28/08/2024: Simply fantastic experience! It's not the first time in this restaurant and I must say that every time it has been a pleasant confirmation. Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff, in addition to the owner and the all-round manager/chef, always ready to satisfy customer requests! Hot and cold seafood and land appetizers typical of our area. Puglia which you can see from the photos, speak for themselves! Hot bruschetta! Made at the moment! Raw seafood, very clean and the right portions. For the rest, generous portions and high quality. The only flaw is no frying, but I think that's the strong point: there's no point covering the flavor of fresh fish with frying! Grilled fish, octopus, cuttlefish and prawns are 100 thousand times better! The meat alternative is also excellent! Really good fresh shellfish pasta! A nice portion of fruit and all at the right price without exaggerating! Excellent value for money. From appetizer to dessert! Very hot and crunchy dirty muss! Only problem: reservations a little too long, everything is always booked! We waited 3 months but it was worth it! And we have already rebooked!!! Equipped with various rooms with air conditioning, it's great! Highly recommended! Congratulations to all the staff

26/08/2024: I recommend it to taste the flavors of our region. A wide offering of both land and sea starters and, above all, of excellent quality. The menu lacks nothing and the price is truly compliant. Absolutely worth a try if you can book a table.

17/11/2024: We found it by chance, but it was a pleasant discovery. Very good quality food and generous portions. The bill is more than honest but the thing that struck us most of all was the helpfulness, kindness and hospitality of the waiters in particular. of the blonde lady with glasses whose name we don't know but who made us feel at home (with 2 small children it's a big feat)...what can we say if we were to return to the area we will definitely stop again.

26/11/2024: The service is excellent to say the least, the staff is really attentive, competent and present without being intrusive, Pasquale, the owner, knows how to put every guest at ease, inside the place I wouldn't say it's small, rather intimate, there's also the possibility of sitting on a bench, which is also very elegant, modern and informal, sitting with other customers, let's say like a sushi bar, in summer however you can sit outside in a small square of the magnificent Trani, in a pedestrian area, under a magnificent bougainvillea. Unquestionably divine food, the must of this restaurant are its carpaccio, expertly combined with a few but indispensable ingredients, the first courses are all worth trying... Considering the quality, the bill is not expensive at all... I've been there several times but in my opinion pescandalo is the best in Trani, even when compared with renowned restaurants.

21/08/2024: Sono tornato per l'ennesima volta in questo bellissimo locale dove cortesia, atmosfera, qualità del servizio, della cucina e delle materie prime sono al top. Ancora una volta io e mia moglie siamo stati "coccolati" e abbiamo trascorso un'ora di relax assaporando pietanze di grande classe. Ringrazio Lello e il suo meraviglioso staff per quello che propongono e per il rapporto con i clienti. All'Antica Cucina ci tornerò ancora e ancora. La consiglio assolutamente! Bravi

23/11/2024: Un locale gestito da giovani nel cuore di Trani, dove professionalità e cordialità sono di casa. Cibo ottimo, cucinato con cura. Per pranzo abbiamo preso del polpo arrosto su crema di parmigiana e del baccalà fritto su crema di peperoni, proseguendo con un ottimo spaghettone al sugo di aragosta (e mezza aragosta annessa) ed una frittura mista. Il tutto accompagnato da una buona Falanghina e chiudendo con una torta al pistacchio e gocce di cioccolato strepitosa! Conto giusto (140€ in due). Un posto che consiglio vivamente se vi trovate da quelle parti. Da ritornarci senz'altro!

12/07/2024: The owner and the waiter are two very kind and nice people, attentive to customers' needs. We had a good dinner, excellent and light food. My son enjoyed the curry ravioli. Excellent!! We will definitely be back, it's a shame that we live in Friuli😅 but we'll definitely go next holiday!!!

14/08/2024: A good welcome. The service is attentive and the managers are pleasant. The wine is good with a varied choice. but the overall experience is a bit disappointing. Of the 4 dishes we did not choose a single one. The shrimp carpaccio was good but lacked freshness (good quality but not cold enough). The pasta lacked flavor and the whole thing was a little bland. The fish dish did not go well with the spinach and sauce. We still had a good time but coming from Brittany we were a little disappointed by the flavors. The presentation is intended to be rather gastronomic but the promises are not there.

18/08/2024: Cibo buono. I primi erano veramente buoni. Peccato che la figlia che serve ai tavoli è a dire poco antipatica e presuntuosa. L'altra povera ragazza di 17 anni non sapeva a momenti neanche cosa fosse una bottiglia d'acqua! Peccato perché il posto è bello ma l'antipatia della figlia rovina tutto

14/08/2024: Locale a gestione familiare, marito e moglie in cucina e figlia in sala. Materie prime eccelse qualità delle pietanze discreta (i primi erano purtroppo quasi crudi, antipasti ottimi) servizio "velenoso". Figlia e titolare maleducatissimi e sbruffoni. Hanno fatto una scenata davanti ai clienti sbattendoci lo scontrino sul tavolo dopo un diverbio: abbiamo visto portare a un altro tavolo piatti non compresi nel menù (spaghetti alle vongole e cozze in saute) ma di nostro interesse e abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni. La figlia ha dato risposte seccate e indispettite oltreché confuse proponendoci un cambio ma insistendo che il nostro era già pronto (dopo un'ora d'attesa). Per rispetto a chi ha cucinato non abbiamo cambiato ma abbiamo chiesto di annullare il secondo visti i tempi eterni. (Da notare che ci aveva costretto ad ordinarlo dall'inizio per evitare i tempi lunghi di attesa, mah). Una volta consumato il primo ci hanno portato uno dei due secondi, o per meglio dire lanciato in modo seccato sul tavolo, dopo nostra contestazione. Alla fine è uscito il titolare e ci ha strappato lo scontrino in malo modo invitandoci ad andarcene come suoi ospiti. Davvero un'esperienza terribile. Anche se il cliente dovrebbe avere sempre ragione avrebbe potuto almeno informarsi sulla situazione invece di usare scortesia davanti agli altri clienti e scegliere di non farci pagare.

26/08/2024: Both the marinated trilogy and the glazed octopus are excellent. The fettuccine is among the best sea urchin dishes I have tried and even better are the tubettoni with fish and fennel soup full of fruit and fish and with a very tasty sauce. The tiramisu and millefeuille are also good. Quality wine list with acceptable mark-ups. Average prices for the place but competitive for the quality of the dishes.
