21/01/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. I have to say it was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant is located in an enchanting position, a stone's throw from the sea, with a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and professional, offering impeccable service. The menu is full of delicious options, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried almost all the starters together with my girlfriend: a riot of truly succulent flavors and the quality of the fish was excellent. As a first course we had a seafood carbonara and ravioli filled with purple potatoes with fish sauce, a culinary surprise in every bite, all accompanied by two glasses of white and rosé wine recommended by the house. We concluded lunch with a tiramisu and an almond paste tart filled with chocolate: the first (served inside a meringue), which personally didn't make me crazy, I would have simply added one as an accompaniment. The second course was served on a coulis of wild berries and was simply delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and with attention to the smallest details, with a Lecce stone ceiling that adds a touch of authenticity. It is the ideal place for a special dinner or to celebrate an important occasion, but also just to indulge in a quiet and elegant meal. In summary, the Underground Fish Restaurant is a great choice for those looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back!

13/01/2025: Castro is wonderful, both the town and the sea. This restaurant was a surprise. Very nice inside, with outdoor seating. We stayed on January 3rd. We only ate a seafood salad which was served as an appetizer with 1 glass of wine. A little expensive €25 out of season, but the location is worth it. I can't imagine the prices in season 😊

08/01/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa De Grecis on January 4th and it was perfect! But our experience was positive from the first meeting with Luca: an exquisite person and magnificent "architect" of the event, a source of advice starting from the choice of the date up to the place cards. Always available, efficient and timely. Exceptional! Francesco was also superlative... Guardian angel of the room and of the spouses: always attentive and present during the lunch albeit with enormous discretion. “It's there but you can't see it”... it seems like it reads minds due to its ability to materialize at the right time to satisfy every need of the bride and groom and guests... The location is wonderful... the photos don't do justice to the enchanting atmosphere you can feel while there! The food was superb. An excellent menu both in quality, taste and quantity. The chef is a true master and even the "alternative" menus (for various intolerances/vegan/no fish) were of a high standard. Maximum availability even for last minute changes on individual dishes to meet everyone's needs. Perfect dining room staff: discreet, efficient and very kind. We are the spouses and obviously we are biased but we were happy to know, collecting the opinions of friends and relatives (especially the close ones who don't mince their words), that their experience was identical to ours! 01/01/2025: Yesterday my family and I were customers at Villa de Grecis for the New Year's Eve dinner. The food was good and the staff kind and friendly, but unfortunately they were the only pleasant things in our opinion, because the dinner started very late and for this reason the dishes were brought close together, the music was not suitable for the context, there was little space for dancing because 12 place settings were placed in tables of 8 people, so it was cramped. During dinner several plates and I believe also several glasses were accidentally broken by the staff. On the menu it was written "traditional desserts" and only a few slices of panettone were served, finally the lentils were served without the cotechino, which it's also good but in context the evening was absolutely not up to the asking price.

11/01/2025: Even when you are still for reasons beyond your control, your Google Photos bring back pleasant memories about a year later. With them, the senses expand and the images intertwine with the memory of the surrounding environment, the liveliness of the place, the aromas and the pleasure of flavours. The assassin is now a "must" everywhere in the province of Bari and beyond, but revisiting it and above all personalizing it is certainly not easy. It is easier to receive criticism if you distance yourself from the classic. Instead, the union of two traditions in a single solution, risky but successful in my opinion, produced a killer with stracciatella on which a brasciola with ragù was frayed. The result may also shock purists, but we like to experiment, especially when the result is noteworthy. The pork cheek with grilled vegetables was also worthy of appreciation. Cooked at low temperature, pleasant on the palate and worthy of being considered a leading dish. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable. The place does not have a unique theme, it presents itself as a mix of memories, passions and emotions, all in all, pleasant overall. To conclude, recovering the literal meaning with a pluralist idea, we can only exclaim: Namaste.

27/12/2024: Even though I live a few meters from Namastè, the thought of spending an evening there has never occurred to me. I always saw it frequented by many young people. But friends had told me that there was a catering service (and I now discover also takeaway), which was very interesting. Well, I've already gone 3 times in the last few weeks. And I must say that I was deeply enraptured by some of the dishes. In particular the Tonnarelli with Wakisoba, with and without chicken. But the assassin (proposed in 3/4 variations) is no different. I'm an assassin enthusiast. I attended a cooking course in Bari and specialized only in that. I visited several restaurants in the Bari area to compare their dishes. But I also had the opportunity to appreciate many other meat and non-meat dishes. Bacon and cheddar chips are delicious. I'm Italian American. My compliments to Chef Luca. Thanks to Giuseppe for managing the table, but all the table attendants are attentive, kind and professional. The wine list is rightly not very assorted, but aimed at matching the dishes prepared. I can't comment on the beers as I'm not an expert, but I'm convinced that there too nothing is left to chance.

07/01/2025: I was in this restaurant on the last evening of the year for the New Year's Eve dinner. I had a really good impression of this place. Excellent food and all fresh.. Excellent service especially from the girl who served at the table... very nice and professional. I can certainly recommend it.

06/01/2025: A relaxing Epiphany spent with the family, with excellent food, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We appreciated the excellent and abundant starters, we were really undecided about the first courses because they were all so tempting, in fact they were very good, the second courses were wonderful, the desserts were very good. In short, a sumptuous lunch. A place we recommend!!!

13/12/2024: Locale top, meat sushi da favola, gusti ricercati e che ti rimangono in testa oltre che nel palato. Personale eccellente, qualità alta, e vini che accompagnano perfettamente il percorso culinario.

24/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale sotto raccomandazione di alcuni amici. Il locale, nel centro storico di Corato, si presenta come piccolo ma accogliente e con cucina a vista. Il servizio è attento, e veloce “ il giusto” (ci tengo a sottolineare la straordinaria gentilezza della cameriera, una ulteriore nota positiva della serata). La qualità del cibo e delle materie prime è indiscutibile, i primi piatti fatti con materie prime semplici rendono i gusti nel piatto decisi e delineati. Dolci buoni e belli da vedere. Il locale, seppur avendo pochi coperti, risulta un tantino affollato quando è al completo. Ci ritornerò.

12/12/2024: We got some really amazing panzerotti! The service is a little slow, but this is due to the large number of customers. It's worth arming yourself with patience, but those panzerotti are really worth it!

02/01/2025: Thanks to a gift, we took advantage of the Masseria Bandino Spa... What can I say, everything was perfect and enchanting! From the kind welcome to the obsessive cleanliness of the spaces... we took a two-hour journey through saunas, hydromassage and relaxation on the sunbeds, served with drinks and herbal teas, and a plate of fresh fruit, all accompanied by relaxing music and the right amount of privacy ! An environment with attention to the smallest details, where it leaves no room for the smells of mold or stagnant water that we have always smelled in other wellness centres, but rather the scents of lime and clean smells! Both the lady at the reception and the lady at the Spa were kind, welcoming, smiling and not intrusive! An excellent solution as a gift idea so as not to make a bad impression, but for us, a right motivation to return!

03/01/2025: A place located in the heart of old Martina, in a delightful renovated cellar, it is definitely a place to try! The dishes are delicious, with attention to their appearance and preparation and with very fresh products. The owner is truly a delightful person as are all the people who work in the restaurant... when I return to Martina I will definitely come back to taste their cuisine!!!

20/01/2025: We are from Australia and we had to organise a Baptism that was to take place in San Giovanni Rotondo. We booked the event party from Australia with Fil and Max Ristorante for 45 people, we asked for a special menu for the event, including the celebration cake and entertainment. Fil and Max went over and above for our day, nothing was a ever a problem for them. They made our day the most amazing event surpassing all of our expectations; the food was incredible, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was just fantastic. EVERYONE had the most amazing time and said that it was the best party they had been to. The entertainment was just so fabulous; we all sang and danced the whole time. The whole event was just brilliant. Words cannot express our gratitude to Fil, Max and all of the team at Fil and Max Ristorante. We cannot say enough about their wonderful Ristorante. We highly recommend this beautiful Ristorante - Please book here if you are ever in the area, you will absolutely love the experience.
