03/10/2025: Last night, my son, Christian, and I visited this wonderful place, "MASSERIA SPINA RESTAURANT." Everything was perfect: delicious food, impeccable service, and a friendly atmosphere. Fresh tuna and cod tartare with creamed turnip greens as an appetizer (all excellent). For starters, amberjack-filled ravioli with creamed zucchini and herb breadcrumbs, and fusillone pasta with creamed roasted eggplant with caciotta cheese and pine nuts, and for the main course, a truly fresh, light, and crispy fried fish platter. All washed down with an excellent "Minutolo" (a variety of aromatic grape, grown since 1200 in Southern Italy), recommended by the knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be back again and enjoy your fabulous, well-stocked wine cellar.

15/04/2026: An iconic spot in the small square of Torre a Mare, Osteria del Porto is a must-visit for seafood lovers, perfect for dining while gazing out at the sea. Although the service is lacking, the quality of the food and generous portions will not disappoint. The rice, potatoes, and mussels are a must-try; it's simply heartwarming.

10/04/2026: Compared to the other restaurant in Bari city, it's completely different. Very basic, with some dishes served on plastic plates. It's true that you have to clear the table afterwards, but in Bari city, you leave everything inside on a shelf and the staff picks it up. In Torre a Mare, the containers are separated outside and the customer has to pick up their own. The only downside is that the prices are the same but the service is different.

02/06/2026: I'm not giving it 5 stars simply because of an unpleasant incident that I'm deeply disappointed by... We were in the outdoor area and were served by a very young waiter, called "piccolino" by the staff. He was helpful and friendly despite having to serve more than 50 people alone, supervised by another waitress. As a sign of appreciation, we gave a tip, but this was seen by his colleague, who maliciously misinterpreted the gesture, making us understand that the tip was given to get us to take away three bitters... It's a shame because our gesture was made completely honestly and to reward his helpfulness, perhaps we should have given the tip after the bill. Regardless, the food was excellent and the location was very beautiful. Special mention for providing us with a table inside to eat desserts given the sudden downpour.

02/06/2026: We are sincerely disappointed with our experience. We understand that, being a holiday, the restaurant may have been particularly crowded, but that doesn't justify the level of disorganization we encountered. We waited over 30 minutes just to receive our menus, while the dining room was filled with confusion and constant requests from customers. The staff clearly appeared under pressure and inadequate for the workload. In particular, one young waiter, whom we repeatedly heard called "the little guy," was visibly tired and trying to manage a very difficult situation. His helpfulness and commitment impressed us so much that we spontaneously left a tip as a gesture of appreciation. Unfortunately, this was interpreted completely inappropriately by another waitress, who introduced herself as Raimonda, who accused us of trying to "bribe" the young man to get free bitters; she was probably annoyed that we had genuinely rewarded her colleague, who was serving our table. A truly unpleasant and surreal situation, made even more embarrassing by the fact that the young waiter was harshly reprimanded and humiliated in front of us. Added to this were the excessive wait times for the dishes, the overly salty carpaccio and shrimp, and a general feeling of disorganization. Overall, an extremely negative experience that prompted us to leave this review (we tend to understand and accommodate everything in the demanding world of restaurants). We will not be returning to this place.

06/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch on May 1st at Caputi's grill and butcher shop (the winter location in Toritto) and the experience was truly excellent. The location is elegant and meticulously maintained. The staff stands out for their kindness, courtesy, and professionalism: always attentive to the customer's needs and ready to recommend the best cuts of meat and appetizers, demonstrating expertise and passion for their work. The quality of the meat is truly superior, cooked to perfection and enhanced by an excellent selection of wines, perfectly pairing each course. The desserts also deserve a special mention: delicious and beautifully presented, they are the perfect end to an impeccable meal. In short, everything was truly excellent. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return!

08/02/2026: A classy and elegant meeting place, albeit small. The bistro's owners and staff exude warmth and helpfulness to all their customers. My experience has focused on cups of chocolate drinks, which I'd describe as generally excellent, with peaks of excellence.

03/06/2026: This is an open air bar so there's no service! You get one plate of seafood but you have to eat with your own hands! The food is fresh. The oister is good but the shrimp was just ok and the Uni below average. The price is definitely for tourists so for just 20% more, you're better off to go to a nice seafood restaurant in town.

30/05/2026: A great place to chill with a beer, beautiful views, unfortunately I didn't eat anything because the fisherman asked for 50 euros for 5 oysters, I think it's a bit too much, so be careful with them
