A wonderful discovery we stumbled upon during our visits to the various archaeological sites in the area. Osteria del Borgo is a small treasure trove that showcases the flavors of a spectacular region rich in history and tradition. The food is masterfully prepared by Chef Pierpaolo and well explained by Rita, his assistant. The Culurgiones are exquisite, not to mention the Sardinian desserts. Definitely worth returning for more ☺️

Adorable! I had to dine alone and came to this place on the recommendation of my host. I hadn't booked, but the owner found me a table anyway. The place is tiny, which is the best thing about it. Intimate and a little noisy, yet cheerful, I felt right at home! The food was sublime. For an appetizer, I ordered the house cured meats and cheeses, delicious, and for a main course, the culurgiones with guanciale. The service was attentive and authentic; the heart of Gallura was there. The myrtle liqueur they produce is a must.

It was a pleasant surprise, a welcoming place, fast service, very good food and I found courtesy and friendliness, if you pass near Tempio I recommend you stop and enjoy an excellent lunch

Every dish was a pleasant discovery: from the appetizer to the culurgiones, to the seadas, simply extraordinary. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, attentive, and always smiling, making you feel at home. A truly pleasant experience that we recommend without hesitation. We'll definitely be back!

We ate quite well. Worth noting are the traditional dishes like fried pasta and hard-to-find brains (I hadn't eaten them in ages). The broad beans with mint and the chjusoni were excellent. The service was friendly and professional.

My wife and I recently had lunch at Osteria del Borgo, and we can say it was a delightful discovery. It's a true Sardinian gem, where you can experience an authentic atmosphere and be greeted with great warmth. We received a warm welcome and, above all, enjoyed delicious traditional Sardinian food, prepared with care and attention. It was our first time there, and we relied on the advice of the lady who runs the restaurant: a perfect choice, as she was able to guide us through every course, getting everything right. We were truly satisfied with the experience and can only recommend it to anyone who wants to savor authentic Sardinian cuisine in a genuine and welcoming atmosphere.

We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by accident, on our way back to the airport from a vacation in Sardinia. We were truly surprised: a small restaurant with just a few tables in this village near Tempio Pausania, welcoming and well-designed, with an open kitchen and a small veranda in front where you can dine. The menu, displayed only on a blackboard, offers a few dishes, all traditional Sardinian, some cleverly and gently reinterpreted, without distorting the essence of the dish. Among the appetizers, the massa frizza is excellent, served classically with honey or alternatively with fava beans; the culurgiones are special, handmade by a woman from Ogliastra (so we were told) and expertly finished, topped with local porcini mushrooms; there are many main courses, we tried the pecorino cheese, excellent; excellent desserts, the Sardinian ones homemade, and a special seada! The wine list is good, with local wines. We ate very well and at a more than fair price. The owners are extremely kind, he in the kitchen, she among the tables. We will be back, next time not by chance!
