10/10/2025: We were just there for coffee after a beautiful hike – which was, of course, very good. They took the time to explain everything about chestnut picking (what size, how to open and store them). That was very nice. A very relaxed and peaceful place.

26/08/2025: Today for the first time I went into this shop and bought some lean ravioli, besides being really very good they are also cheap, for 600 grams I spent 8 euros, finally something that I found fantastic is that on the paper they used to package the ravioli they wrote the cooking time that is needed for their products

29/09/2025: The owners were very friendly and the food was all great - we had the seafood, pasta and desserts. Very reasonable price and just behind the main road into Omegna so we sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening.

16/10/2025: Hidden restaurant, yet well signposted. The menu features dishes made with regional products. First, three bruschettas arrived unsolicited, the most memorable of which was the one with an eggplant and onion compote. Next, I had tagliatelle with nettles and porcini mushrooms: very tasty. After that, chicken with a chestnut and juniper berry sauce: very tasty. The friendly owner treated us to a homemade bitter. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

31/10/2025: We chose this place for lunch during a day trip to Domodossola. We wanted to try the gnocchi all'Ossolana and other local specialties, but we were told they only serve a set menu for lunch during the week. We ordered that, and I have to say, it was good. Regarding the quality of the food and the service, there's nothing to complain about; everything was excellent. It's a big shame we didn't try the local dishes; otherwise, the restaurant would have given us 5 stars.

24/09/2025: It has always been my go-to place for excellent breakfasts, large brioches, excellent aperitifs with delicious platters and delicious snacks based on extraordinary cakes, true delicacies, reasonable prices. I have always been welcomed with kindness and friendliness in an environment that I was told has been renovated with a refined and unique taste. I have always found in Francesca and her children Laura and Alberto dear friends who I remember with affection. Our 4-legged friends are welcome. Macugnaga is a unique, enchanted beauty and the inhabitants always welcome you, as in this wonderful pastry shop, the pinnacle of the place. I highly recommend it.
