In the heart of the ancient city of Bitritto, we discovered a hidden gem. La Campagnola is a pizzeria located inside a former 17th-century olive oil mill. The location features ancient stone walls that lend the experience a relaxing atmosphere. The service from the entire staff is simply exceptional. The quality of the products is superb; I recommend the Slow Food cheese board and the Cinta Sienese pizza. Pizza chef Cosimo is a master of leavened products and will be able to recommend the best dishes for you, as will the entire staff. A fantastic experience; we will definitely be back.

La Campagnola restaurant and pizzeria in the Bari hinterland, in the center of Bitritto, offers a balanced menu of typical local and regional specialties. The generous appetizers and welcoming atmosphere pay homage to the old 17th-century olive oil mill, which has been perfectly transformed into a refined, clean restaurant. Last but not least, a special thanks goes to the Bitonto prodigy, Cosimo, who gave us the opportunity to discover his world and his well-cooked, flavorful, and very light pizzas. I'll conclude by saying that the next time we pass through Bitritto, we'll definitely come to La Campagnola. And, as I always say, enjoy!

Excellent pizza restaurant, delicious pizzas, not thin-crust but not Neapolitan. Quality ingredients, friendly and courteous service. Large dining room, beautiful, spacious, and clean. Highly recommended.

What a gem this restaurant is. The wait staff were super hospitable and helped us well with the Italian menu, which was very difficult to make sense of. The food was delicious; we had a fantastic evening.

All the tables were booked for opening, so we got pizzas to go. The wait was less than 10 minutes 😍 We were thrilled! Authentic Italian pizza, something travelers can't find everywhere in Italy these days! Thank you.

Excellent, delicious pizza, but the prices are quite high. Not even in Bari do they have such high prices... but not even in Altamura, which is a metropolis.... this is not good at all.... don't put 20-30 per person because the prices are much higher...

Nice little place, nice and spacious atmosphere, great welcome. Friendly and professional service staff. New and tasty gourmet pizzas, excellent dough and leavening. Desserts from Olympus!! The only flaw was the Piedmontese Fernet at the end of the dinner (it seemed strangely watered down). All in all, a good and pleasant experience. Prices commensurate with the quality.
