23/07/2025: A truly down-to-earth place, with friendly and very efficient staff. We didn't have to wait in line long, and the food was delicious and quick. Highly recommended if you're passing through, and definitely worth a try. Parking is available, although it's a short walk from the restaurant. Definitely worth a try.

23/07/2025: We went to eat there on a weekday, and as soon as we arrived, we had to get a number to wait for a table. We waited approximately 20 minutes, which is hardly anything considering it's a restaurant filled with locals. We ordered shrimp (which came in a serving of 4), cod (4 servings), fried squid and shrimp, octopus a la marinara, and mussels a la marinière. Everything was really good except for the cod, which isn't their strong suit. Finally, we ordered a glass of sorbet, and it was very good. All for €44, including the coperto and a water. We think we made a bad choice in the end, since the locals order pasta dishes that look and smell delicious, and come in a generous portion for €4. People usually order spaghetti with mussels. In short, what we get most is fried squid and shrimp, and spaghetti. So it's the best option to order. The quality-price ratio is very good, as the food is good and the price is not expensive at all. The service was excellent; we were served by a man who spoke English at all times. Without a doubt, if we returned to Taranto, we would return.

01/07/2025: Excellent pastries and coffee of real quality. I would also suggest a little more cordiality and kindness from the barmaids....saying good afternoon perhaps with a smile at the entrance doesn't cost anything, I don't think. Regarding table service (probably not provided) saying "the coffees are here" making us get up to get the cups and bring them to the table like McDonald's wasn't very nice. We needed sweetener or fructose sachets (absent both at the table and at the counter) barmaids absent at that time!! I will definitely return as always for the goodness of the products and for the kindness and cordiality of the other employees.

26/06/2025: A real surprise, visited at 12:00 on the hottest July day of the entire summer of 2022, it gave us freshness, taste and courtesy. I found the flavors of home in the lemon and mulberry granita, a vast assortment of desserts and the inevitable "rum babbà". Beautiful memories of the awards received by the pastry shop over the years and the history of the family. Congratulations for the "suspended coffee" the generous Neapolitan custom brought to beautiful Taranto

29/06/2025: I had a wonderful evening here the finest ingredients cooked to perfection, the lady was so attentive and gentle she arranged extra plates for sharing, positioned the fans to keep me cooled ,and played a wonderful playlist of soul music I'll definitely return

24/07/2025: Dinner for 4. The quality was undoubtedly excellent! The appetizers (six courses) cost €20, but they were mandatory for two (so already €40), not counting the tiny portions. Paying €40 for an appetizer and eating two cod meatballs, two seafood friselline, four fried mussels, and an octopus and potato dish that had roughly four pieces of octopus and two pieces of potatoes seems absurd and excessive to me. The first courses were normal portions but nothing exceptional (for the menu price of €16 and up...) To satisfy our hunger, we ordered fried calamari and shrimp (definitely good), but the portion was small. We left the restaurant craving pizza. The total bill was exorbitant for the quantity. Go elsewhere if you really want to eat.

25/07/2025: Cena fra amici, già dalla scorsa visita avevamo commentato che i prezzi erano lievitati ma, in questa ultima reunion purtroppo abbiamo constatato che anche la qualità, sia del servizio che delle materie prime era peggiorata. Le patate al forno come contorno alla carne arrivano insieme ai latticini. Il "ciccio" per accompagnare gli antipasti arrivano quando questi erano già terminati, con un costo non irrilevante. Gli arrosti misti erano immangiabili sia per la qualità della carne che per la modalità di cottura. È bene che il titolare sappia quello che avviene in cucina e in sala.

03/07/2025: Una experiencia inolvidable. Al principio, Ginosa no nos pareció una ciudad con mucho que ofrecer, hasta que por pura casualidad nos topamos con este hermoso y elegante restaurante. Tanto la comida como los vinos son de origen local. El menú es pequeño pero cuidadosamente seleccionado e incluye una refinada selección de platos de carne y pescado. La carta de vinos es excelente y ofrece combinaciones muy bien pensadas. Nos sentamos en un impresionante jardín rodeado de árboles, flores y exuberante vegetación: un entorno perfecto para una comida relajada y elegante. El servicio fue excelente: nuestra camarera fue una verdadera profesional: discreta, atenta y cálida. Los precios son muy razonables, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Francamente, podrían cobrar más, especialmente en comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona. Una sorpresa realmente agradable y un lugar que recomendaríamos sin dudarlo.

28/07/2025: Capitate per caso dopo una visita al quartiere delle ceramiche, avremmo voluto tornare anche i giorni successivi se non fossimo state troppo lontane. Da subito abbiamo percepito passione, orgoglio e proattività. Accoglienza ottima, servizio attento e premuroso, piatti con ingredienti locali di qualità, connubio perfetto tra tradizione e innovazione senza stravolgere troppo i sapori per voler creare quell' effetto che diventa poi spesso eccessivo e artefatto. Io in quello che ho mangiato ci ho sentito la terra, la passione e la voglia di stupire con garbo. Una nuova gestione giovane, attenta ai sapori del passato con uno sguardo al presente. Bravi!

27/07/2025: We found it by chance while visiting the historic center of Grottaglie, and it was a great surprise. We had a seafood-based meal: fried fish, warm seafood salad, a mussels with pepper, and meatballs in tomato sauce for our youngest. Everything was excellent, a 10 for the salad, but the other dishes were also top-notch. You can taste the fresh, quality ingredients. The welcome, with a burrata and sun-dried tomato focaccia and a taste of extra virgin olive oil, was much appreciated. Definitely a place I'll return to; I hope they never change.
