The dishes are anything but predictable, crafted with exceptional artistry and truly delicious. The staff is very friendly. There's an outdoor terrace where you're immediately greeted by a breathtaking view.

It's a very lovely place with many beautiful details, the service was very friendly and especially the food was very good and special. We had a blast (even if we couldn't get enough by the end) 🤣 From the appetizers to the petits fours, it was one surprise after another. Very pleasant service, beautiful plates and presentation. Fogo Alghero è uno di quei posti che ti colpiscono fin dal primo momento: un locale stupendo, curato nei minimi dettagli, capace di creare un’atmosfera calda, accogliente e unica nel suo genere. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con il sorriso, facendo sentire ogni cliente speciale. E poi il cibo… semplicemente straordinario! Dall’antipasto al dolce, ogni piatto è preparato con materie prime di altissima qualità e presentato con grande cura. I sapori sono autentici, intensi, e raccontano una vera passione per la cucina. Che si tratti di una cena romantica, di un pranzo tra amici o di una serata speciale, Fogo è la scelta perfetta. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere un momento di gusto e atmosfera ad Alghero!

30/07/2025: Esperienza indimenticabile, a partire dagli antipasti, a finire con i dolci super. Carne cotta alla perfezione e di alta qualità, antipasti lo stesso e dolci buonissimi. Da provare se si passa ad Alghero.

22/10/2025: This is truly the best ice cream I've ever had in Sardinia. Incredibly delicious! You really shouldn't miss it. And don't worry about the goat flavor. You'll barely notice it's goat's milk. Definitely try it!

20/10/2025: Timasù is a gem in the center of Baunei: an artisanal gelato shop with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. A refined atmosphere and friendly staff. Each flavor expresses Sardinia with simplicity and passion. Definitely worth a try.

25/09/2025: Lunch with a friend. We arrived and were escorted to our reserved table. The service was nothing short of perfect. The two very kind waiters introduced us to all the dishes they offer, as well as offering some wine recommendations. We were truly satisfied. The dishes were presented with originality, from the first course, which was a delirium of flavors, to the dessert. The cassata ice cream was truly delicious!! The place is clean and welcoming. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back. Compliments to the waiters and the chef and staff.

28/09/2025: A young, friendly establishment in a charming location just steps from the Obsidian Museum. The perfect place to unwind after a visit to Monte Arci and the museum. Good cuts of meat and cold beer.

23/09/2025: We just left the restaurant, happy with the small establishment we discovered, and definitely full from the excellent food! It's a bar, café, and restaurant, offering a small but authentic and satisfying menu (if you're a meat lover! And we are), with local, homemade products. The charcuterie and cheese platter was nothing short of exceptional, a unique and rare delicacy; the fried culurgioni served with pecorino cheese fondue, honey, and walnuts were mouthwatering! There are no first courses, but we didn't miss them. The second courses offer a fairly wide selection of meats; we opted for a beef tagliata with Iberian lard (I think) and garlic, which arrived on a smoking cast iron griddle, and it was delicious! We couldn't finish it, so they even gave us a take-away container. We have a 3-year-old with a picky appetite, yet he ate the whole burger! The atmosphere is pleasant, the music excellent, although I would recommend a different color for the lights (too cold), perhaps to reflect the warm yet professional welcome. All accompanied by a good red wine. Overall, an excellent experience, worth repeating. Congratulations to those who care for their local area.
