09/04/2026: I stopped by at lunchtime for two pizzas and in the evening for dinner: antipasti, pasta and a magnificent dessert. The service was impeccable, really nothing to complain about – quick and very welcoming!

16/03/2026: The "Ritrovo degli ostinati" is objectively a charming and well-kept place. Sincere praise goes to the wait staff: extremely friendly, smiling, and welcoming. Unfortunately, kindness is priceless, and the dining experience was a complete disaster, made worse by an absolutely unjustifiable final bill. We started with two five-course appetizers for the modest sum of €15 each. Except for the eggplant roulade and the pulled pork puff pastry, which were considered "acceptable," the rest was beyond comment. We were served a very hard, bitter-tasting cheese ball that was literally impossible to swallow; a microscopic sample of fava beans and chicory; and a beetroot soufflé completely ruined by the stracciatella cheese placed on top, which leaked water and watered down the entire dish. The situation with the first courses was even worse. The "Pacchero degli Ostinati" (€12) was presented as nine half-paccheri, counted and completely unrelated to the sauce: a swill of stracciatella water, chopped pistachios, and chunks of mortadella (that tasted like a discount store) thrown on top haphazardly. Not to mention the "Special Plate" (€14): braised meat ravioli floating in another swill, the nature of which was unspecified, dusted with an unknown green powder. The final blow came at the cash register: €70 total for two appetizers, two first courses, two waters, and one glass of rosé. A completely disproportionate amount given the meager portions, the low-quality ingredients, and the total lack of technique in the dishes. I'm giving it two stars solely to acknowledge the excellent work of the staff in the dining room and the ambiance. The kitchen needs a complete overhaul. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We acknowledge your response, even though we find the tone a bit excessive. We want to clarify that not stirring up a controversy at the table was a gesture of discretion, not of deceit: we preferred not to ruin the atmosphere of the restaurant, reserving the right time to reflect on the situation with a cool head. Regarding the mortadella, our opinion referred exclusively to the perceived flavor on the palate, which we found disappointing, not up to expectations, regardless of the brand used. Paying €35 per person for the combination of dishes described remains, in our experience, an unsatisfactory quality-price ratio. It's unfortunate that honest feedback was perceived as a personal attack rather than the opinion of customers who, despite their young age, have the right to evaluate what they eat. Kind regards.

15/03/2026: The location is beautiful and the service is friendly, but we were very disappointed with the food. For the prices, we expected the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the dishes to be of a much higher standard. Unfortunately, we ate poorly and infrequently (seven ravioli on a plate in one first course, while in the other "Pacchero dell'ostinato" nine paccheri that were supposed to be with stracciatella, mortadella, and pistachio but were watery and soupy). The bill was disproportionate to the amount served. A real shame, given that the atmosphere and hospitality are lovely.

30/03/2026: We stopped here by chance because it was on our way and didn’t expect much, especially in a touristy area. But it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. Everything was excellent - the starters, the bread, three different pastas, and the lasagna. Every single dish was genuinely delicious. It’s rare that absolutely everything is this good. Definitely recommend!

13/10/2025: If you're a fan of sophisticated table settings, this isn't your place: paper placemats, glasses reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns. However, if you want to eat well and in quantity, go to this place. The seafood dishes are truly tasty. The staff is a bit rustic, but they quickly loosen up and become friendly. Fair prices. It's a place you'll want to return to. I recommend making a reservation; it's a restaurant loved by many.

13/03/2026: We had booked a table for two at 2:30 PM. When we arrived right on time, they told us we couldn't sit down and we'd have to wait half an hour. After an hour, our table was still unavailable, so we went home. Terrible service.

06/04/2026: In the historic center of Martina Franca, Nausikaa is one of the many restaurants, trattorias, and roasteries. It's hard to go wrong in the Itria Valley, where the food and service is generally high, if you respect tradition. I tried two first courses, a second course, and an appetizer... the complimentary entree. I found the composition of the dishes spot-on, not overly elaborate, but not banal either. I found the service attentive, with a few flaws. The bill, unfortunately, is what you'd expect these days; if you look at the menu on the website, you can get an idea. For a lunch of around forty euros—not including wine—is easily affordable. Therefore: Service OK. Customer service was good, with entrees offered while you waited, with clear instructions on cooking times. The bill, in my opinion, is a little high, but you're definitely satisfied.

25/01/2026: Welcoming place, very large and bright dining room. Impeccable service, and the owner is a truly kind, polite, and always smiling person. The food quality is top-notch, and despite it often being crowded, orders arrive fairly quickly. Overall, this place is truly special, and I recommend it to everyone.

17/12/2025: Lunch here was a regular stop when we were in the area on weekdays (since on holidays you have to book well in advance). Unfortunately, yesterday it didn't go very well... (Did the chef change?) The appetizers were prepared who knows how long ago, even the seafood linguine was nothing like the ones we've had the other times, the grilled vegetables were burnt, the fish was the same story, only the calamari was okay, the shrimp contained sand, the swordfish (Oceanico) tasted old. The black truffle tasted only of ice. And a stomach ache... We were hungry and we gulped down the ceca, we were actually asked at the cashier how it had gone, but to avoid controversy, we paid and left because we didn't want to ruin our day. Obviously we won't be back again.

14/12/2025: The appetizers were okay, but the mussels...sorry, I know a lot about fish...and they were dirty, salty, inedible. The waiters were very unfriendly. The pasta with the lentils was okay, but very salty. In the end, the owner didn't charge for the mussels. But no thanks. There are much better places in Italy to eat fresh fish.
