20/11/2025: Okay falafel, but no hummus or tahini sauces. They only have the yogurt garlic, mayo, ketchup and spicy sauce. You can definitely make a great vegan Falafel wrap or plate. The prices are good, and the portions are nice.

14/11/2025: I ate this before changing trains to Interlaken. The kebab was delicious. The wingbong was delicious. If I hadn't tried the kebab, I would have gone for pizza. If I ever get the chance, I'll definitely come back. The owner was very friendly and greeted me in Korean. I was grateful.

14/12/2025: There is always a first time. This was ours: leaving a restaurant before ordering. Upon arrival, I asked if there was a table for two. The person in charge said it was full inside and vaguely suggested we go “outside,” despite the temperature being around 1°C and no visible guests there. His attitude was openly annoyed, his explanations mumbled and unclear—surprising, given that I speak Italian at a C1–C2 level. Only after being sent out did it become apparent that “outside” referred to a covered and heated structure to the side—something that could have been explained in one sentence or shown in ten seconds. We attempted to sit at a table for two, only to find both chairs covered in bird droppings. A nearby table was slightly less dirty, so we moved there. While looking for tissues to clean the chairs ourselves, the person in charge returned, curtly told us we couldn’t sit there, and walked away. No explanation. No alternative. No courtesy. At that point, we decided to leave. If the food reflects the same standards as the service and hygiene, skipping the meal felt like the right choice.

24/11/2025: Lured by the promising Google rating, we had lunch at this restaurant in mid-July 2025 to break up our day of sightseeing in the Borromean Islands. The setting is undeniably very pleasant, especially on the upstairs terrace, and the staff were welcoming and professional. However, we were very disappointed by the mediocrity of the food, which was truly not up to the exorbitant prices charged. The five-course tasting menu, after a decent starter, turned out to be a tourist trap, consisting of, among other things, bland and overcooked fish, and pasta with a poor "Lake Carbonara" made up of a pasty sauce and a few supermarket trout roe, all as salty as the bill at the end, which made us never want to return. Even though the island itself is particularly touristy, it undoubtedly has some more authentic places worth choosing.

26/10/2025: A very nice and quiet place to eat and spend time. The food was absolutely excellent and beautifully presented.

18/03/2026: Whenever I go to Santa Maria Maggiore, it becomes a regular stop. The area evokes a casual atmosphere, with traditional dishes and casual yet well-presented service, serving very good food. As soon as the new season arrives, I return, as I have every year for years.

05/09/2025: It was very good, with our little Spitz in the cool and quiet under a large magnolia tree, top-notch welcome and service, fresh, very good food, reasonable prices, what more could you ask for. To be repeated without hesitation.
