24/07/2024: We loved this hotel. Paola, its owner, is infinitely kind, the building is very beautiful, its location is perfect for discovering Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The view as well as the direct access to the lake are unique. A paradise. We will come back.

17/02/2025: Le restaurant offre une carte variée. Les pizzas y sont très savoureuses mais les autres mets sont encore meilleurs. Ayant eu la chance de my rendre plusieurs fois, j'ai pu déguster de très bonnes entrées servient dans des assiettes originales. Les primis et secondi sont encore meilleurs. Les desserts sont fait maison et mettent une excellente touche finale au repas. Le service est au niveau des plats proposés avec une belle touche de sympathie. J'y retournerai avec beaucoup de plaisir. Attention, très fréquenté. Il est préférable de réserver mais le personnel trouve toujours une solution.

30/10/2024: I spent a few hours in this place after a hike. From the terrace you can enjoy an enchanting view of the east face of the Rosa. The strudel was excellent (I allowed myself an encore). Cozy atmosphere, fast service even though it was crowded. Convenient for the cable car (it's practically attached).

29/09/2024: Beautiful staff! We were on our way to Bivacco Antigine, and host was really helpful, explaining the route and telling about surroundings in general. Food is good for mountain restaurant, too, and the view both from restaurant, or the outside terrace is breathtaking. Good location, just near the elevator, and close to the Madonna viewpoint, and excellent short via ferrata is in 20 min walk.

11/12/2024: Siamo stati con amici per i mercatini di Santa Maria Maggiore, ci siamo trovati benissimo una sala grande calda accogliente, lo staff ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il menù era fisso ma comunque fatto molto bene. Devo fare i complimenti a tutti e sicuramente ci torneremo

08/02/2025: I had dinner in this place inside as it was winter The environment is a bar with 4 tables in front of the counter Rather confusing in terms of furnishings but the fabric tablecloths are clean The service without praise or infamy We got two pizzas How much ever... mine was with raw ham, the ham was quite good even if cut a little thick, at least it was put on the pizza after cooking My companion pizza wuster and chips was unwatchable…wuster looked boiled and the chips were not fried but pan-fried…. Obscene The pizza dough was bland and tasted of nothing, the tomato was mediocre Definitely a place where we will hardly return

02/01/2025: We had a delicious dinner here! The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. The restaurant has a very homey vibe, no frills, with everything made fresh by the owner. He’s a sweet man from Sicily who told us that most restaurants in the area close during the winter due to less tourism, but he keeps his open to serve locals. In addition to pizza, there’s also a pasta of the day and other options for those looking for variety. We parked across the street from restaurant. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in town!

25/03/2025: Opening time 9am but shops are closed… The signs on the shops say 9am but then they open at 9.30am, what’s the point of this? Only the Chinese opened on time. Terrible.
