05/06/2026: A charming inn close to the historic center. We had a very good meal, recommended by the friendly and cheerful staff. You can enjoy traditional Apulian dishes from Altamura. Reasonably priced. Perhaps better than a pizzeria. I recommend ordering the Padre Peppe served at the end of the meal. A surprise. The decor is also very tasteful. I'm very satisfied and will return.

Their food and wine recommendations were spot on. ​The Food & Quality: Simply outstanding. The vegetables are farm-to-table (grown in the field next door), and both the pasta and desserts are strictly homemade. The veal steak we had on our second night was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouth. ​Value: The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. You get top-tier, authentic food at a very fair price. ​A special mention goes to Ms. Vera, the chef and owner, who went far beyond our expectations. 09/06/2026: Gola is a wonderful place to be. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, the staff is incredibly kind and always discreet. There's a good selection of wines, and the food is always freshly prepared. We ate wonderfully and can't wait to return.

Sandwiches were ordered two hours in advance, and we had to wait an additional half hour, despite being told they were coming out of the kitchen when we arrived. The worst part was finding raw meat (as shown in the photo) in one of the sandwiches. Not recommended!

26/05/2026: Two of us came and found a seat right away. The old man is a bit grumpy and makes a few off-color jokes, and the waiter disappears every now and then. The pizza was watery (the toppings seemed to be floating and ran off), although overall it was good. The location is nice only because the church is in front, but people walk by and there are lots of flies that land on and over the pizza.

The location is magnificent, with meticulous attention to detail, and staff were present at the entrance to hand out umbrellas since it was raining. Highly recommended. PS. 22/03/2026: We celebrated my son's 18th birthday, a very beautiful location, they were kind and helpful right from the start, Mrs. Elena was good, kind and creative, a wide choice of dishes that I can say were excellent, well served, they stopped by several times for seconds, impeccable service, I have elderly parents and the staff was very attentive and kind, Mariano the DJ was very good and very kind, the volume of the music was not very high and we could chat, my son was very happy with the music chosen and his friends all danced, thanks to Alessandro, kind, attentive and above all for having had the photos taken with the beautiful Simba (Golden retriever) that my son wanted, thank you if we have another opportunity I would definitely return
