13/10/2025: I had high expectations for this place, which turned out to be welcoming and with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing: the pizzas were undercooked, rubbery, and overly salty, the fried foods were cold, and the wait was long. After dinner, I felt heavy and unwell for hours. It wasn't a satisfying experience, and honestly, I don't think I'll be back.

05/11/2025: I was here for dinner with some colleagues, and I was quite satisfied: - The food is high-quality, delicious, and locally sourced. - The service was prompt. - There's plenty of space between the tables; I mean, the restaurant is quite large and genuinely comfortable. In my opinion, the value for money deserves 5 stars.

23/10/2025: This is one of those places I always recommend when I have guests. Five stars not only because Grandma Iolanda is still working in the kitchen, but above all because it's a place that embodies the essence of a Salento trattoria. When you walk in, it's like being at grandma's house. The dishes are special and the flavors are unique, made according to tradition and with locally sourced ingredients, because everything—and I mean everything—is raised and grown by them. The nice thing is that they also offer half-course meals, so you can try more. The wines are excellent and the prices are absolutely reasonable. If I were the owner, I'd raise them 😂 that said, book ahead, because it's always busy, and try the mixed pittule, the sagne with horse meat sauce, and the chocolate salami. I've eaten there countless times, and the pleasant memories have never faded.

19/10/2025: The restaurant is located in the oldest part of Minervino Murge, above the town square, with a beautiful hill in front. It has a lovely terrace where you can have lunch or dinner during the warmer months. The interior is very beautiful and welcoming; it's an old house, but it's been carefully renovated, preserving its original character. The menu features traditional dishes, as well as more unusual dishes, all using locally sourced ingredients. Vegetarian options are also available, and for my gluten and lactose intolerance, I found gluten-free bread and pasta, as well as lactose-free options. Naturally, I mentioned this when I booked. Everything is excellent; the ingredients are top-quality, the staff is very kind and helpful, and I even met the chef, who I found to be very talented.

02/11/2025: Scacco Matto is a great place for delicious pizza in Martina Franca. The dough is thin and well-baked, the ingredients are fresh and of really good quality. It's clear that everything is prepared with attention to taste. The friendly, unobtrusive service and pleasant atmosphere are also a plus. It's definitely worth returning.

15/11/2025: We can’t thank the team at Masseria Il Frantoio enough. Nico, Serena, Angela and the whole team were incredible through our wedding celebration and week long stay in September. They made all of our guests from Australia feel incredibly welcome, and the food experience from breakfast to dinner is unmatched in quality. We had the most beautiful celebration with a ceremony in the olive grove, an incredible 8 course dinner under the stars and party in the courtyard. We can’t wait to come back again with friends and family in the years ahead, it’s the most beautiful place. Thank you again!

09/11/2025: Lovely place and people! The property was beautiful and we were made to feel very welcomed. The highlight for me was the olive oil tasting session! It was fun and informative. The hotel is also in a great location for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

25/11/2025: The longer our stay in Porto Cesareo lasted at the end of October, the more often we ate at this restaurant. We went for lunch and dinner, whenever it suited us. We were always warmly welcomed, and the food, drinks, and even the olive oil were consistently a delight. Many thanks to the staff, the kitchen, and the owners. We will fondly remember you.

03/11/2025: The small hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs offers the most delicious pizzas with very unusual toppings for dinner! A must-try! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
