Wonderful outdoor patio space off a main street. The food was exquisite and service was great!

A very good dish; the mussels were excellent, as were the grilled vegetables! Just one thing: as the son of a Sicilian, I've always eaten Caponata cold, and here it was served to me cold. It was very good, but I thought it would be served cold... The small homemade granita offered at the end of the meal was much appreciated! Thank you again!

Il Gambero Pazzo was hands down one of our favorite dining experiences in Catania! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and outstanding service. A huge thank you to Gabriella, Liliana, and Rita, who were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Special thanks as well to Jano, the manager and cook, whose kindness and passion for the restaurant truly shine through. The food was absolutely incredible. The pistachio scampi pasta was unforgettable, rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, and the octopus salad was fresh, tender, and beautifully prepared. Every dish showcased the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into making them. The ambiance is just as special as the food. The back patio is absolutely charming, with beautiful trees and twinkling lights creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. If you're exploring the old town of Catania, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Delicious food, wonderful people, and a beautiful atmosphere made for a truly memorable evening. We can't wait to come back.

Highly recommend - the outside area is beautiful and feels like an oasis out of the city. The seafood is incredibly fresh and well cooked - recommend the grilled Tuna in particular. One of our highlights in Sicily. It can be quite busy so I would recommend ordering ahead.

Dinner with friends in a location that pleasantly transports you back in time... We ordered the fish platter for €30 and €35 ​​per person: unfortunately, it lacks that extra something special... The staff are friendly, but the owner's constant presence and supervision slightly spoils the magical atmosphere of the place!
