16/10/2025: I've always had a great time at Chicco and his wife, who run this place. I'll have to return soon because I'm accompanying a local gentleman who rents Antonioli quads to create a video of a ride up Mottarone. It's a great idea to stop here for lunch.

13/06/2025: Difficile arrivarci per caso e, segnalatoci da conoscenti, ci siamo andati. GRAN BELLA SCOPERTA - nelle viuzze del paese, il locale si presenta molto accogliente e ben arredato. Dispone di una terrazza esterna in tutta tranquillità. Attenzione e gentilezza al cliente 🔝. Nei piatti, influenze locali e azzeccate. Menù variegato e ottima scelta; stesso discorso coi 🍷. Il rapporto prezzo/qualita’ è assolutamente 👍. Che dire se non che.. SENZA DUBBIO CI RITORNEREMO.

02/11/2025: A great place in Intra, on Lake Maggiore, to spend the afternoon enjoying an aperitivo with friends (€8 including a drink). They have a wide selection of drinks and cocktails, some of which are quite unique. I tried the passion fruit spritz, which was really good! Recommended.

04/09/2025: It's a beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake. The food is excellent, especially the pizzas and polenta with venison, cheese, or mushrooms. The wine cellar is excellent. The service is fast and punctual, and the bill is very affordable. There's never a rush, and there's a huge parking lot. When it's sunny, you can eat outside; when it rains, the veranda is closed. A must-see when visiting the Antrona Valley.

11/08/2025: A pleasant surprise found thanks to Google, where my dad and I stopped for a sandwich and beer! Besides the classic "mountain" sandwiches (about €8), they also have more sophisticated options (I had the multigrain one with salmon, ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and salsa verde—delicious). The coffee was piping hot, just the way I like it. The girl and owners were incredibly kind. I'll be back with my colleagues!

Cheeses should be served at room temperature, straight from the refrigerator...
The meat and wine were good. Polenta...in my opinion, you need to improve... Excellent service. Nice place.
28/08/2025: We were staying nearby and decided to try La Genzianella on a whim. The food was fantastic, the service super friendly. I can't understand why it wasn't busy (it was a Thursday evening). The restaurant deserved a full house of happy people. We certainly were. Highly recommended.

27/10/2025: Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I tried the tasting menu for €70 per person. The dishes were very good, and the fresh bread, of various types, was excellent.
05/10/2025: A few days ago I went to Santa Maria Maggiore, Vigezzo Valley, and ate at this restaurant.
Beautiful, clean, and simple.
Efficient and helpful staff.
Interesting and varied à la carte menu, good wine list, both local and international.
Personally, I ate very well and will definitely return.
I highly recommend it!
