29/07/2025: Pizzas for €10.50 are amazing! Crispy, fresh and delicious! Accompanied by a fruity Italian rosé at €15 a bottle! The setting isn't amazing, but honestly, the most important thing is what's on the plate. Ps: a good sign... there are some locals, so it's not a tourist trap!

05/08/2025: We come to this restaurant every time we vacation in Puglia: it's a true feast, the likes of which are increasingly rare, in a place where you can experience a genuine welcome and truly enjoy your meal. We started with the house appetizer: a riot of local specialties served generously and expertly. From golden pittule to potato pitta, frittata, peperonate, fava bean purée with chicory, and a slew of other rustic delicacies, every bite was a tribute to tradition. We also ordered two burratas on the side: creamy and incredibly fresh. For our first course, we chose orecchiette with Tropea red onion and a touch of Negroamaro: an original, fragrant dish with an intense and enveloping flavor, with a perfect balance of sweetness and character. Then for our second course: the skewer. A mixed grill of sausage, bombetta, pancetta, pork tenderloin, and chicken... all cooked to perfection, succulent, and flavorful, and served with house fries, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful (as always). The staff is present but never intrusive, ready to passionately explain each course. Here, you're not treated like an ordinary customer, but like a welcome guest. And you can sense their pride in their cuisine, their desire to make everyone feel good. Those who come here should know that it's not just about the food: it's an experience of authentic flavors, sincere hospitality, and true abundance, the kind that leaves you happy, satisfied, and smiling. A tribute to good food and the art of making people feel at home. We'll definitely be back, like every year we visit Puglia.

08/08/2025: The coffee was perfect, and I asked this wonderful woman to be my girlfriend here. Unfortunately, she didn’t think it was the right place to do so. My mistake. So maybe not the place to ask this, but I really recommend a break and the coffee here. (But she is now my girlfriend)

13/07/2025: We had a wonderful meal at Osteria Due Mari in Taranto! The orecchiette with turnip greens and mussels were exceptional—flavorful, well-balanced, and authentic. The sautéed mussels were also delicious, with the perfect seasoning. A traditional and welcoming restaurant with truly excellent cuisine—highly recommended! My husband said: "I finally found Taranto mussels!"

11/07/2025: I happened upon this restaurant with a friend on the day of our return from a short vacation in Taranto. We booked via the app, and once we arrived, we found a familiar yet very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Niccolò, who helped us choose our dishes, demonstrating great professionalism and customer service. As for the food, we were impressed by the excellent quality of all the dishes, but I was particularly impressed by the grilled calamari! The produce was incredibly fresh (Niccolò himself confirmed it was the catch of the day), and it was perfectly cooked, leaving it tender and flavorful. The appetizer of hot and cold seafood was also remarkable, leaving us extremely satisfied. This restaurant offers a high level of quality at absolutely fair prices. It's a must-visit for all tourists who want to eat well and avoid being ripped off. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. Full marks!

01/08/2025: Typical local Italian food! Vito is a fantastic host. As mentioned before, we had a variety of dishes, and they were truly amazing! The price was very reasonable; we had two full trattorias, a bottle of wine, two cokes, water, and a beer... €60. That's what you get two crappy pizzas from Happy Italy for in the Netherlands these days. All in all, highly recommended!! We stumbled upon this place, but I highly recommend it to everyone! 08/07/2025: We found this agriturismo via Google Maps. The setting is very refined, nestled among olive trees and prickly pears. It has a beautiful pergola and a garden lit by fairy lights, creating a charming atmosphere. Tables are carefully set and meticulously maintained. The background music is relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of Otranto. The food is very good, made with locally sourced ingredients. Generous portions and carefully selected. The staff is very friendly and fast. Reasonable prices. They even offered us a homemade olive liqueur, which was excellent. Definitely worth a try.
