I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. The open kitchen is an added bonus: seeing the care and precision with which the dishes are prepared makes everything even more engaging and inspires great confidence in the quality of the work. The dishes were beautifully presented and, above all, delicious, with balanced flavors and top-quality ingredients. Also noteworthy is the wine selection, perfect for pairing each course. A funny little anecdote: throughout the evening, I kept calling the chef "Aldo," even though I knew his real name was Mimmo (Mimì) (maybe it was the wine 🤣). Chef Mimmo, by the way, is incredibly friendly and contributes to creating a welcoming, informal atmosphere. A truly extraordinary experience. This restaurant reinvents the concept of "sushi" with a carnivorous twist, with a creativity and quality that surprises from the first bite.
But the true masterpiece is the slice of horse meat on the bone. Tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, it releases an intense and authentic flavor that captivates even the most discerning palates. A dish worth the visit alone.

A sensory experience in Corato!
We were three colleagues traveling and discovered this gem: Al Mulo Cojone literally won us over. The atmosphere is extremely refined and welcoming, but the real heart of the place is the open kitchen: watching the team at work is a spectacle, conveying the chef's dedication and artistry in every move.
The quality of the meat is excellent, tender, and flavorful, and the sushi specialties were an incredible surprise: original combinations and the freshest ingredients for a truly orgasmic end result.
If you're in the area, it's a must-visit for those seeking excellence and a refined atmosphere.

Passing through Corato, we stopped at Il Mulo and were truly impressed. We had a wonderful evening, accompanied by delicious, high-quality dishes. The food was simply wonderful, and the attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable. We absolutely recommend it!

I'm a restaurant professional, and I pay particular attention to certain details that, in my opinion, truly make the difference.
I'll start with the positives: the meat was excellent quality, well-cooked, and perfectly presented. The location is very pleasant and well-maintained, and I particularly appreciated the change of cutlery after each course and the cloth napkins, details that demonstrate customer care. The wait staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional, contributing to an overall pleasant experience.
Regarding the dishes, the only one that didn't fully convince me was the killer "Cortina": it lacked crunchiness, and despite being declared spicy on the menu, it didn't taste that way. A slight imbalance between expectations and the final result.
The meat nigiri also deserve consideration: I would suggest paying particular attention to the preparation of the rice, which is the key element of the dish. In this case, I found it rather bland and slightly stringy, an aspect that inevitably affects the overall harmony.
Finally, there's one aspect that unfortunately left me perplexed. With an open kitchen, the chef's behavior becomes an integral part of the customer experience. During service, seeing the chef vaping and smoking in front of the customers, as well as eating with his hands in full view, was unpleasant. I understand that there are moments of pause or tasting in the kitchen, but when choosing an open kitchen, it's crucial to maintain an impeccable image in every respect.
With a little more attention to these details, the restaurant's quality could rise even further.

A very small but wonderful restaurant. The meat sushi is truly excellent, as are the entrees. The kitchen is open to the public, and it's wonderful to watch them work. Reservations are recommended due to limited seating. I have to say, it's a shame we didn't go there sooner. We'll definitely be back.
