30/06/2025: We went to this restaurant on Monday 25/06, after visiting the splendid garden of Villa Taranto, and we found a sign saying it will reopen on 02/07. Obviously, before taking a walk of over 2 km, we consulted both the restaurant's FB page and its Google profile, but in both cases the restaurant was regularly open. Other people were there and had the same misadventure as us. However, if this is respect for their customers, they would be happy to go eat elsewhere.

25/05/2025: English: We were visiting the botanical garden and we were hungry, I found this little place on Google Maps with very positive ratings and we decided to try it, I think it was one of the best choices ever made. A fixed daily menu, with three options of first course to choose from and 3 options of a second course to choose from, we chose baked pasta and seafood risotto as first courses, as second courses baked chicken and potatoes and ribs with sausage with baked potatoes, I can say excellent quality and also perfect quantity. We also managed to get a dessert that we shared, a very very good blueberry cheesecake. The lady who runs it was very kind and helpful. Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere perfect for a relaxing day. When we return to visit Lake Maggiore we will definitely return to try some other dish of the day. I am truly very satisfied overall. Thank you for this magnificent lunch

24/07/2025: È il ristorante di un hotel e spesso in questi casi non vi si trova bene. Stavolta invece tutto bene, sala ampia e bel panorama, buon cibo abbondante e per finire prezzi superonesti ( con 35 euro mangiate primo secondo e dessert). Davvero consigliato

06/10/2025: We stopped in spontaneously for dinner without a reservation. The meat, fish, and vegetables were of high quality and deliciously prepared. The price was fair, and the service was very attentive.

04/10/2025: The ambiance under the pergola is pleasant and the service friendly, but the value for money leaves something to be desired. The ravioli porcini tasted okay, albeit somewhat sparsely filled. The tagliatelle porcini seemed plain, almost too minimalist, which is disappointing given the prices. The portions are also rather small, which doesn't justify the whole experience. Overall, it's solid, but the prices are too high for what's on offer.

15/09/2025: A hotel with a restaurant open to non-guests as well. Friendly service and good food and wine. Very refined atmosphere. I always arrive late and can't enjoy the first-class cuisine because it closes shortly after, but there's always something delicious anyway. Delicious desserts. Top atmosphere. Thanks to the welcome from the maitre d' and the very empathetic blonde waitress from Intra. These places are also remembered for their human approach. ♡

21/08/2025: Eating a focaccia or a pastry, a macaron for 60 cents (who has ever seen that??!!), or drinking a latte for 2€, it's almost surreal. With impeccable table service and a warm decor. If I could, I would have given it a 6/5 star.

20/08/2025: We were there in the afternoon, and everything was already empty. We were very disappointed; we drove half an hour there. I have no idea when you're supposed to go there to get something.

13/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizzeria Alba – an incredible gastronomic experience in Canzo! I ordered a Prosciutto di Parma pizza and I must say it was extraordinary: light, crispy, and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Every bite is an explosion of flavor! The restaurant at Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 29, Canzo is welcoming and immediately exudes an authentic atmosphere. This isn't just any pizza, but pure art: tradition, passion, and attention to detail that few can match. If you want a pizza that will make you forget all the others, Pizzeria Alba is the number one place. A true legend in Canzo for those who love uncompromising quality and flavor.

06/09/2025: The best takeout pizzeria in the area. The owners are friendly, and the pizza is well priced and very tasty. For my family, it's the place to enjoy excellent pizza. Great variety of flavors and fast service. Top!

06/09/2025: I've been using it for years. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good, plentiful, and flavorful. The place is small but charming. Whether you order takeout or dine-in, the experience won't disappoint. The prices are low for what they offer. On weekends, it's best to call ahead, even for takeout.

30/07/2025: I ordered takeout with a friend. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even though it was peak time. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were adequate/generous, so much so that we had some leftovers to eat the next day, which were still very good. (Here's what we ordered: chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetable spaghetti, and the coconut dessert.)

19/08/2025: I'd already been here last year while hiking, and I was struck by the delicious breakfast and the simplicity, naturalness, and kindness with which the owners provided their service. This morning, driving down from Domodossola toward Lake Maggiore, I took the inland road specifically to stop again and enjoyed two cheese, ham, and tomato panzerotti, accompanied by a beer. I finished with an excellent espresso accompanied by a shortcrust pastry and jam. A memorable breakfast. A unique point of reference if you're passing through Ossola. If you sit outside, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful stone Church of San Vincenzo e Anastasio, a characteristic architectural feature of the area.

29/05/2025: That's a good bakery! Totally lovely and nice employees and great fresh breads and pastries. It's worth the detour.

12/07/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I didn't see the rooms, but the place is worth a stop. You can relax and try swimming in the pools. The view is beautiful.

12/07/2025: I stayed with my family and two dogs. The location is exceptional, a quiet spot surrounded by mountains, with fully equipped stone cabins. The food service is excellent, with options to dine in the restaurant or outside in the garden at comfortable, shaded tables. There are outdoor stone pools and a beach volleyball court. The manager is friendly and always available.

12/09/2025: Fantastic pasta and risotto. Al dente and fantastic taste, great service. Fresh inside and out. Newly renovated it looks like. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening here. Everything was perfect, and you can tell they pay attention to detail; everything is perfect. It's clean, and the service is impeccable. The dishes are high quality, and the flavors are delicious. Portions were a bit small, but that allowed us to order an extra course. The price is as expected and reflects the value of the dishes.

29/06/2025: We stopped by chance from today ... pizza after spending the day at the giants' marmitte. After so much sun we wanted a good ice cream, to tell the truth we were also intrigued by the pizza. 🍕 light dough and delicate ingredients, a great flavor! As for the ice cream I tried salted caramel and nutellone super good. I highly recommend you stop by!!!

13/09/2025: We arrived at the neighboring campsite today very hungry. Lured by the delicious smell of pizza, we absolutely had to stop in. We were definitely not disappointed; we had a vegetarian pizza and a Gomez pizza, along with a rosé from the house wine, and enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake. For dessert, we shared a homemade tiramisu, which was also fantastic. All in all, I definitely recommend it.

08/09/2025: The takeaway pizza was really good. Beer is very expensive, which is still common in Italy. The service seemed a bit confused. The division of tasks probably meant that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. The terrace is nice when the sun isn't too hot, for example, in the evening. The music and the noise of refrigerators and ventilation inside and at the entrance were annoying.

13/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant. I had some delicious cured meats and unique cheeses. Not to mention the polenta with sausage and porcini mushrooms, truly, truly excellent. Then there was dessert... the best tart I've ever had, with homemade cream and cooked blueberries.
