes", ubeskrivelig rustikke og hyggelige restaurant. Blev mødt af stor gæstfrihed fra tjener og vært. Der var rockmusik - lige efter vores smag - på anlægget. Super betjening og ypperlig mad. Ingen ventetid. Alt var fantastisk til prisen. Værten havde virkelig skabt sit "livsværk". Han nød virkelig at være der og nød at servicere os kunder. En unik oplevelse, som alle bør prøve.

21/02/2025: We ate at this restaurant twice, for dinner, after a walk in the area to admire the lava flow. If the food is really good and tasty (fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and spinach, horse meatballs, bruschetta, pork rib and sausage), the welcome and friendliness of Gaetano, the owner, are an added value of well-being and positivity, which made us spend a very pleasant evening, between taste and amiable conversation. Furthermore, the environment is very characteristic, created from the stable of Gaetano's grandparents' house and furnished with ancient objects, artistically adapted and painted, such as a decorated wagon wheel that functions as a chandelier. Needless to say, we had a good time. We will definitely be back.

27/02/2025: Found by chance, the Sottocastello restaurant is the place you don't expect. Beautiful panoramic view, good first courses, very good second courses with meat. Excellent quality/price ratio. Advised.

30/10/2024: Our wedding at the Casale was a dream, and it was for everyone, spouses and guests! Giusy, Francesco and their staff were impeccable professionals, organized in a superlative way. The food of exceptional quality, combined with the organization and a wonderful location, made our wedding unforgettable, even for our guests, who still today, months later, continue to talk about it

11/04/2025: On holiday in the area for a spring weekend with the family we booked for dinner at this restaurant by searching on Google. Wow. I can only say wow. Everything was great and perfect. Tasty, fun, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Honorable mention for the risotto and the ice cream cone. Excellent prices, in fact I would say almost low, compared to the quality presented. I have rarely left a restaurant so satisfied. Compliments to the staff.

10/04/2025: Amazing food 🙌🏻 probably the best tuna steak we have ever eaten. And if you love prawns (and don’t mind they are raw), you have to try spaghetti with prawns 🦐 Very kind staff, great view of marina.

15/03/2025: There were 3 of us who arrived, they left us the menus and after a few minutes they took our orders: we chose 3 busiate with 3 different condiments; the waitress turns up her nose and says that 3 all different is a problem because then the "chef" complains. Annoyed, she calls a second waiter who takes charge, much kinder. Good busiate, a little less seasoning, too impregnated with oil. €39 for 3 people good price.

12/04/2025: Zalige terras met een fenomenaal zicht. Zeer leuke bediening door de vrouw van de chef kok. Smaakvolle pizza’s en een bruchetta van het huis. Als afronden kregen we nog een huisgemaakte amandellikeur

05/04/2025: We were quite unsure to go there because of the very different reviews. But we thought we’ll give it a try. Well… this was quite a trap. To start: the waitress was very friendly and we felt very much welcomed. Everything came very quickly, actually a bit too quick. They say they have a very nice view on Etna, which is not really true but that’s fine. About the food: unfortunately the food really wasn’t tasty at all. They tell you that’s it’s all homemade, Lasagne from the grandmother who helps them in the kitchen every day. I do have the feeling that this is a scam and actually not true. The Bruschetta is made in a mixer, more mashed than actual tomatoes and the bread is burned. The olives were quite old and soggy. The Lasagne was really bad I have to say. The meat inside was also more a mash, it felt like you eat a puree of meat. And there were peas inside, which I personally don’t like. The Spaghetti Carbonara tasted like plastic and old. The pizza was actually the best with the homemade bread. That actually tasted well! The tiramisu was very soggy. In the end they told us three times to give them a nice review and again told us about the grandmother. I have the feeling this is why they have such good reviews. You actually leave with a remorse leaving a bad review. But I really can’t recommend going there.

The quality of the pizzas is extraordinary: the dough is light and fragrant and the ingredients are very fresh. The staff is very kind and attentive, ready to satisfy every request immediately. The liqueurs are also absolutely worth trying!

31/03/2025: La bottega dei sapori is located in via Ficarazzelli n° 34, Misilmeri. It was a real discovery! Very kind and professional staff in the dining room, Salvo put us at ease with his advice on dishes and wine. Excellent quality of raw materials, D E L I C I O S F O O U R. Highly recommended!

18/10/2024: Beautiful, fresh and very good dishes, I would have liked to try them all! Not to mention the hospitality of the girls who made me feel at home, and made my experience in Lipari even more special. I will definitely come and visit you again!

16/10/2024: In the low season, it's a wonderfully quiet location on the Marina Corta because it's not right next to the other restaurants, but around the corner. Lots of fish and seafood dishes. Highly recommended tuna steak in pistachio breading. Plus baked/fried potatoes. We were surprised by the pasta with pistachio pesto! Really creamy, very mild, but very tasty. Slightly salty, really pleasant. Great type of pasta too. Friendly waitresses, attentive service. The price is high, but reasonable for good fish and good pasta. However, if you're looking for a selection without fish and seafood, you won't find much of it here. Most dishes are offered in this direction.

07/12/2024: I tasted the squid ink arancina. I truly found it to be the best I have ever eaten. The breading is superb. For me it's the TOP, ten heads above all the others.

18/11/2024: We had arancini and polpetta take away. They were all delicious 😋 It was busy at lunch time but nothing the ladies behind the counter didn't take in their stride. The polpetta were broccoli €3 for 2 The arancini were norma and we also had Ragu - €2.50 each They also have pasta dishes, which looked great, but we didn't try.
