22/03/2026: During one of our usual gastronomic explorations in Puglia, we ended up at Ritrovo degli Ostinati… and thank goodness they're stubborn, because it's definitely worth it!
The place is very well-kept and has something truly unique: it feels like eating inside a cave, with the typical exposed stone walls creating a warm and characteristic atmosphere.
The staff is kind and helpful, but above all, the food is truly excellent and the price is right.
In short, one of those places where you leave wanting to return. Highly recommended! 👍🏻
17/03/2026: Excellent restaurant in a historic area of Massafra, near the Church of Santi Medici. A custom-built restoration of vaulted ceilings and traditional dishes. Special wines from the Amastuola cellar, especially "Cento Sassi," 15.5% ABV, pair well with fava bean and chicory dishes, spaghetti with olive, caper, and tomato pesto and crumbled tarallo, and a meat and potato medallion. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Very good service.

14/02/2026: I've been there for dinner several times in the past few years, even celebrating a birthday, and I've always been satisfied. In my opinion, the place was elegant and very welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere.
This time, however, I noticed a decline compared to my previous experiences.
It was a pre-arranged dinner with a pre-determined menu; I didn't get to choose what to eat.
The appetizers were pleasant, however, but the sliced steak was lukewarm, poorly seasoned, and the meat was full of fat. A sorbet and a dessert followed.
The price honestly didn't justify the quality and quantity.
A shame.
Nothing to complain about the staff, who were friendly and very professional.

21/02/2026: The dishes have bold, distinctive flavors, and the quality of the ingredients is clearly evident. The appetizers are truly delicious: I especially recommend the chestnut with bacon—simply top-notch!
The meat is excellent quality, tender, and flavorful. The idea of bringing the grill separately so you can continue cooking to your liking was also greatly appreciated: a detail that truly makes a difference and demonstrates customer care.
The service is also excellent: attentive, courteous, and professional staff, with reasonable wait times.
Not to mention the desserts...
I recommend this place without hesitation... I'll definitely be back!

03/12/2025: Nice atmosphere and good pastries, but overpriced and unwelcoming. Every time you order something, the cover charge goes up by 50 cents. Two of us ordered two things, and we paid 4x the cover charge. Pure madness.

19/10/2025: Excellent experience. I found this trattoria by chance, passing through on a Sunday outing, and I think I was truly lucky.
A warm and courteous welcome, a simple, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. As soon as we sat down, we felt like we were at an aunt's house for Sunday lunch—a wonderful feeling of sincerity and care. The dishes represent local tradition, with excellent ingredients and truly exquisite homemade preparations. The portions are generous and more than satisfying. I recommend the selection of appetizers, with a special focus on the cheeses and flavored olives.
Affordable prices.
I really hope to return!

You can enjoy a good coffee at any time of day, accompanied by a pastry, cake, or croissant... in short, there's no shortage of choice. The drinks list is very good, with a variety of beers and spirits, and you can also grab a savory snack.
The place is perfect for business meetings or small parties, thanks to its spacious mezzanine equipped with private areas.
You can also sit on the outdoor veranda or, during the summer months, on the large, well-equipped sidewalk.
Donato is always available and ready to satisfy everyone's needs.

22/11/2025: We went to this restaurant with some friends and started dinner with a full appetizer, followed by pizzas. What can I say? Everything was simply excellent. Both the meat and seafood appetizers were rich, tasty, and beautifully presented. A pleasant discovery that we highly recommend.
