This restaurant is amazing- it would deserve a Michelin Star and you get this with a fraction of the cost. If you are a good connaisseur this place is a must try, especially their tasting menu (which in preparation, creativity and execution is sits a level higher than their amazing a la carte items). Everything is extremely well made while keeping a traditional feel. Also the service was above par. They offered for us to taste a couple of different wines they suggested (from a wide list)as they saw us undecided and they did this very happly and accommodatingly I would have give it 6 stars if I could have.

My wife and I returned to Barletta after almost two years and stopped at my favorite restaurant. At Antica Cucina, I found the same atmosphere, the same excellent products, and the wonderful welcome that, every time, made me feel at home. What more can I say? A well-kept restaurant, always clean, exquisitely prepared dishes, discreet and attentive wait staff, and simply exceptional hosts! I recommend it to everyone for a business lunch or dinner, with family, for special occasions, or even, as I often did in the past, alone. Also because, in this restaurant, you're never alone; you feel welcomed like family. I thank everyone again for making us feel at home while enjoying local delicacies. See you soon!

I was with my brother for lunch, everything was exceptional, this restaurant is wonderful and Lello is a great man. The chef puts a lot of love and dedications in his dishes. I live in Scotland but every time I go down to Barletta I go there for lunch or dinner and I always take the tasting menu🇮🇹❤️

Owner Lello knows how to always welcome you with a smile and make you feel immediately at home, while chef Pino's cuisine is a beautiful ode to the simplicity of our land. Working with botanical scents and accustomed to capturing every olfactory nuance of nature, for me, food must first and foremost speak to the nose and memory. Here, the Mediterranean diet and tradition are fully appreciated: seasonal, essential dishes, where no seasoning obscures the true flavor of the vegetables or ingredients. As a Slow Food member, I can only appreciate such sincere respect for nature's rhythms. A must-see for those who want to rediscover the authentic aromas and flavors of times gone by. I had lunch there several times, I had a great time and I was very satisfied with the final result overall.

A refined place, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The staff is courteous and friendly, making the place feel like home. The food is high-quality and the combinations are sophisticated. Nothing is left to chance. The founder is dedicated to customer service. If I had to describe the experience here in one word? Well...
