19/04/2026: Compact, but incredibly tasty place. When you enter the premises and see the laconic interior, you don't expect anything incredible. But!!! Every bite of each dish is a masterpiece!
The chef is just an artist. The waitress is great.
Recommendations!
07/04/2026: A top-notch culinary experience. We tried the lobster, red shrimp, and scampi agnolotti (sublime), and two slices of the catch of the day, both incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The dessert and recommended wine were also excellent.
Note on the service:
The order is taken directly by the chef; this slightly lengthens the initial wait, but ensures extreme care in explaining the dishes. Once we ordered, however, the kitchen was extremely fast and the service impeccable.
Highly recommended for those who prioritize the quality of the raw ingredients.

The welcome is warm and friendly, and the staff is there to ensure you fully enjoy your meal. And the view is simply breathtaking—you'll have to see for yourself!

The poached pear for dessert was also fantastic.
15/05/2026: The restaurant is modern and well-kept, sophisticated but not pretentious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food deserves a special mention; all the dishes were excellent and meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, from the plating to the food pairings. The value for money was excellent compared to other restaurants we tried in town, where the service was also significantly inferior.

10/05/2026: Dance discovery! The place is a bit retro, the service fast and friendly. We had lunch with 2 calzones, 1 cutlet and fries, 6 pizzas, 4 bottles of water, 2 ice creams, 2 desserts, and 2 coffees. The pizza was very tasty, with plenty of toppings. The idea of bringing a homemade shortbread cookie at the end of the meal was very nice; they were delicious, a simple idea that made the whole thing cozy. We spent €149.50. The location is beautiful, right in front of the lake. I would return.

09/11/2025: Very pleasant, good location; the place must be extraordinary in summer.
12/10/2025: Beautiful old hotel right on the lake. We had a corner room on the fifth floor with two separate very large patios with outstanding views. The hotel grounds were impeccably maintained. My only complaint was the scrambled eggs. Every morning they were always cold, despite repeatedly telling the staff that they were cold.

03/05/2026: We always have a good time at Osteria del Mercante, a welcoming place, the food is good, and the staff is friendly, the owner is always willing to tell you how and where he makes his wine, and then the bill is fair, and in line with what you eat, recommended for lunches and dinners, reservations are recommended.
02/05/2026: We called at the last minute on a Saturday evening, and I immediately appreciated the owners' kindness and helpfulness. They went out of their way to accommodate a table for seven, and I must say we had a great time. The food was good, and the waiters were all very courteous and knowledgeable, which is not a given these days. The prices were fair for the quality and authenticity of the dishes. A complimentary house liqueur was offered at the cash register!

You can definitely make a great vegan Falafel wrap or plate. The prices are good, and the portions are nice.
