20/11/2025: It's quite unusual to go to Italy and eat Greek food! But since it was close to the hotel, we thought we'd give it a try. The restaurant is not big, but we had to make a reservation to eat here on a Monday night. The service was prompt, the food came pretty quickly and it was good.

19/10/2025: Don't hesitate to come in!! Everything was delicious, so much so that we ordered an extra to go! The service was impeccable. I highlight the kindness and enthusiasm with which they serve you and explain their sausages and the unique flavors of each one! On average, we spent €5 per person.

06/11/2025: We booked at this restaurant listed as a fresh fish restaurant so we had very high expectations but that was not the case. We had cooked seafood appetizers but really small portions with not top quality products at the price of €18 per person, as a first course their flagship risotto, hard and rubbery rice with non-existent ingredients and with a lake of cream that tasted like the risottos prepared by Knorr memories of youth cost €16, as a second course a half slice of swordfish with a tasteless and hard to eat flavor passed off as fresh but I have serious doubts at the cost of €16. Total cost €103 this is not the right way to do catering but making fun of people at least those who know about fresh fish.

03/11/2025: My husband and I went to this restaurant with very high expectations, but that wasn't the case. What we were served seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients. The appetizers were paltry and overpriced for what was served (€18 per person). The risotto was inedible, rubbery rice full of cream and nonexistent, low-quality ingredients. The half-slice of swordfish was tasteless and tough, typical of frozen fish. This restaurant advertises itself as a fresh seafood restaurant, but that wasn't the case. Only the waiter understood the inconvenience and tried to remedy the situation, but it was too late.

01/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews unless it's deserved...and you deserve it...the facility deserves it, and so do you, Giuseppe, and all the staff who manage this wonderful location. A complete pampering experience, from the welcome to the farewell. The food was exquisite, accompanied by excellent service, where friendliness, kindness, and professionalism were absolutely paramount. It's something you're born with, and you have it! I will consider this location for other events.

11/11/2025: We celebrated my 50th birthday in this welcoming, intimate, and well-appointed location. From the start, the owner, Giuseppe, made us feel at ease, and that's how the day went. The lunch was excellent, as was the service, everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. My guests were all satisfied, complimenting us on our choice. Thanks to all the staff and Giuseppe; we'll definitely see you again.

02/11/2025: I’d always found it very crowded when I passed by before; this time, since it at least looked quieter from the outside, I decided to have my breakfast there. A ginseng coffee and a brioche for €3.10 — an astronomical price! After I paid at the register (the staff all seemed to be of a… “mature” age, which is unusual, at least in Bari), as I was leaving the bar the woman behind the counter snapped at me, “Don’t ever come back!” I still don’t know why.

12/10/2025: Found it by chance, but will definitely return by choice. Excellent pizza, beyond our expectations. Very light dough, crispy edges, and quality toppings.

22/11/2025: I wasn't entirely satisfied with the quality of the menu and the freshness of the dishes, which left me a bit disappointed compared to expectations. The service, however, was impeccable: the staff were very knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The space is small, but still welcoming and pleasant. Overall, a decent experience, but with room for improvement in the culinary offerings.

20/11/2025: The place is very small, almost like a living room, but that's not a bad thing; the atmosphere is very homey. The meatballs we ate were very good and authentic. The staff were very kind and helpful.

15/11/2025: I've been there twice for lunch and we had a great time. The waiters and owner were very helpful and friendly. We'll be back for pizza.

02/12/2025: My reviews are all positive. I hate complaining for the sake of it. Anyone who follows me will always have a good time. If they have the same tastes as me. Of course. I find myself writing a review without photos. I promise to add them later. But beyond the photos, I can say that I've been to Gulp several times. And I've always been extremely satisfied. The food is expertly prepared. The atmosphere is comfortable. The service isn't always exemplary, perhaps due to the fact that the place is almost always full. Lunch and dinner. Summer and winter.

18/12/2025: Definitely not recommended. I'll share my experience. At dinner with friends, the waiter dropped the dirty plates and silverware, dropping them down my back and landing between my shoulders and the back of the chair where my jacket was resting. The poor guy, to whom I owe my deepest sympathy, is mortified and unable to find words to express his despair. He reports the incident to the owners, offers to pay for my laundry, and I undress and hand over my sweater and jacket for a laundering attempt, keeping only my (stained) shirt out of modesty and respect for the other diners. At the end of the evening, after I'd duly paid my bill, the owner returned my jacket (which, being waterproof, had been washed as best as possible, but still had small stains) and offered to take my sweater to the dry cleaners. I pointed out that I don't live in that town, and that it would be expensive and tiring to drive back to my hometown, 20 kilometers away, only to return a few days later to pick up the sweater. So I took the sweater back and asked to be reimbursed for the laundry costs only. With a disarming smile, she replied that, next time, they'd certainly reimburse me for the laundry costs, and that I'd return after I'd washed and cleaned everything. There won't be a next time, obviously. I certainly didn't expect them to deduct my fee after presenting me with a bill of €700 (there were 14 of us, so €50 each) and perhaps apologize for the involuntary accident; that would have been a nice gesture. We, being decent people, paid the requested €700, without any discounts. But what makes the difference between professional and disrespectful behavior is that they didn't even dream of not only apologizing, but of simply refunding €17 (SEVENTEEN EUROS), that is, the cost of a luxury laundry for a jacket and a sweater! In return, they charge, as mentioned, €50 for appetizers and a main course of seafood for four people (fresh), cavatelli with seafood and shrimp (frozen), a forkful of assassina, drinks, and dessert. Never again.

30/11/2025: Today, November 30th, we spent half a day at the masseria. We had a delightful lunch, aperitif with prosecco, and various excellently prepared appetizers, creatively combining typical local ingredients like zucca pazza (crazy squash), eggplant, and zucchini. Chef Francesco highlighted each vegetable, bringing out its flavor. Congratulations. A truly unique place.

10/10/2025: An old farmhouse expertly renovated and transformed into an excellent restaurant, where you can discover the essence of Apulian culinary art. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, excellent food, and fine wine. Recommended.
