24/08/2025: A nice bar in the center of Palagiano. We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday morning, and it was unfortunately a bit crowded on a hot Sunday in August. However, the staff were friendly and the pasticciotti were delicious.

Everything is very retro, but the seafood dishes are exceptional and at the right price, which you wouldn't expect with that quality. 01/09/2025: ✨ A Hidden Gem – Café Marilu ✨ We happened to pass by the sweetest lady, Marilu, who runs her own little place with both a gelateria and top-quality espresso. We were immediately drawn in by the amazing aroma and taste. The espresso is absolutely perfect – just as it should be in Italy – and the gelato… well, it was so good that we simply had to get another. Everything is homemade from scratch, and you can truly taste the quality. The quality is outstanding, the prices are very fair, and you can feel the love and passion Marilu puts into her place and the dolce. Marilu runs the café herself together with her two daughters, and her warmth and charm make the experience even more special. For the gelato, we especially recommend the pistachio, almond, and tiramisu – but honestly, every flavor is soft, creamy, and full of taste. We’re from Copenhagen and are deeply impressed by the incredibly high quality. If you have the time and opportunity, stop by, say hello to Marilu – you won’t regret it! Who knows, maybe next year she’ll even have a pistachio farm – and if so, we’ll definitely be back to taste even more. 🌿🍨☕

19/04/2026: Very nice location, in the heart of Taranto. A stone's throw from the city center and the seafront. Innovative products and highly qualified staff.

12/04/2026: I found this place through an app. The place is well-kept with soft lighting, perfect for a post-evening meal. Excellent food, with excellent leavened products, as well as first and second courses. We had the "il siluro" as an appetizer, which is a kind of baked panzerotto covered with raw ham, and then we had the delicious "Sfera," which is actually a burrata wrapped first in a layer of Martina Franca capocollo and then in pizza dough, on top of another tuft of capocollo... A spectacle. Then we had a first course, the Assassina del mar piccolo, which was good, and then the desserts. We ate very well and the staff was friendly and attentive... Also a mention for the bread basket, where you can find, in addition to bread, focaccia and really good stuffed rolls... EVERYTHING TOP, I'll return.

12/12/2025: Friendly staff, cozy and clean room, comfortable bed. I had a bit of a wait in the restaurant even though there were only two other tables for dinner, but I ate well. Breakfast could have been better.
