09/11/2024: Bella location vicino al lago delle fate, splendido giardino adatto ai bambini e anche agli amici pelosi, servizio cortese, simpatia, classico menù da rifugio con tanta squisita polenta! Ci andiamo tutti gli anni più volte con diverse formazioni (con bambini e senza) e l'accoglienza e il servizio sono stati sempre ottimi!

The dishes were well presented and the flavors interesting. The meat had good quality, as did the pasta, which had a balanced seasoning. 31/03/2025: Incredibly beautiful restaurant. The food is fresh, unfortunately a lot of it is very salty so you have to order more to drink. In addition, the waitress could smile a little more. Some people walk around as if the last of their pocket money had been stolen from their pockets. Definitely worth a visit.

24/01/2025: Happened by chance to have an aperitif. Nice environment with lots of local products, from cheeses to wines, to cured meats. Excellent aperitif. Fair prices. Clean place. Polite and friendly staff. I will gladly return.

01/04/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Elegance and refinement of the location and the dishes located in the most beautiful square of Stresa in the middle of the historic center. Prepared, competent and above all smiling staff. Very high quality food and excellent wine cellar. Great discovery !!!!

25/03/2025: We had a very nice evening here with delicious food and good wine. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We were there on a Sunday evening when the weather was bad, on the evening of the GER-ITA football game so it was a little more relaxed and less busy. The boss took his time and explained everything to us. He was also great at explaining everything in German (and also in English) and always had a few nice words for us. One starter was a bit too oily for our taste and the other could have been seasoned a bit more, but it was still very tasty and as I said, it's a matter of taste. Our main courses were a dream. The desserts were also very tasty, as was the wine. We'd love to come back.

10/03/2025: Stayed one night taking advantage of an offer with overnight stay and breakfast included. The staff was very kind, everyone with a great desire to do and above all smiling. Small room but with a wonderful view of the mountain. In the evening we ate a pizza, they make it low and crunchy, light, really delicious. The breakfast WOW: salty, sweet, not a huge buffet but with different choices. Delicious homemade tart and also the biscuits made by them. There is also the wellness area, if I had had half a day more I would have tried it, it is really new. For the next weekend in Val Vigezzo I definitely know where to stay.

23/02/2025: Abbiamo pernottato in questo albergo io e la mia famiglia per una notte per poter sfruttare la pista scii La Baitina adiacente alla struttura e raggiungibile a piedi a 100 mt. Stanze pulite e confortevoli, colazione curata e cena a base di pizza buonissima, sottile ed enorme molto leggera e digeribile, come antipasto abbiamo preso un tagliere con formaggi misti locali e marmellate fatte da loro davvero deliziose, location in generale curata. Unica pecca stanza sopra il locale ristorante poco insonorizzata.

20/10/2024: We really had a great time, super friendly staff, the place is one of those places that stays in your heart a little. I really think we'll be back!! The only flaw is that the double rooms are a bit small, but otherwise everything is ok!

12/03/2025: We stayed two nights and had dinner the second day. Rich and varied breakfast. A pleasant weekend and a good human experience. Good service and clean rooms. To be recommended.

09/03/2025: Purtroppo se andate con il vostro cagnolino non siete bene accetti😡. Vi mettono nei primi tavolini vicino alla porta, se potessero vi metterebbero direttamente fuori, peccato che era febbraio per cui faceva freddo e non hanno potuto ... Alla nostra richiesta di essere messi su un tavolino coi divanetti (tra l'altro ce n'erano di liberi appena 2 metri più avanti) ci siamo sentite rispondere con un secco NO, senza nessuna motivazione ed in modo sgarbato. SCONSIGLIATO SE ANDATE CON I VOSTRI AMICI A 4 ZAMPE!!! Servizio molto veloce, conviene ordinare pochi piatti per volta se non volete vedervi riempire il tavolo in meno che non si dica, e continuano a portare roba anche se vedono benissimo che non ci sta...👎Peccato perché il sushi è buono, anche se megli ultimi anni hanno alzato i prezzi e ridotto sia le porzioni che il numero di prodotti ordinabili😡. Detto questo non credo andrò più in questo posto con la mia cagnolina( notare che è una cucciola di 2 kg scarsi, per cui potete immaginare la grandezza ed il fastidio che poteva dare....😡😡), ma andrò in altri locali vicini in cui i miei amici a 4 zampe sono sempre stati i bene accetti. Certa gente non merita di guadagnare! 👎

20/03/2025: We were here on our last night in Connobio, to be honest it looked a more like a bar than a restaurant but we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was a light confused and perhaps a bit too familiar. Although we both speak pretty proficient Italian he insisted on speaking English with us. The food was however very good. I would normally give 4,5 Stars but as this isn’t an option I gave them 5. Let’s say A-/B+. Incidentally the music choice was also great.

17/03/2025: Let's go there for an aperitif. Wine is good and there are small, delicious slices with it...we're not really into chips and co. what you often get elsewhere.
