24/08/2025: Excellent place to taste and enjoy any dish

22/08/2025: An elegant restaurant, furnished in a modern yet refined style. The kitchen is open, tidy, and efficient. The dishes are exquisite, perfectly executed with quality ingredients. The seafood appetizers are delicious, as are the burnt wheat orecchiette, and the mixed fried fish is excellent. The desserts are also delicious: figs with zabaglione, almond focaccia. The service is efficient and casual.

13/10/2025: Our favorite part of Puglia! A delight from the main course to the dessert, including the wine. Everything we love about Italy, with a little something extra :) Go for it!

10/09/2025: Did not really know what we were getting but it was all delicious and authentic Italian. Host was lovely and engaging, and looked after us very well. Price was good and we were given a complimentary limoncello. Overall, very good and would recommend 👌

10/09/2025: Culinary-wise, the quality of everything we were served was very good. The chef is very attentive and a good salesman. However, the quantity/price ratio left something to be desired for some dishes. For example: the rib-eye steak was clearly under 300g, and the portion of Orichiette sold for €13 was smaller than a portion sold for €5 the day before in a restaurant in Taranto.

17/09/2025: Beautiful setting, well-decorated, excellent staff but not much of a smile on their faces, at least not the ones we encountered. EXCELLENT PASTRY, clean restrooms, and fairly reasonable prices. But... TOO LOUD!!!! It was very difficult to communicate without shouting. Of course, cups, glasses, and saucers make noise, but with a little more caution, the decibel level of the noise could be reduced by at least half. Anyway, having a drink at the counter and buying sweets is fine, but sitting at a table and exchanging a few words is difficult.

03/09/2025: TOP panzerotti! The best in Taranto, a city I've been visiting for over twenty years (my wife is from Taranto), and after enjoying the products of "CASA DEL PANZEROTTO" several times, I've decided to write a well-deserved review. Keep up the good work!

26/08/2025: The entrecôte was absolutely delicious ! Best meat I ever had. The sides and starters were really good too. I will definitely come back the next time I am in the region.

24/08/2025: The score is well deserved. Excellent service. Vegetarian appetizers with traditional dishes, each one better than the last. First mixed grill, where not only did I eat all the livers, but I wanted more. Very nice outdoor location with a view of the domes of the main church. We'll return for lunch to try the first courses.

13/07/2025: We had a wonderful meal at Osteria Due Mari in Taranto! The orecchiette with turnip greens and mussels were exceptional—flavorful, well-balanced, and authentic. The sautéed mussels were also delicious, with the perfect seasoning. A traditional and welcoming restaurant with truly excellent cuisine—highly recommended! My husband said: "I finally found Taranto mussels!"

11/07/2025: I happened upon this restaurant with a friend on the day of our return from a short vacation in Taranto. We booked via the app, and once we arrived, we found a familiar yet very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Niccolò, who helped us choose our dishes, demonstrating great professionalism and customer service. As for the food, we were impressed by the excellent quality of all the dishes, but I was particularly impressed by the grilled calamari! The produce was incredibly fresh (Niccolò himself confirmed it was the catch of the day), and it was perfectly cooked, leaving it tender and flavorful. The appetizer of hot and cold seafood was also remarkable, leaving us extremely satisfied. This restaurant offers a high level of quality at absolutely fair prices. It's a must-visit for all tourists who want to eat well and avoid being ripped off. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. Full marks!

11/10/2025: Don’t dismiss the restaurant because of its prime location. It is a warm family run place. All the dishes were perfect, the service was even better.

08/10/2025: Delicious meals: we tried the calamari and pasta. Everything was prepared with great taste, and the wine was highly recommended. I highly recommend it.

24/09/2025: I went to the grill restaurant: beautiful, refined, quiet atmosphere, excellent prices, excellent meat, attentive and friendly staff. A small note about the bombette, which were a bit below the rest of the meat, which was truly sublime (even the cooking). The bombette score: 6.5; the rest of the meat and side dishes score between 8 and 9. Recommended.

17/09/2025: I arrived at 11:10 PM, after maybe a 15-minute drive. I'm gluten intolerant, and I found this place, the comments, and my gluto app. I didn't eat much today due to work, inspections, etc., and it was closed. It was already closed, even though the hours said open until 11:30 PM, which was changed by this business 7 weeks ago, I think. And no, the hours and closing times don't match.
