02/05/2025: Excellent value for money. Tastefully cooked dish, fresh produce. To do absolutely. We were won over. We had starter - main course - dessert and 2 beers.

The service is fast, super pleasant/welcoming and the managers give very good advice on wines. The asparagus pasta is delicious, the veal is also perfectly done (beautifully cooked). An excellent address in the heart of the historic center of Locorontodo!

11/05/2025: We discovered Macchiaviva during a trip to Grottaglie and were really impressed. There were four of us and we had lunch choosing a first course each, accompanied by a fried fish to share and, to conclude, two homemade desserts. Everything lived up to expectations, but the mussels, very fresh and tasty, and the artisanal desserts, which show the passion and care with which they are prepared, deserve a special mention. The dining room staff and the owner family welcomed us with great kindness, demonstrating rare attention not only towards us, but also towards our dog, who was pampered like an honored customer. We will definitely be back!

The host, Dario, was very kind and friendly throughout the evening; he met all my requests always with a smile and politeness. The staff is cheerful and casual, never missing an opportunity to make you feel at home. Very satisfying dining experience.

25/03/2025: We discovered this little place halfway through our holiday and enjoyed it so much that we returned a second time to celebrate my birthday. The refined, tasty and abundant food, refined dishes that always look towards tradition. The staff were very kind and friendly, they welcomed us as if we were regular customers. If I were to return I would definitely visit him again.

26/04/2025: Amazing pizza the best I have had in Puglia and one of the best I had in Italy, very friendly owners and service I highly recommend you to try the Gourmet versions as they bring freshness to the taste of pizza! Also they can always modify the positions so it's vegetarian 🥰 One other thing worth mentioning is to order Panzerotti although not fritti they are the best!

06/05/2025: I was recommended this restaurant by the hotel front desk. I found the waiters to be very polite, and while the quality of the seafood wasn’t outstanding, it was okay. Honestly, I didn’t really feel that the seafood here was significantly better than elsewhere... Maybe I had unrealistic expectations… Throughout the meal, the two young servers were very friendly and enthusiastic, which made my dining experience enjoyable. The only downside was the cashier at the end—an older lady with a poker face and a rather unfriendly attitude. Overall, I wouldn’t strongly recommend this place, but if you’re staying on the island and don’t have many other options, it’s an okay choice.
