21/09/2025: Very authentic, friendly service, and a great atmosphere in the small courtyard. It was our mother's birthday, and the kitchen baked her a special cake. Definitely a highlight in Domodossola ❤️

20/09/2025: The rooms are simple, but decent and reasonably clean. Breakfast was okay, but everything had a lot of sugar and was nothing special. Dinner was completely unimpressive, especially for the price. Not recommended for vegetarians. A lot of food (a lot of meat) is served, and it was all poor quality and simply way too much. In the end, this "menu" cost €50 per person, regardless of whether you had vegetarian or meat. The price wasn't clear beforehand, but was simply written down in pencil on a piece of paper upon departure. They initially didn't want to accept card payments, but we didn't have enough cash, so we were able to use a card after all… a bit suspect. Communication was only possible in Italian; English was barely possible. All in all, pretty disappointing. Perhaps it's better to order directly from the menu…

30/09/2025: Excellent food, fast service. Our dog wasn't a problem. There's plenty of parking. What was a bit irritating for me was that we received the entire meal at once, rather than one after the other. So we had the bread basket, bruschetta, salad, pasta, and meat dishes on the table at the same time. I didn't really think that was ideal, but the food itself was really delicious and plentiful.

10/10/2025: Lovely food, attentive service and kind friendly staff. Pizza dough was very tasty and the home made tiramisu was a stand-out! Really delicious. We sat outside in the autumn sunshine and enjoyed the people-watching.

08/10/2025: Beautiful location on the promenade! Pizza looks great! Unfortunately, the dough was tough and not quite crispy despite the wood-fired oven. Tasted okay. Small tables for four people; you can't put tables together. Too bad, we'll consider a different restaurant next time.

18/07/2025: I went to enjoy a black cherry coffee, but it's a shame about the music, which is quite boring and makes you lose the desire to stay a little longer, because jazz music should be listened to and appreciated at other times.

30/06/2025: Rude staff, even annoyed. I ordered a latte macchiato, dirty cup, saucer with a dirty milk skirt and inside the glass full of coffee grounds, the glass of peach juice dirty with milk, the croissants even though they were the last ones left were good

18/06/2025: la danse des papilles, la gastronomie italienne à portée de bourse. nous nous sommes régalés durant une semaine. dans une ambiance sympa au bord d’un petit port et à l’ombre des magnolias. Servi aimable sympathique ce qui ajoute au plaisir. nous reviendrons. merci

06/06/2025: Wir waren gleich zweimal hier, so gut hat es uns gefallen. Vorgestern am Mittag, heute zum Abendessen. Vom Empfang über den Service bis zur Küche war alles perfekt. Die Küche besticht mit Liebe zum Detail, die Speisen sind geschmacklich gut abgestimmt und diskret gewürzt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Vorgestern hatten wir beide den exotischen Salat mit Gamberi. Danach hatte ich die Spaghetti alla Chitarra und meine Frau den Branzino. Heute hatten wir als Vorspeise die Parmigiana di Melanzane. Danach Gnocchi und nochmals den Branzino. Die Portionen sind genau richtig, damit auch ein Dessert Platz hat, ein Panna Cotta und ein Tiramisu. Beim nächsten Besuch am Lago Maggiore steht dieses Restaurant wieder auf unserer Liste.

14/09/2025: The food was very disappointing for me. I ordered the “dishes of the day.” The poached egg with porcini mushrooms and parmesan cream came with the egg white barely cooked, the dish looked unappealing, and the mushrooms were tasteless. The tortellini with porcini mushrooms was swimming in a bland sauce and equally disappointing. Most reviews here are positive, so perhaps I was unlucky coming around 9pm, but personally I wouldn’t return.

08/09/2025: We had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, the waitress was very kind and attentive, and the food was exquisite and very good. It was faultless.

06/07/2025: La posizione con la vista del Lago è favolosa. Per il resto tutto da dimenticare.. piatti che arrivano con mezz'ora di ritardo .. cibo dozzinale, servizio sbrigativo e a tratti irrispettoso...

02/10/2025: Just finished lunch. A lovely plate of gnocchi in a delicious cheese sauce and a sprinkling of chopped walnuts—truly delicious!—then polenta with braised beef, accompanied by a delicious sauce. For dessert, a bun and coffee, all served in a neat, clean, and fast setting. Truly excellent, and I recommend it to everyone! Congratulations!

24/08/2025: We had a quick aperitivo at this wine bar and were pleased with both the selection and the quality of the wine. The dry Lambrusco reminded me a lot of the Bolognese evenings I spent living in Emilia, and I can't recommend it enough. Along with the glasses, they also bring a small plate with mini pizzas and some appetizers. For €5, I think it's absolutely worth it. The service is fast and very friendly. I recommend taking a tour of the interior; it's truly beautiful and has a historic feel.

07/09/2025: Delicious pizzas at reasonable prices! There are benches by the lake nearby, offering a lovely view. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us helpful information about bus connections in Baveno.

16/09/2025: Okay pizza at okay prices. It was very quick, and takeout was no problem. Unfortunately, it's located right on the main street in a small alcove.
