27/03/2025: It's not the first time I come and every time I'm always very satisfied. Mr. Vaiola and his staff are really kind, there's a family atmosphere in the place, you feel at ease. The dishes are perceived as being cooked with passion, like at home. Those who come in always come back.

14/03/2025: Treat yourself to this restaurant if you want to eat where the actual residents of Ragusa eat. Great food (Veal is excellent) and homey/local vibes. 100% recommend.

29/03/2025: If you are near Capomulini, CHOOSE "L'ANTICA TAVERNA di Capomulini". You won't regret it, exquisite dishes, fresh fish, classic sensation of the flavor of the sea especially in the raw dishes, but also in the first courses, thanks to the prestigious chef. Very kind in service and welcome! Modest prices for the good food they bring.

Il locale è curato nei minimi dettagli, con un’atmosfera elegante e accogliente che rende il tutto ancora più piacevole. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: personale attento, disponibile e sempre con il sorriso, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con estrema gentilezza. E poi il cibo… una vera delizia! Ogni piatto è stato preparato con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità, presentato in modo impeccabile e con un equilibrio di sapori straordinario. Dall’antipasto al dolce, tutto è stato semplicemente perfetto. Un posto assolutamente da provare e in cui tornare senza alcun dubbio. Complimenti a tutto lo staff per l’attenzione ai dettagli e la passione che si percepisce in ogni aspetto. Super consigliato!

28/03/2025: We had dinner there last night, were impressed at cleanliness of bathroom, spacious table layout, and lovely service by Giuseppe! A varied menu, we had pizzas which were perfection 👌 local patrons surrounded us and we enjoyed seeing their sizzling meat dishes arrive and caraffes of Nero d avola to wash it all down with. We were offered complimentary coffee or liquers after our meal, a beautiful custom long forgotten in our home island Malta, so this was really appreciated. Great venue would certainly return for more !

30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!

18/03/2025: Trovo la loro cucina eccellente, piatti preparati con cura e rispecchiando la cucina tradizionale siciliana. Ho preso le stesse identiche portate prese la prima volta che sono andata e cioè polpette con il sugo e uovo in camicia e il sapore è rimasto invariato, dliziosi come il nome del ristorante. Come mangiare a casa i piatti della mamma o della nonna. La location bella e il personale gentilissimo. A parte si trova in pieno centro e accanto al teatro antico. Cosa volete di più.

08/04/2025: I was on holiday in Catania with my sister and my son...not knowing the place, we looked around on social media and were attracted to this place...if you happen to be in Catania you absolutely have to stop by here!! I had the pistachio pizza, my sister the dani pizza and my son the pistachio gnocchi... very generous portions and quality food! The friendly and kind service, we felt like at home!! Congratulations to all the staff!

20/02/2025: Positive experience, very small and welcoming place..opens at 1pm, welcomed with prosecco, we opted for a fried dish with two very tasty first courses, the fish was really good and fresh. Cooked with skill, really good cheese, pepper, mussels and lime, I had never tasted a similar combination, certainly not cheap but if the fish is good you can't complain about the price

16/02/2025: A friend took me there for lunch. The welcome with a glass of prosecco was an unexpected and very welcome touch of elegance. We took the house starter and saying "very good" is not enough. Particular combinations but for my tastes all spot on. The red Mazzara prawn melted in your mouth. The desserts were also delicious. A place where the love for good food shines through, where you experiment with fresh, local products. I will definitely go back.

16/03/2025: A very authentic local restaurant with a great atmosphere! The staff and the owner are very friendly, the food is excellent and cheap. I regret only that we visited it on the last day of our vacation, as we would definitely have returned!
