26/01/2026: While passing through Barletta, we stopped here for dinner. We had an excellent sirloin steak and a really good pizza. The homemade bread and breadsticks were also fabulous, not to mention the tiramisu! 😋. The staff were very kind and friendly, and they were especially attentive to allergies and intolerances. The only downside was that the chairs weren't particularly comfortable.

An elegant, welcoming location, not overly pompous but tastefully furnished, with an exceptional host: Lello, a delightful, professional, and delightful person, pampers and entertains guests with his anecdotes, while discreetly entertaining them. All this is expertly complemented by the kitchen staff (including the great Chef Pino) ​​and his dining room staff, specifically Ciccio, an excellent wine list advisor and more, and Nicola, a very kind and attentive waiter! Succulent, varied dishes of exceptional quality, seasonal and made with the ingredients that motherland Puglia offers, both land and sea, including raw seafood! L'Antica Cucina is a great culinary discovery in the city of the challenge, the perfect combination of food and art!

17/02/2026: We visited this restaurant on February 15, 2026, to celebrate Valentine's Day. We immediately noticed, being our first time, the warm welcome and the courtesy of the owners. After seating us, we were offered the Valentine's Day menu, which included various appetizers, a first course (seafood or meat), a second course (ditto), a sorbet, and a piece of Torta della Nonna (grandmother's cake) (I think homemade). The place is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. I will definitely be back. Try it, you won't regret it. Thanks again.

17/01/2026: We've been there several times, and organization has never been their strong point, but the last time with friends was truly unpleasant. We booked in the morning because we were purposely going to Barletta from out of town. They reserved a table for four (obviously for more comfort since we had to have dinner), but when we arrived at 9:00 PM, the girls serving us invited us to wait outside in 5°C weather and with a pregnant woman because the table wasn't available yet. We patiently returned at 9:30 PM, but the reserved table was taken and wouldn't be freed up any time soon, so our only option was to sit on the stools... without a single apology or empathy... I wonder, in 2026, how can a restaurant survive on food alone? Without organization, without manners... self-service would be much better! Not to mention the chipped plates; I'd say plastic ones would be better! Unacceptable.
