22/08/2025: the second stop on our “polignano food tour”was this gelato shop and apparently i had to try their ice cream. my friends raved about the gorgonzola gelato. one friend even came running to the shop, yes she was that exited. i was just as excited because i love cheese and gorgonzola is one of my favorites. unfortunately we didn’t see it on display and it turns out they had stopped making it. a shame because i was really curious. we tried other flavors instead. i got ricotta with chocolate bits (like a cannoli filling) and almond. both were very good and the quality was excellent. the disappointment lingered a little but the delicious gelato quickly made up for it.

24/08/2025: As soon as I arrived, they offered me a table for two (just what I was looking for). The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was perfect.

03/08/2025: I ordered two takeaway pizzas from here yesterday. The waiter and especially the pizza chef were very friendly and welcoming. The place was also packed. I was really surprised by the price – because it was super cheap! The pizza was also extremely delicious!!! There was also a small gift from the kitchen as a token of appreciation – a small focaccia with olives and tomatoes :) It was also very tasty! So all in all: I would gladly come back when I'm here again! Great staff, great pizza, great value for money! Very satisfied :)

14/08/2025: Amazing cuisine with a very kind host who is attentive to all his guests. I was lucky enough to visit this restaurant in early June by pure chance, and I truly have nothing to complain about... The appetizers were prepared with a mastery I've not seen in other, much more renowned restaurants (the day before, I had visited Grotte Palazzese in Polignano a Mare). Prices would be fair, which is an understatement, especially considering the kindnesses from chef Simone (water not included in the bill and free pasta for my daughter). A truly unforgettable experience.

31/07/2025: Siamo ritornati dopo 3 anni in questo bellissimo home restaurant e abbiamo ritrovato la stessa genuinità, bontà, gentilezza e semplicità della signora Luigina che con la sua cucina ci ha fatto ritrovare tutti i piatti della tradizione salentina. Tutto buonissimo e di ottima qualità. Ci siamo sentiti proprio a casa. La location è inoltre molto curata e suggestiva. Il prezzo è più che onesto, considerato il lavoro che sta dietro ad ogni singola preparazione e che il menù è interamente preparato da loro. Non so se torneremo in Salento l'anno prossimo, ma se così fosse sicuramente torneremo qui!

26/07/2025: A Casa Noscia è stata la nostra prima esperienza di Home Restaurant. Abbiamo scelto questo posto consigliato da un amico e abbiamo trascorso una serata perfetta in famiglia! La cena è stata deliziosa con tante portate abbondanti e con materie prime eccellenti lavorate con grande sapienza. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, le padrone di casa sono ospitali e molto gentili! Abbiamo potuto scegliere al momento della prenotazione tra menù di carne o di pesce e una volta scelto quello di pesce, ci sono state date le diverse opzioni di date in cui avremmo trovato il menù scelto. Il menù è fisso e costa 30€ a persona: comprende antipasti vari, primi e secondi, dolci, acqua, vino, caffè, amari e digestivi. Davvero una serata speciale!

18/04/2025: I have been frequenting Birbacco for years and every visit is a special experience. The owner is a wonderful, kind and generous person, who makes every guest feel at home. The quality of the food is exceptional, both the meat and the pizza, with particular attention to healthy products, also ideal for those on a diet. The value for money is excellent, the service is fast and the staff is always courteous and attentive. It's my go-to for a safe, delicious dinner.
