11/01/2026: We were greeted with a smile and a truly unique warmth, a prelude to a simply extraordinary lunch. All the dishes, from the welcome gifts to the final small pastries (not to mention the bread!), were marvelous: bold yet balanced flavors, with flavors that enthralled the palate in a precise and well-paced sequence (scarpetta was a must, in my case, quite shamelessly...). The wine list was excellent, with a lovely tasting option by the glass thanks to the providential Coravin: being able to savor Valentini's legendary Trebbiano was a rare privilege. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

09/09/2025: The place is excellently located, just a few blocks from the Cathedral and the Castle. The food is excellent. Since I'm a vegetarian, Michele was able to suggest and adapt something for me so I could fully enjoy it!
Highly recommended!

We appreciated that the appetizers were served one at a time, so we could savor them without having too many flavors in our mouths right away. The pettole, served several times during the appetizer service, were truly spectacular. The food is undoubtedly high-quality and expertly prepared. I highly recommend a stop.

09/01/2026: A truly special experience, from the welcome, to the service, to the food, a 10 out of 10. The seafood dishes were divinely cooked, with creativity... we also chose some off-menu options, and they were truly delicious. Highly recommended.
01/01/2026: It was recommended to me, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept, with a shabby chic style. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair.
Ivan is very kind and attentive to his customers, and the staff is very professional (you can tell they're "in the know").
The dishes are beautifully presented and well-prepared.
Fresh products.
In short, I recommend it to anyone who wants to be sure they won't have any nasty surprises!

The menu is good, but it could use a little more attention to those with food intolerances, perhaps by offering the same dishes lactose-free instead of different, less appetizing options. Very professional service.

08/11/2025: We were very hungry and looking for an open restaurant during siesta hours. The owner saw us reading the menu and opened Taverna especially for us. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce, which were delicious! The owner is a wonderful, warm, and very friendly woman.
03/11/2025: We found this Family tavern 19.10. 2025 ,we were very satisfied with both the service and the prices. Young friendly waiter, everithing was perfekt, fine domestic wine, food and nice atmosphere !

Everything was wonderful, the party organized down to the smallest detail, the food was excellent and the staff was courteous and always available to guests! In this place we were welcomed, accompanied in every decision, guided with respect, kindness, and humility.
The greatest satisfaction is having seen the amazement in our eyes and in the eyes of our guests, for the grace, the exquisite dishes, the attention to detail, the wonderful structure, the dreamy atmosphere, and the impeccable service. We left part of our hearts in this place. ❤️

07/01/2026: Aside from the price (€80 per person), the negative thing that most influenced this review was the waiter's response to the request for a discount. He said, "The discount at the supermarket." There are many ways to respond, and in a crowded place, a loud response like that wouldn't even be given in a dive... the food was good, but for that price, I'd prefer something else.
P.S. After the review, I was contacted by the owner who made some strange allusions to our status. I hope he doesn't do that to everyone who goes and has a bad experience... I'm reposting the previously flagged and obscured review.
06/12/2025: Passing through Trani, we chose this place for lunch. The location is stunning and very well-maintained. We ate at a table with two high stools and an open kitchen. The staff, especially the owner, were wonderful, but above all, the seafood was delicious. The menu and two tastings of spectacular first courses were included. If I return to Trani, I'll definitely be back.
